If you ever run into an md5 mismatch error when trying to restore a backup, you could try the following
Using Terminal Emulator: (mind spaces)
# cd /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/backup-name-goes-here
# rm nandroid.md5
# md5sum *img > nandroid.md5
Normally wipe the stuff you do before installing a rom
if it works (it did for me 1ce) it'll probably only work once for a particular nandroid...

backup is still original no any application ... but is there a super user

sorry if there are errors .... hehehe

That won't work on stock ROM's
Use MiniTool partition manager on your computer for partitioning your SD card (use Fat32) of course via USB or card reader.
Insert SD card in your droid.
Open link2SD,
And try with fat32 or ext2 script.
It should work, if it doesn't precise yourself !
Don't forget to hit thanks if I helped you.

[Q] SD-EXT problem

Hi
I have a problem with mount the SD-EXT
I have a 4 GB Micro sd with a 1024 mb EXT when I will mount the EXT He show Error mounting sd-ext
Everyone can help help me PLS
mfg Niklas
Try to repartition it again, via recovery and give it some different size(the size great like this but......... give it a try), keep in mind that your stuff on the whole sd will be wiped, not only on ext.

Install yannou90 recovery. It's somewhere in development thread. It supports ext 2,3,4 very well. I too had this problem earlier when I was using Cwm

If I update lets say CM9 build#9 to build#11, WITHOUT wiping anything. Would I still be losing my apps and everything stored on ext partition?
If I would, then would you recommend anyway around this so as NOT to lose all the games and apps I have installed. Its already around 500mb and will really suck to search for and download each and everything all over again. And already asked in CM9 thread but didnt get much of a response :/

Well I think you may not lose...
Depends on what script you're using.....you'll have to copy that script and it's configurations before flashing to sdcard and then copy it back to original position...
I've just tried it from cm 9 11 to mini cm9..on m2sd..
Copy init.d /10mounts2SD to sdcard then after flashing new build... copy that file back... to system.etc.initd
The configurations file in this case would be data/m2sd folder.. you'll have to copy that as well ,if you wipe data..
All these things should be done in recovery after flashing build and gapps (using aroma file manager)

---------- Post added at 05:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:46 PM ----------
And don't forget to chmod 777 the init.d file

You can't flash it without wiping everything. That'll cause force close issues. Try the following, since you're on the same CM 9.1:
Wipe System in TWRP recovery.
Then Flash your new Rom.
Also follow what ptcpayme told about saving the script.
Hope it helps! Can't guarantee you that it works. Worked for me though.

link2sd

i got cm9.1 built 9.. and im using link2sd on that.. i created autolink.. but apps are still occuping space in the internal memory..even its showing linked to sd also in link2sd app.. how to change it to 2nd partition??
PS. i got FAT32 patition..
Apps will leave icons in internal memory. You have to create link & link all three files to SD card.
Linked->Sdcard means all the files of that particular app have been moved to SD 2nd partition.
If you find internal memory is getting unusually full where as you have maximum apps in 2nd partition, then wait for a while for the link2sd to load completely. Your problem will be resolved.
Sent from my HTC Explorer A310e using XDA Premium HD app
just download m2sd no config and flash it reboot twice but do check to remove link2sd after a deleting file named install-recovery.sh and you will be happy

Hey, then what is internal memory.
Sent from my HTC Explorer A310e using Tapatalk 2
Internal memory is phone's own storage space. We use sd 2nd partition to increase it using scripts like link2sd, apps2sd or mount2sd.

USB Mode when have using mount2sd?
Sorry for such a noob question but can we connect the device using usb mode to transfer files, etc after having applied these scripts like mount2sd,link2sd,etc?

Yes, it seems much better. Internal memory (158mb) has been configured as sd-ext. And sd 2nd partition has been configured as internal memory. Mount2sd handles data more efficiently.
See the screenshots...
