Same Problem here
Hi I'm using the Galaxy J700H phone its like 2mos old, and have the exact same problem, so please can someone help? My problem is, I think also is my IMEI number? When i dialed *#06# on my phone my IMEI is 350000000006 and FTW that's not even my IMEI anymore, I have the original IMEI number here backed up but i tried everything, step by step. But sadly nothing worked out. I used this sim card in all of my phones and lastly when i wiped out my phone and flashed custom rom in it, then this happened, then i decided to flash the stock rom that has been downloaded from the sammbobile.com website, after that nothing happened. My phone always displays EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY.. pls help

restoring imei

i had corrupted efs partition i took it to a local repair shop they fixed it. it was rooted and downgraded to 5.1.1 and the imei was changed,..right after that i backed up my efs, flashed official 6.0.1using odin and then i flashed xtrestolite rom.but in xtresolite rom it does not shows imei while i press *#06# but it shows imei in about device/status/imei information and there is no issues like emergency call only.i tried flashing my backed up efs partition but the result was same. now the question is it fixable ? and can i restore my original imei as i am planing to sell the device.
It's just a ROM problem. If you want to sell the device, just install stock ROM.
I dunno, I have XtreStoLite and *#06# shows IMEI & S/N. Don't think it's a ROM problem. Did you ask guys at repair shop about it?

Lost IMEI and baseband numbers after flashing custom software. Help with restoring.

Hi, I flashed xtrestolite on my phone and after booting up both my imei and baseband numbers became unknown; I now can't connect to my mobile network as my phone doesn't detect my sim.
I've tried to fix this issue by flashing other roms as well as flashing various official firmwares downloaded from sammobile to no avail.
I remember having the same issue with my gs3 and fixed it by flashing cyanogenmod. I tried this as well but the phone wouldn't boot up after flashing the unofficial version.
Could someone please help me with fixing this as I've been trying to for 3 weeks now.

The phone originally for vodafone uk and you flashed the latest firmware on it?. I think nothing can be done except restoring the imei from backup manually.

The phone was on version 6.0.1 and I flashed the same firmware versions. I deleted the backup of the original firmware unfortunately. So does this mean that nothing can be done to fix the phone?

Try reinitialize the phone using smart switch. Hopefully it could fix the broken imei. Flashing the correct firmware(odin/smart switch) sometimes helps to restore imei.

full back up with z3x box possable?

hi all i have a samsaung tool z3x box and want to make a full back of my s7 so i can try custom roms but if fone mess up can restore to defult i had an s6 befor put a rom on it and it messd up the imie ect and then brickd on me any advice would be good chears
you can just back up the efs in twrp, then just use any rom and if anything goes wrong you can use that backup, the z3x can fix your imei if that doesn't work, but you'll need to patch the baseband certificate on any rom you use if you fix the imei with the box
cheers thats all i wanted to know if i broke the imie that i could restore it as i messed up a s6 like that be for .
so technicly i could flash twrp put custom roms on ect and if i want to go back to stock just undo what i done with odin ?will it reset any triggers that flag up
thanks for your reply
It will only reset the System status to official. Knox wont be reset
