I wanna start off by saying HUGE thanks to newtoroot for giving me a working ROM to port to One S and helping me out when I needed it
and also HUGE thanks to chubzlou for bringing this to the scene

About this ROM:
This ROM is a port of an ICS leak Based off of HTC One X RUU 3.00.771.2 CL89995 test-keys for Tegra One X Android 4.0.4 . Newtoroot put A LOT of work into making it compatible with our S4 chips
This has EVERYTHING the JB ROM has minus the clock in the Drop down menu. (I am working on implimenting this)
It also has my cool Kernel with sweep2wake features and all kinds of other stuff more than you can shake a stick at.

Got a questions though, in the statusbar it shows 4g. This sounds great but as I don't have a 4g version something doesn't seem right. Is this just a statusbar icon bug or do i have to chance something in my buildprop?

Same here, can get you a logcat if you want but already have one submitted in the kernel tracker. Any chance of an alternate stock boot.img please?

Download ROM from www.bindroid.com and save to the root of your SD Card
Boot you phone into ClockworkMod Recovery - Turn phone off, switch phone on holding volume down button at the same time.
Select "Wipe data/Factory reset" to clear your current system.
Select "install zip from sdcard"
Select "choose zip from sdcard" and choose The BinDroidRom you just put on your SD Card.

Thats not entirely true, I still think most people come here, there just isn't as much activity since nothing has been released in a while.
However this ROM looks very nice!

Once CM9 is out, I feel XDA will come back. I just wish they'd allow the Banished one back. I'd give this form it's kick back, such a good DEV.

Photos look similar to Virtuous Unity...is that the case? Does this include Visual Voice mail, and does the camera hardware button unlock the phone and open the camera app? Those are a couple items that I missed with Unity.

Bootloops? Or Setup errors? Clean wipe, let sit for 10 minutes after install. Reboot. Then try? Classic Sense setup

I wiped System, Data, Cache, Davlik, and then flashed the ROM.
The flashing progress goes perfectly fine, without errors.
There are no bootloops. However, once you boot the phone, it lingers at the Splash screen.
There is a lot of potential on this ROM, let's not lose our hope.
A Sense 3.5 rom would be worth wild. I'm not a fan of custom skins atop roms. Then adding an MIUI type thing to a Sense Rom....makes me not wanna try. But there is talk of a stock Sense theme. But some of the screenies shown say sense version 2.1. But non the less its promissed as Sense 3.5 Hopefully the kernel is good, a Overclock would be nice. Noticable lag while playing certain games now Xo

Same thing for me. Wonder if it would load any better if i treated it like an update to unity, rather than wiping everything (since i run cm7) and installing it as a fresh rom

IT auto wipes everything...flashes find but there is a problem preventing it from getting past splash right now. Showed him the error....I imagine easy fix once able to narrow problem...right now it halts before you can get much of a cause....

Setupwizard is messed up, just click right below in the screen a couple of times where the next button is located and you will be fine and set phone up via settings
If Rom is very buggy, go to settings / Development and turn of Animation /transition - this fixed it for me and now Phone is fast

THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL PROVIDE BEST INSTALL AND A FASTER SMOOTHER ROM.........
1. Download super user fix as mine wouldn't update. Here https://rapidshare.com/files/3452039741/root-fix.zip
2. Download and install JDR0iD SeNSuS 4.0.
3. Reboot to fastboot and install firmware (if coming from GB or old firmware (3.32 required)
4.reboot, keep tapping where the next button would be during setup (right of the lockring) setup is buggy on all Roms, set up phone manually once booted.
5. After about 10 mins to stabilise, download one of Sebastian kernels to what ever suits you herehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424345 (Fixes camera glitches)
6. After kernel flash, go to advance menu and fix permissions twice
7. REBOOT AND ENJOY

After first boot, reboot recovery install Su patch above then flash your chosen OC kernel and fix permissions twice. This will greatly improve speed and stability.

those features are probably broken as of now. and the ville ruu is not a leak, it's a developer's preview. although there's "release-keys" in the build.prop, but it's still watermarked. that's the weird part of it..

I'm sure HTC is making it harder to crack the bootloader.
I'm curious why all sense 2.1, 3.0, 3.5 are based on 2.3.3 (4.54 build) instead of 2.3.5???

@nico4k Because there's not many ROMs that have Android 2.3.5 with Sense 3.0 to work with for HTC Evo 4G

Mikg3.11 is sense 2.1 and Energy sense 3.5, Radiance sense 3.5 are all android 2.3.5

My ROM installed is [ROM][S4][Dec 25] JB Sense+ Stock Deodex Rooted 3.16
I wipe cache/dalvik/system/factory reset in TWRP 2.3.3.0
What can I do to install the new one ?

Do you know how to get the htc dialer smart search feature from the Ville One SE port to work on this ROM? I tried copying HtcDialer.apk and build.prop from there but the functionality (romanized pinyin name search) still doesn't work.

I'm in your same situation... came from JB Sense+ Stock Deodex Rooted 3.16, hboot 2.15... and for me all work good..
I flash the boot.img in the fastboot, then full wipe with TWRP, and flash the ROM...
Have you check the md5?

Wifi connectivity
Unless I overlooked the threads but I don't see anything mentioning wifi connectivity issues. Mainly mine doesn't connect at all to any wifi whether being password protected or an open network. I flashed the boot.img using FlashGUI then wiped data,cache etc in recovery. Flashed the ROM and all goes well till attempting to connect to wifi.
Any input or advices would be appreciated.

I have been following this thread and people who tried it there didn get the buttons to work, but proxuser apparently has a patch to even have the recent apps button to function as the menu button. i just wanted to know if you build has these capabilities

Ok i am downloading your build right now.... i made one myself with the "tutorial" from the other thread. Just flashed it and will report back if stuff is working.
