Besides JesusFreke, cyanogen is the godfather of Android.
CM exists since the G1/HTC Magic. After cyanogen got his Nexus, the project started to grow big. Atm it's (officially) available for 8 devices with many other unofficial ports for other devices.
No ext partition on the SD card is needed, it uses the Froyo A2SD implementation.
great man!!!!!
I just felt a little bit afraid...
I flashed all the things as you said ( Radio, wipe, CM, Gapps) then reboot...
I was stuck on a little Android robot just close to a white box and a yellow arrow going out the bof and going towards the robot..
Remove my battery 2 times than nothing...
Now, I wait a little bit more, then some stranges things happened ( going to HTC logo, reboot, the box and the android, reboot) and now, I have the boot animation...
All seem correct, but I was so afraid

When you see that the radio is being flashed, it's a VERY bad idea to pull the battery at that point!
Ok, I didn't know that!
So I feel lucky, everything is fine!
Thank for the information, I won't do that again!
just flashing with a2sd.
Fingers crossed it still works
update: It works with a2sd!!
I hope it dont cause problems as that a2sd method was for the nightlys.
Has the bootimage been changed since the last nightly?
Screens please

Static IP with DHCP router
Hi
I still have problem with connecting wifi to a DHCP router. I tried Wifi Static to set statis ip which worked fine on the other rom, but i have never been able to use it in CM Rom
Besides, I have two APN on my 3 Network, but I can only choose 1 of them hence I cannot swap to the other one.
I'm looking for helps from everyone
Thank you.
I don't understand why you people want screenshots... it's stock Froyo in appearance, other than some blues swapped for cyans.
Can't wait to flash this. Kudos to the CyanogenMod team for all their hard work.
Is wifi sleep issue fixed?
Is vpn issue fixed?
Is that definitely the correct md5 of the Radio image?
I get:
Code:

Consistently, downloaded both on-device using wget and on my PC using Chrome and wget.

No, read inside the brackets
The "CWM Recovery 6.0.1.0 for A700" has broken build prop and will cause the device check to fail.

Actually, I did read inside the brackets, but the CWM in the mentioned thread is not a touch version, or so I thought, that's why I asked.
EDIT: Now I realised that we were talking about the exact same thread title.
Anyways, I will flash this one, give it a whirl and read twice or more next time.
Jeez, where is my mind...
Thanks again.
Does the CM10 include the performance update?
does anyone else get e:Can't mount /sdcard/ ?
cwm tells me can't mount sdcard and emmc but data, cache and system mount fine (backup even stores on the sdcard under cwm folder)

The installer doesn't, but you'll need to wipe data for it to boot successfully. Wiping data won't wipe your internal sdcard though.
I'm getting the triangle of death after flashing the recovery in the OP...
I had the other CWM you posted in the other thread which the tablet seemed to boot into just fine.
i'm running a a700 with the a701 rom from way back, is that my issue?

Front Camera Image rotation 90 degrees to match orientation.

IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE FLASHING THIS RELEASE!
1. This ROM will wipe data due to different partitioning. The device would reboot while flashing and resume again.
2. Once on this ROM, the most effective way of going back to any other ROM would be to repartition from Odin.
3. While converting the filesystem, your efs that has your IMEI is backed up to /emmc/backup/efs. Keep a backup on your PC just in case.
4. Incase if you don't get a network signal, check if your IMEI and Baseband are proper. If not, go back to stock and try again.
5. Do NOT use Odin to flash Modems. Due to different partitions, Odin will screw up your existing MTD setup.

* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please

Reporting Bugs
You are allowed to report bugs only at the u81xxcm91 bug tracker. Before reporting a bug, please make sure you are running as stock as possible. This means no custom kernel, no custom framework modification, etc. If you are using any of the above modifications, please flash the rom again to get rid of the modifications before reporting.
REPORT BUGS IN THIS THREAD ONLY
Grab a logcat (adb logcat -d > logcat.txt) right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. The following is a useful format to follow.

Check PC, usb mass storage is full working, i ultra tested it xD
Alberto,
I appreciate you putting me in the credits, but your first post is still misleading, as it suggests that you have built this ROM from source. In fact, you are not building from source - it is a binary modification of my most recent CM9 build (which I really have built from source).
Another (small, but annoying) thing you have done is changed the authorship of scripts that are clearly not your own. For example, your "02HuaweiProps" script says "by Alberto96", but in fact it is an unmodified version of my "02setuphardware" script, which you can see here: https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...ngerbread/prebuilt/etc/init.d/02setuphardware. It is generally not good behaviour to try and pass off other people's work as your own.
Yes is true, i changed it (script) as before i mod it adding some changes (for u8180 touch and differences in camera), but i changed them differently and i leave my credits in scripts. Sorry, i will fix it in next version. I will add also this alert in first post. Thanks for the alert
UPDATE: Fixed for Future Release
U8120/10/00 Version almost ready, only need testing on bluetooth and is ok All is new now, audio module, graphic initializer,.... all! Works smooth and without problems. Link will appear on thread when rom test is succesfully. U8150 rom needs still to be tested.

general impressions are good for U8110
- sound is a little weaker but can survive
- wifi, bluetooth, camera works
the biggest problem is the calibration screen, the corners and the top and bottom of the screen is very difficult
thanks for your hard work for us

IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE FLASHING!
1. If you flash this ROM from Stock ROM, it will wipe data due to different partitioning.
Stock ROM
1. Flash CWM Compatible Kernel (CF ROOT)
2. Reboot to Recovery.
3. Wipe Data / Factory Reset.
4. Select the ROM zip from your SD Card and flash.
5. The device will reboot and finish flashing.
6. Reboot to Recovery Again.
7. Flash Google Apps.
8. Reboot
Any other AOSP ROM (CM7/MIUI/CM9)
1. Reboot to Recovery.
3. Wipe Data / Factory Reset.
4. Select the ROM zip from your SD Card and flash.
5. The device will reboot and finish flashing.
6. Reboot to Recovery Again.
7. Flash Google Apps.
8. Reboot
Upgrading from previous versions of CM10

2. Select the ROM zip from your SD Card and flash.

Thanks i flash it and Report =)
Gesendet mit meinem Mäusekino =)
Hi Dhiru.. Currently on it and its great work... A big thanks to you bro..
I have two questions.
1. How to SWAP SD Card.
2. How to disable Touchpad lights.
Oh God Dhiru you shocked me again!
But oops! I got stuck at the first boot screen. Previous was your CM10.2 A4. Flashed CM11 and gapps without wiping anything. After rebooting it stucked.
Edit: Tried clean flash from DDLF2 but still stucked after CM11A1 flashing.
First look.. Awesome...
Unable to customize UI.. Seems like brightness is little higher even at the minimal level..
So far so good...
Hit Thanks if I have helped you...

By porting "CF-ROOT" for those CF-ROOT which make people phone boot loop .....funny hah...
well, i just want to ensure, our member are using the cwm or cf-root which Dhiru is using so, we can avoid unnecessary incompatibility between our so old cf-root. and also "why i get status 7 ? "
Downloading now...... Thanks dhiru

AWESOME. Amazing. Dhiru you're the best, seriously. Thank you for doing this. I hope you can make a stable ROM out of this. Thank you so much.
EDIT: Waited patiently for this... what are the absolute major bugs which effect everyday stuff? Phone calls/texts/app incompability/battery ... anyone who is using the ROM currently, please answer.
