Available at all SAMSUNG MOBILE SERVICE CENTERS across INDIA..
they will be packed in transparent plastic box...PRINTED MADE IN SEOUL, KOREA..
with a secure tape(dont buy if tampered)
REST ALL OTHERS ARE FAKE(CHINESE OR JAPANESE) in south asia ,,
Original batteries last longer than fake ones.. :victory:
Samsung Galaxy Fit batteries cost rs.600 (DEC 2012)..
Charging ur battery
After draining ur battery for the first time charge it to 100% in off condition....
charging will take 5 hours to gain 100% battery status( it itself shows)....
then charging takes approx. 4 hours to reach 100%...
charge your smartphone in off condition .. it prolongs battery life....
try to charge from ~0 to !00% and not from 40,50, ..,70,or 80,
I hope this helps...
DONOT FALL FOR FAKE OR SCAMSTERS...AS FAKE ONE HV SHORT LIFE AND CAN BE DANGEROUS...
playing games
Java games will consume less power so you can play for a lng period of time....
mx player drains battery very fast instead use rockplayer...
disable gps or google verificatiion or ads to save battery....
opera mini fastest browser available for our device(G-fit)..will save time and energy over stock browers which take longer time to load a page....
live animations also drain battery .. so even if you wanna want a live wallpaper there are apps available which convert gifs to live wallpaper.. (tip: use gif of small resolution i personally made a gif of wwe raw old theme and it doesn't drain my battery)...:good:
active applications can be and should be stopped or killed ffrom time to time to save battery... u can stop by going into settings or u can install task manager... it is plain and simple app which will kill all the background running apps.. this will save batt....
hope this will help....

Wrong
You usually won't have any active apps if you use back button (or in app exit buttons)
The rest of the applications usually will get auto started by service which require them for functioning. So stopping these apps will force them to restart the app services again, which WILL drain battery.
You'd be better off freezing/uninstalling such apps rather than killing them every 15 minutes.
background running apps?
so we should free all those installed apps which auto starts in background (eg: vplayer)..

To know exact level of your battery you can wipe battery status and to properly charging to reach exact 100% charge your device in OFF condition...( while in ON condition it shows 100% but doesnt have reached there)....charge in cycles(0-100 or 10-100%)..........:fingers-crossed:

Maybe a Powerful Charger ?
First I doubt is the port since it will charge when off. So first, are you using the sick charger, are you plugged into the wall or a computer. Also are you bad battery drain when unplugged? I would think you should go back to stock and see of it fixes it

From your description it sounds like a rogue app causing a bad drain which is causing both the show charge and fast drain. So like I said get better battery stat and let's see what the app is.

This seems to be a common problem. I think the consensus is a corrupt file in your SD card. So you need to backup your external SD card and format it.

It seems that your phone isn't sleeping correctly. Have u used the phone at all in the duration of the dump file?
Your phone is not rooted, am I right? If it is rooted turn in the alarms in the better battery stats settings.
I would suggest:
- get rid of any battery saver and task killer
- disable location service

Hi, I'm bumping this one.
I have the same problem. Tried Battery Calibration but 100% shows 4mV and 5 mins later is 64% and 3mV.
Can you explain this solution in deep, please? When you say "wipe everything" you mean getting into Recovery Mode and wiping Dalvik and whatnot? I'm not sure what ICS is either.
Thanks a lot!

Well
The stock GB ROM always showed me 3mv/4mv in battery stats
Other ROMs viz. CM7/9/10 always showed me something on 3xxx/4xxx
Also try doing this
Discharge completely
(After phone auto-shutdowns keep switching it on until it refuses to boot)
*** Try only on ROMs with offline charging ***
Then charge it to 100% and use the NOBOL method by zepperlinox (No battery on logo method )

Hi,
I'm having the same problem with a (new) battery that I've used for 3 months. Even tho it shows thats charged (sometimes as much as 90%), the phone will randomly turn off. Battery Calibration app reads only 3mv for some reason. With my other battery the phone runs perfectly normal (even tho with a big discharge rate since the battery is like over 3 years old).
To perform this, do i really need to install ICS? I'm currently using GingerBlurB V5 (CM7) and I don't want to backup/restore etc

let me give some advice..
1. go to recovery mode / CWM then wipe battery stats, then reboot.
2. calibrate the battery while the phone is on, i ussually use Mugen Power App ( install app, then choose the standard battery, charge until 100% then click on the Calibrate).
hope it helps.
From last two weeks i am facing sudden battery drop. When i charge my phone it charges upto 100% and then when i reboot it shows only 14-15% and also my battery work only for 1-2 hour.
I rooted my phone also because of this problem. And then used battery caliberation. But nothing helped. So after all this I come to xda forum again for helping me. Please help me.
