Quick - Command button behaviour - fail - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey there
When I choose the quick - command button to open the app drawer it just simply switches to the homescreen instead of opening the drawer. The other functions (e.g. taking screenshot/open camera) work flawlessly.
Anyone else experienced this problem?

Random Menu Bar appeared on phone?

Hi just wondering if anyone can shed any light on this random menu bar that's appeared on my phone? I've closed all applications with es task manager and it's still there. I'm running Jellybeans on a galaxy note 2
If anyone can direct me where to get rid of it would be most appreciated.
Cheers guys!
Do you mean the bar on the side with the icons?
I think the phone has TSF shell launcher, try a launcher like apex or nova

If that doesn't work you can try this app
I had a app popup as the playstore, and it was a spam type popup from an app i installed a long time ago, DOWNLOAD AIRPUSH detector also as a double check if experience any abnormal popups to your GUI . it found the app and i uninstalled it ASAP (it was a workout app)
That popup is not abnormal, it is a feature of the last update. It's called multi-card, and allows you to manage 2 or more applications simultaneously on the screen; if you drag one of the icons on the desktop it opens the corresponding application, and if you drag another will open the new application under the one that is opened before
That's amazing cheers guys! It was properly bothering me becaues it would pop up every now and then and I didn't know why!
Is it possible to add other applications to the selection to use in multi windows?

Click to collapse
No, for now, the apps supported are only the ones you see

Toggle link association

Hey Devs, got an idea:
what if there were a notification bar toggle that would switch whether the system remembers default actions such as clicking a play store link / URL / specific file type thus when off would bring up the select app menu and when on would re-remember your prefs?
I know I'm making sence

Some constant issues on 4.1.2 jb

Hi I'm facing a few issues as follow:
Unreliable Google now app search function - sometimes typing an app name doesn't cause any app to appear.
No sharing function after taking screenshots using long press method - allows you to edit and draw on the picture but unable to share straight from it.
Buggy recent apps menu - sometimes when pressing on one of the recent app, the click doesn't register and it takes me to a random app instead.
Anybody face similar issues?

Camera app disappeared

Hi, I'm new in this forum and also I'm a new android user. I got this phone yesterday and it came with the 4.1.2 update, it is working fine and all, but today something strange happened, my phone freezes up while I was watching a video, it rebooted itself and then, the camera app was gone, and the gallery app also seems to have disappeared, although they both appear on the settings/apps menu. I would like to know what can I do to solve this, please as I don't understand this system well.

Are you using a custom launcher? Most custom launches have the ability to hide apps in the app drawer. Check in the launcher settings for an unhide option.

Go to the app menu where you see the apps. Touch and hold your finger on the app for a second or 2 that you want back on one of your home pages. The home pages should show up and simply drag the app where ever you want it. Move your apps around like this and you can change the apps on the bar on the bottom of the screen the same way.

Thank you for the suggestion but it didn't work out. Unfortunately, I didn't had any other choice but to factory reset my device and now I have the camera back, but thank you for the fast answer!
