Let's make this story short. I rooted my Vibrant, then I flashed custom ROM (ICS Passion) but after that there is no baseband, IMEI on system info about the phone.Also sim card isn't detectable(no service). My biggest mistake is that I didn't do efs backup.
So now, only solution is to flash to stock ROM (2.1) with ODIN?
I also have problem with my usb port so I'm wondering is there any way for flash to stock ROM without using ODIN?

Have tried GS11 to repair - no success

need advice on possible solutions to fix? Pls thought maybe going back to stock versions would help? of kernel and ROM and then starting over?
Hy I own a nexus s i2093 and i get strange problems with my phone,first of all i tried to install gingerbread vith odin and my phone simply does not start with gingerbread on it just with the ics but in the ics i get a major problem and that problem is that i get unknown baseband and phone does not have an imei if i flash other radios than xxkb2 my data is not working but with xxkb2 i managed to get work just the bluetooth,wifi isn't turning on at all and my phone simply does not "see" the sim card.Please can anyone help me wit this?I haven't back up my efs folder.Can I restore it with riff box?
So guys, after much roms installed now i try to check my IMEI and its diferent.
Tried flashing stock roms and nothing.

Did you flash stock firmware with odin?.
what rom did u installed? g920f or g920p?
I flashed g920p stock rom via odin and my imei was also changed. I had a backup of my imei so restored it back. now downloading g920f stock
I had same issue, gave the phone to some repair guy with Z3X, and he wrote IMEI back, tried whole bunch of online solutions, but nothing worked besides Z3X box
Im installed a custom rom (CM13 6.0) For My Galaxy J7 (SM-J700F) After that my IMEI had changed and i can't use my netword and calls again .
how i restore my old IMEI again ?!
I think if you flash the stock rom your old imei will be back
If possible Plz Find another J7 which have custom recovery and backup his efs than put it folder from his phone to ur phone In backup folder than restore it...
I think its backur network....
Note: Do it first before Flash any rom... Backup all files with twrp

Hi I'm using the Galaxy J700H phone its like 2mos old, and have the exact same problem, so please can someone help? My problem is, I think also is my IMEI number? When i dialed *#06# on my phone my IMEI is 350000000006 and FTW that's not even my IMEI anymore, I have the original IMEI number here backed up but i tried everything, step by step. But sadly nothing worked out. I used this sim card in all of my phones and lastly when i wiped out my phone and flashed custom rom in it, then this happened, then i decided to flash the stock rom that has been downloaded from the sammbobile.com website, after that nothing happened. My phone always displays EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY.. pls help
Hi XDA. I just flashed a custom ROM to my Galaxy S6 G920S with stock ROM G920SKSU3DPK2.
Custom ROM flashing goes well but when I decided to go back to stock (I don't like some of the features of the custom ROM), I accidentally flashed G920SKSU3DPAC which is older release. When the phone boots up, SIM card no longer detected and IMEI gone, Baseband not available. Can I still bring back my IMEI?
