it's all there in the framework-res.apk

copy this to /system/framework using root explorer or any file manager.
it'll give you all that you need but at some places the text formatting may get messed up
do make a backup of the original and replace at your own risk.

is this file for all roms???? i am on XXKPL

For crt animation u shd edit a xml in framework res.apk..

If possible try learnin how to add CRT by your self
Decompile framework-res.apk
Go to values-->bools.xml
Change animate screen lights (dont know the xact name) to true from false
compile it back
Open build.prop in system folder and delete line debug.sf dont know the xact line but starts like this )
Thn Flash it via recovery and U r done
If u r not able to do all these things just send me the framework-res.apk and build.prop and 'd do it for u

dude by changing stuff in build.prop dosent the phone slow down?
i changed my version number and display name, it worked well but apps in sd card on tw took 15 min to show
n is it safe or has some side effects

hahahaaa Change the thought bro...
Modding build.prop cause no harm and dosnt cause any side effect as such....
U mod it perfectly thn it would work fine

dude first i tried changing the framework res from the phone but couldnt find values inside res... using root explorer
nd ive seen on other sites u gotta change many more things
so will this work or do something else

To the OP (or anyone),
Any suggestions on how I can mod my battery icons (and status bar icons would be great too but I'm happy with just the battery)?
I used to use UOT Kitchen while using GB but have just updated to ICS. Now when I try to upload the framework-res.apk from my phone it is 18.7MB. The max size allowed on UOT is 17MB so I get an error "file too big!"

You'll find the apk files at your /system/app
to pull it from adb
type: adb pull twframework-res.apk
adb pull framework-res.apk
adb pull SystemUI.apk

Note : If there is a SystemUI.odex file of previous system UI delet it and replace this system UI with the one in System / app folder and give correct permissions!!!
