TC Desire HD Hard shell w/kickstand.

Just got this case and so far it's good. I love the kickstand. I have the zagg screen protector combined with this case and I'm loving it.

Awesome dude. I've been watching that case and was wondering when someone would do a review for it. Can you tell me the size after? maybe a before and after side by side? I love the slimness of the phone so I don't want added bulk.

It adds some bulk; nothing mayor that can't be dealt with. It kind of feels like the HTC Thunderbolt. But still, it feels like it will protect it against any fall. The pro is the kickstand.

Awesome thanks dude. It definitely adds a little bit to it. I'm gonna keep my eye on that case though. Hows the camera and the flash with it being depressed in the case like that?

I work in a chemical -plant I guess I will stay with defender for every day. That may be an option for off days though.

Nice case! My Inspire is on it's way! How is the Zagg? Does it lower the quality of the screen any?

I have the Zagg Invisible shield on the front only and I love it. I'm using the Otterbox Commuter with it and everything plays very nice with each other. I'm really thinking about getting this case but it's like 30 bucks DANG! lol Zagg makes a solid product and they stand by their stuff.

What is pressing the physical buttons like with it? Power button and volume can be a bit recessed

i have this. I got from my local market for nearly 70 rs means only 1 euro

I'd never go for a metal housing as I want my 'baby' to have a soft landing when I drop it on a concrete floor.

I have been using the case mentioned in post #5, it looks nice but accessing the volume rocker or lock button is little difficult. I liked the first case thats mentioned in this thread, unfortunately I can't find them in Indian market (ebay). If anyone knows where to find them in India (if possible in Bangalore) please let me know. Thanks.

I keep cracking my screens. Will Gorilla Glass 3 be able to withstand my abuse?

Gorilla Glass 3 will still be glass and if you are excessively abusive, the glass will break.

I'm busy and drop my phone during my daily commutes.

Busy doesn't mean you need to drop it... Maybe get a case if you drop it a lot?

I hate cases. Makes the phone bulky and unaesthetic. It wouldn't do my phone justice.

Doubt the 3rd generation glass will offer any major shatter-proof features over the original GG. New technology does not balance out user error.

As fantastic as Samsung phones are, this thing isn't winning any beauty contests. Outside of the screen, it's plastic. EVERYWHERE. There are some pretty slim cases out there, just take a stroll through the "accessories" sub-forum.
Your options are:
1. Case
2. Insurance (ripoff)
3. Spending your weekends/afternoons on iFixit taking untold years off of your life installing what you hope to be a working screen from what you hope was a legit parts retailer
4. Getting extremely friendly with the customer service reps (read: hand jobs)
5. None of the above, just post on XDA each time you break your phone so you magically get a new one (works surprisingly well)

My Sapphire glass watch was still crackable.

Glass is glass. Doesn't matter if it has gorilla or elephant or bear stamped before it. If you drop it hard enough, it will break. So either get a case, try to be less clumsy, or live with the risk of it breaking.

Since that site also lists a metal "Sigen" NeoHybrid, I'm going to call their products fake. The prices are outrageous for fakes too.

Why would you pay $60 for that case? And the damn thing looks just like my neo hybrid from spigen. Like the poster above me said, fake!

That thing is gonna destroy your signal. Aluminum back plates kill it, it will be even worse with full sides as well.

I know this case... This seller did not produce or design it themselves. The simply bulk ordered from China and asked the factory to print their logo on the case.
I'll post a link to the sgs3 equivalent which I've had my eye on for half a year but was worried about the signal depreciation issues.

Thinking of buying this case. Has anyone been able to get their hands on one yet? I want to make sure it doesn't have a cell reception problem.
I have heard that the Galaxy Note 2 version of this case had reception issues due to the metal causing interference.
If someone can reply, that would be great. I want to make sure I don't waste the $80+

Yeah this case looks great but I'm not willing to risk issues with reception with a $60 case

Those covers ar nice but if you ever use NFC, Android beam, or S-Beam it blocks those fuctions. Cant penetrate through the aluminum, but if you dont use it, they always improve on the phones looks.
