Help with custom rom Sense

Hello everybody,
I have a little problem/bug with my HTC. I have flashed the rom Saga3D v3.0 that includes Sense 3.0.
My phone wasn't working anymore after trying to flash two times Runnydroid and CyanogenMod, it was blocking on HTC bootscreen (and that for more than 20min)
As a temporary solution i found Saga3D and my phone is working again but the rom normally includes Sense 3.0. In the software informations of my HTC there is written Sense 3.0 but in case I have the interface of Sense 3.5 !
I had the new update before flashing (and new HBOOT idd) and I dont know why I get this problem. I did a full wipe (Wipe data/cache with Revolutionary CWM) and I dont understand why I get again Sense 3.5

download the 4ext recovery control app from market and flash that recovery over cwm! Then reboot into recovery, format ALL partitions then flash a sense 3 rom again eg - Shadow Hawk V2.1 [see mmy sig]

Tried to follow your instructions, flashed Recovery.img of 4ext but now it is blocking on HTC boot screen.. Reflashed recovery of Revolutionary CMW and it is working again.. wtf
Is it not linked of my hboot that is in 2.00.0002 ? Is it not more raisonable to wait s-off with new update off revolutionary ?
Every time my phone is blocking on HTC boot screen I must pull out the battery and I'm scared that my phone is bricking (already did 5-6 times because cmd isn't finding phone on boot screen..)

I flashed the recovery img of 4ext but when i tried to go into the recovery(with the app or with volume down+power) with 4ext my phone was blocking on HTC boot screen.
I pulled out the battery, boot in normal mode and flashed again the recovery img of Revolutionary CMW. Recovery is working with this CMW.
so are you saying your HBOOT version is S-ON 2.00.0002?

Yes my HBOOT is s-on 2.00.0002 but unlocked with HTCdev. (People said me that flashing a custom rom was possible with s-on, if bootloader was unlocked)

It is possible to flash S-ON but you need to manually flash the boot image for the custom rom that you intend to use after ROm flash.

I think I will actually wait for new update of Revolutionary, I got to much worried with flashing/rooting my HTC. Will try to reset to actually stock rom and wait.

[Q] Sensation XE with T-Mobile Branding - No RUU :( Help

Hi everyone,
yesterday I tried to get a custom ROM on a Sensation XE with T-Mobile brand. I unlocked the Bootloader with HTC-DEV, installed 4EXT Recovery and then Phone was Clean (All Userdata deleted). I forgot to Backup the Stock Software. I searched all over the Internet for a RUU of that Stock Software, nothing.
The Phone isn't booting up to Android, Stucks in "Sensation XE" Screen (Custom ROM: Viper S 1.3.5)
Phoneinfo:
HBOOT: 1.27
S-On
CID: T-MOB101 (can't change...)
Stuck Software number: 3.33.111.151
What can I do to restore this XE or to get Custom Firmware working? (S-Off failed, because Android isn't booting up)

if you tried to flash a rom then first enable smartflash from recovery and flash the rom again

hi everybody
i have htc desire s stuck in a bootloop everytime i try to turn it on it shows htc logo and black screen after that
the main reason is that i started fastboot by holding power+volume down it started succefully but after that i cant boot up !!

i cant go in recovery but i can turn into fastboot and flash a kernel
i tried flashing recoveries but didnt work its not rooted

What have you been trying to do after you got in to bootloader?
And by locked bootloader you mean that it isn't been touched by any of the
known methods to unlocked it- is the device in a completely stock state yet?
Your specs sugest that you may be- if so the easiest thing would be to download
, stock ruu saga 4.0.4, follow the procedure and flash your device with clean, stock
Ics (forget about your data and apps, you can download them again)
That is what i'd've done at your seat...
And after that get some knowledge about unlocking bootloader- if you do not have it yet,
All the needed info you can find here on xda if you just try search box...
You can also wait for the answer from some of the great ones among us
And this would also be very good (or perhaps even beter) solution to yor trouble...

