I'm sure HTC is making it harder to crack the bootloader.
I'm curious why all sense 2.1, 3.0, 3.5 are based on 2.3.3 (4.54 build) instead of 2.3.5???

@nico4k Because there's not many ROMs that have Android 2.3.5 with Sense 3.0 to work with for HTC Evo 4G

Mikg3.11 is sense 2.1 and Energy sense 3.5, Radiance sense 3.5 are all android 2.3.5

WVGA Sense 3.0 HTC Lockscreen
Thx to ChubbzLou, Lyrcal and GodZson for testing. Just apply apk as a normal apk install it'll update lockscreen No need to flash in a update.zip
To install if not showing after installation (Some Ginger Roms) per GodZson:
Go to Settings, Display and select Stock Android Lockscreen (depends on rom) then install HTCLockscreen.apk which is attached below (it'll update previous lockscreen). Once completed go back to and deselect, new lockscreen should be working now. Always Backup.
** Won't install on non gingerbread or aosp. Works by just installing as well on some Ginger Roms, some will also need to restart to see it function.**
** You can also install by using Root Explorer and copying over the old htclockscreen.apk in system/apps directory file then just reboot once updated. May not work with all roms.**
The shortcuts for Lockscreen are being checked, they don't work yet. Music Widget, and Alarm work.. Caller ID photo not showing up "WIP"-

Working & tested on several different EVO 4G's
to start this ROM is based off CM7
If it worked there then it works here as we didn't change drivers, software or radios
I added scripts to speed up the rom and help it run smoother.
We tested 4G/Wimax and it was working for all the beta testers just fine
WiFi is working
Wireless Tethering is working and its all i use so if it wasn't working, I wouldn't of released the rom
WakeLock issue is a AOSP thing just like CM7, its android 2.3.7 and im sure its a driver issue. I haven't had the wakelock issue but every phone is different.
Sony apps and widgets work and dont. We are still working on those.
How to flash this rom
Wipe everything except SDCARD
Wipe system 3 times
wipe data at least 2 times
wipe both cache
Wipe Wipe Wipe! Flash the rom and go. Do not upgrade from Deck, or CM7 or any other rom. When we post a update, we will tell you what was changed and how to flash it, be a upgrade or clean. But if this is your first time then you must do a clean install.

No, uses HTC stock kernel, but there's an issue that will be fixed in the next version where Wi-Fi drivers aren't working, so I just threw AnthraX in there, guess I'll change that too, you always point out the first flaws

I respect that, have you flashed any of the ROMs in my DerpLine yet?
I flashed the 3.5 ROM yesterday with AnthraX v9 and all was running smoothly. I'm not a big fan of 3.5 ROMS because of the issues they have with receiving text messages sometimes, and my stubbornness of not using a different messaging app.
I've been busy today but will eventually give this a go.
Hm, maybe an alternate texting app in the next DerpXL update...

Does the different kernel cause the front camera to flip? Also, is Talk's video chat working correctly? The only Rom I've been able to find that has it working right is the cm7 nightly release and nitrous 1.3.3 (on the stock kernel). Looking forward to checking this out. Great work and downloading now.

Yes it does flip,im working on fixing this,but it does work good in panoramic view.I have'nt tried google talk video yet.Its version 1.4.

Thanks for the quick response. If anyone could post results on Google talk video it would be greatly appreciated. It's a feature I use and would like to know if I'm going to be sideways or not. I'm downloaded, just waiting for a response before I flash. Thx again!

The update will include,Beats Audio hack,custom rosie,more init.d tweaks,updated smurfed-out tweaks 4.0,which i hope fixes the camera issue and some other goodies.Working on it now.

When I saw Revolations I thought it was a typo and was gonna PM you. Til I finally picked up on the "Evo" aspect lol
Looks nice. I don't really ever use sense, but if I did, I'd give it a go. Any plans or inclination to make the unlock bar and rosie dock rectangular? I'm sure it's just me, but I've always disliked the arches in Sense. Not that my opinion matters, just throwin it out there, maybe others will add their yays or nays about it.

I am working on a custom rosie,i agree i like the rectangular rosie as far as the lockscreen,i can see what i can do,im not real great with customizing,but i will try.If anyone has experience with this kind of thing,your help would be much appreciated.

Cant wait until everything works well on this ROM, im running ICS rite now, but i like sense widgets and a few other sense things
same here. Once we get all those goodies working, I will flash this as the vanilla ICS is cool but a bit boring.

I am trying to install Amazon market and MP3 apps no matter where I get the apps from they install the UK versions. Living in the US this poses a problem that it will not let me purchase music, any ideas?
My phone says its a Desire HD in the settings is there a way to change this or does it even matter.Also there was no option for English (US) only (UK), could this be a problem as well?
I love this Rom but I use Amazon almost everyday any help would be great!
Also any chance of getting Twitter installed on friend stream?

I installed last night and just wanted to say that so far I have really been enjoying this rom. I haven't posted in a thread for a good while, but this rom was my exception. Hope to see more updates as I haven't actually enjoyed my phone for a couple of months prior to installing. Good work.
