Camera app for 4.2 with gallery access? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I am trying to find a camera app that will work on jb 4.2 (I am running Invisiblek's Unofficial CM 10.1 nightly, currently on 12/20) that has access to the gallery from within the camera app. As of right now, after I take a picture, I have to back out of the camera app and open the gallery app to see my pics. Is there an app out there that has this? I have tried the camera app rom CM 10 official stable build, but as soon as I open the camera app, I get a force close error. Any help/ideas would be appreciated.

Bump
UPDATE: for anyone else like me having this issue, I felt pretty dumb when I found out how to access the gallery. Just swipe right or left from the camera app and you should see your pictures.

Anyone have any success with this camera? Just wondering. I installed the zip and followed the instructions in the OP for this thread:

Panorama crashed the camera app and Sphere didn't seem to ever end, it kept having me take photos of the same place. I am using sverhagen's cm 9.1 r8 stable.

The 4.2 Camera mostly works for me, as the Photo Sphere is only 1% working. Get it to take the 1st pic, but the tracking after is not working. 1st pic just very very slowly moves and I give up after 5 mins of staring at the screen
Running the last CM 9 alpha released. Installed the main 4.2 from AP (it wouldn't load the sphere at all) and then the patch AP released (all links are down now due to Google as expected). Even changed my build.prop as suggested here and no change to the behavior.
I just saw This thread so the question I think will be does MT4GS have a Gyro?
And just found the answer to my own question ...NOPE

[SOLVED] Camera app is missing

OK, so I'm building a AOSP rom from source for the Xoom. When I compile the rom it will make gallery2.apk just fine. But the camera app does not show up in the app drawer although gallery will.
I have copied gallery2.apk to my galaxy nexus and both camera and gallery works fine.
I have googled and come up short of solutions for this issue other than "camera & gallery merged". I know this already, it just seems like something is missing allowing the xoom to start the camera hardware.
Also, camera works fine on other builds like CM or EOS....just not my build...grrrrr
Does anyone have any ideas to throw my way to get this resolved? Any help is appreciated.
Oh...when trying a 3rd party camera app I get "Error: Cannot start camera"
EDIT - WAS MISSING CAMERA DRIVER
Hey man, do you have it? I need too lol

[Q][9001][MOD]

Hi,
GT-I9001 Android 4.0.4 CyanogenMod 9 ivendor ariesve RC5
I have a strange issue with my Samsung S Plus. When I use the camera with the builtin app I can take photographs without any problem.
I take the photo and then I'm back to the live view.
When I use others apps, like Camera Zoom FX, HDR Camera, ProCapture... I always have the last photograph on my preview screen. There's no refresh. I don't get back to the live view screen.
I have tested several apps, same issue.
Can't find any related post.
Thanks for your help.

I experienced something similiar while on CM9, and it was one of reasons I gave up using this. Why not to try anything else? Try out a CM10 based rom, or SlimBean 3.1, fully compiled from AOSP. I prefer the last one, stable and reliable.

Using official CM11, media apps can't find most of my camera pictures

I've been using stock 4.4 on my Nexus 5 for a while. I installed CM11 M1, and now it seems like the Camera, Gallery and Photos apps cannot see pictures in DCIM/Camera starting from a certain date (around 2 weeks ago) onwards. Taking new pictures with the CM camera app seems to work when you take the picture, but scrolling right to view the picture you just took does not show it in the app, nor do Gallery or Photos. However, file explorer apps do see the missing pictures, including ones just taken with the CM camera app.
Restoring my stock ROM backup goes back to normal and I see all the pictures, again, including the ones I took with the CM camera app.
I've tried CM11 M1 and also the 2013-12-06 nightly (with a full factory reset and wipe), same results.
Has anyone seen this behavior after installing the official CM11? Thanks!
Same here with

[Q] AOSP / Stock gallery app?

Hi there,
I've installed the 'Google Camera' app from the Play Store. But it doesn't seem to come with a default gallery, so I only have the HTC Gallery.
Which is fine, except if you take the special pictures the Google Camera can do like Lens Blur or Photosphere. If I want to view a Photosphere I know have to start the camera, click on the 'review pictures' icon and then swipe till I find it.
Isn't there supposed to be a stock gallery or something with it?
How does this work on the latest Nexus devices and / or google-play-edition devices?
If that 'Google Camera' app comes stock on some devices, there must be a proper way to view the pictures you took with it I assume :S.