just unlock the bootloader through htc-dev (damn easy) ,, flash 4ext recovery ,, then flash a new rom ! u can flash ice cream saga rom if you want stock ics look, but i recomend DEsire xs rom , sense 4.1 and very very fast ! dont forget to flash boot.img through fastboot !

i have qustion plz reply me or give me a solution i unlocked my htc desire s and i installed jellybean 4.1.2 pac version 19.3.0 it is going smooth but now i want install the OFFICIAL RUU from htc site . i try to install but i showing error i canot install it why any body have solution if anybody friends please sent me my mail [email protected] thank you

You need to have a locked bootloader to use a RUU, you'll have to re-lock it. The stock ICS rom is not bug-free, so you might want to flash an older RUU.
If you didn't unlock your phone through htcdev, don't flash the stock ICS RUU as afterwards the only options for modifying your phone are via htcdev unlock (you can't temproot).

If it got stuck on HTC Logo bootscreen after you tried to flash the official RUU and you can get into bootloader i suggest you try this thread

Hello, after spending one night...trying to recover my phone, after following this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583427 , I have my htc S-ON, with hboot 2.15.0000 and radio 1.15.50.05.29, bootloader TAMPERED and UNLOCKED. I am unable to power on my phone, it's enter just in bootloader and TWRP.I don't know what to do to...flash a rom, even start the phone into a soft...Can anybody help me, please? Cme back to stock or something to power on my phone.Thank you..
I mention that the phone was from T-MOBILE, that's all I know. (s4)

I have rooted several diffphones for years.. this is driving me crazy!

I cant get any 4.4 roms to bootup,
this is a friends phone, she is waiting on it after I fixed the cracked screen... I am so frustrated...
I know I need to SuperCID (((TRIED AND CANT FIGURE THAT OUT))) SO thus can not get s-off (am I correct in-that I need these two things befor being about to flash a custom ROM???) PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hello, you forgot to "S-off" your phone.
I find that to get SuperCID and S-Off only works if you have a ROM that has Sense on it. Try this:
Download ViperOne Rom and in install it. (Hopefully it will load and bootup)
If it doesn't get past the Logo screen go into the "Bootloader" on the phone (Power + Volume Down). Connect it to your USB and make sure it's says "Fastboot USB". Extract "boot_hboot2.15.img" in the ZIP (in Kernal Folder).
Put the file in the same folder in your Fastboot/ADB . Type in "Fastboot Flash Boot boot_hboot2.15.img" and is should allow you to start up the ViperOne ROM.
From there you should be able to do your SuperCID and S-off. (Make sure your Rooted, SuperSU, and Busybox is installed before doing SuperCID and S-off)
barbudaniel20 if you just want to load up a ROM that is designed for 2.15, then just find the "boot.img" in the ZIP file of the ROM and then got to "Bootloader" type "Fastboot Flash Boot boot.img"
That should load up your ROM. S-off allows the ROM to automatically install the boot.img to the phone.

Thank's for reply valky. The phone runs now on viper rom but with signal problems and is not s-off 'cause i don't succed in this action. Maybe I don't find a good tutorial. Did you know one good?
PS: Maybe I have to flash back the stock rom and after do all these, s-off, root etc.? Is possible if I didn't remember which was the original? I can flash wathever I want? :S
PS: I want to solve that problem with the signal..

Viper rom actually installed? Then use rumrunner.us to set the phone S-OFF. Once done you can install another radio version.
BTW whats the specific problem with the reception / signal ?

I will be back next month with my s.off news thank.s for site.
The problem is that I use my phone for 2..or 3 hours and after that I have to restart it because I lost my signal and I.m unable to make calls .. and I think that I can fix it by flashing another rom but I have to succed first in s.off.. then I have to chose one good rom

You can install any HBOOT 2.15 rom with S-ON. S-OFF is only needed to flash custom radios or HBOOT 2.16 roms.
