any armbands

Has anyone bought armbands....cant find them anywhere...only tiny ones for freakin iphones!

I was just about to make a thread about this! I just started jogging and my sports bra isn't a good replacement for an armband!

Thats cause sportsbras were meant to wear on chest not on arm..duh

DIY one using an old tube sock

I don't have my HOX yet, but I will this weekend. Coming from a captivate and a MyTouch 3G, the only arm band that was worth anything is the TuneBelt. They make them for different screen sizes, not individual phones. I believe their AB86 model should fit the HOX. They also sell an extender for people with large biceps, so you don't have to worry if you get it and it's too small for your arm.

Agreed. This one is sufficient. I haven't been able to find any others that work/fit to the degree that this one does. Haven't tried the tube sock idea. There was definitely another thread somewhere in these forums with the same question, but i dont recall much resolution coming at the time it was posted, but that's where I initially saw the tube sock idea...

This one here looks good, and it's cheap. I think I'll go with this one soon.

I tired the tube sock idea yesterday and it just wasn't up to par... When I would sprint the sock would slide down my arm even though it was still tight.): I guess I'll have to shell out some money for a real armband.

Dunno If getting the ab86 or the ab85, the last seems to fit the otterbox cases and I have the incipio silicrylic... If anyone have one of this and can tell if the ab86 is enough or really need the ab85.

I actually have the AB83 and it was for my captivate in its case, but it also fits the HOX without anything on it. It is a tight fit but it works enough to not have to upgrade to another armband.

Gorilla Glass 3 will still be glass and if you are excessively abusive, the glass will break.

I'm busy and drop my phone during my daily commutes.

Busy doesn't mean you need to drop it... Maybe get a case if you drop it a lot?

I hate cases. Makes the phone bulky and unaesthetic. It wouldn't do my phone justice.

Doubt the 3rd generation glass will offer any major shatter-proof features over the original GG. New technology does not balance out user error.

As fantastic as Samsung phones are, this thing isn't winning any beauty contests. Outside of the screen, it's plastic. EVERYWHERE. There are some pretty slim cases out there, just take a stroll through the "accessories" sub-forum.
Your options are:
1. Case
2. Insurance (ripoff)
3. Spending your weekends/afternoons on iFixit taking untold years off of your life installing what you hope to be a working screen from what you hope was a legit parts retailer
4. Getting extremely friendly with the customer service reps (read: hand jobs)
5. None of the above, just post on XDA each time you break your phone so you magically get a new one (works surprisingly well)

My Sapphire glass watch was still crackable.

Glass is glass. Doesn't matter if it has gorilla or elephant or bear stamped before it. If you drop it hard enough, it will break. So either get a case, try to be less clumsy, or live with the risk of it breaking.

Those covers ar nice but if you ever use NFC, Android beam, or S-Beam it blocks those fuctions. Cant penetrate through the aluminum, but if you dont use it, they always improve on the phones looks.

Krystal Genuine Sapphire Screen Protector for Nexus 4

Recently XGear recently their Krystal Genuine Sapphire Screen Protector for the Iphone 4 and 5.

What I would like to see is that they will also create this screen protector for the Nexus 4. The fact that XGear has already made certain protectors for the Nexus 4 makes them an excellent developer for this amazing screen protector.

let us know when u get it how it feels on the phone and maybe some pictures. I was reading about their Holy Grail Series and seems to be really good since it says its rated A9 in Mohs scale with A10 being diamond. I wan't to buy it but I'm afraid of how it plays with bumpers or cases like the Ringke Fusion.

I was wondering this same thing. I know there is no for sale forum, would a case trade thread be allowed?
Im sure traders have to take responsibility if something goes wrong, since the mods will not want to have to deal with dishonest people.

The best way I can think of doing it is to pay each other a set amount through PayPal. That way both members are protected. Like in my case if I trade for the uag, we both pay each other $15. Then we are only out slight PayPal fees and shipping, which should be very cheap on cases.

I have two Iskin Cases for trade(Claro and Exxo) and a Qmadix S series. Interested in home button stickers or slim case.
