So What do i do now .. New Phone or is there away this can be Fix
Maybe a Powerful Charger ?
First I doubt is the port since it will charge when off. So first, are you using the sick charger, are you plugged into the wall or a computer. Also are you bad battery drain when unplugged? I would think you should go back to stock and see of it fixes it

The stock one is plenty. What he is saying is that it went bad. Try another charger and see if it works. Any micro USB charger will work.

From your description it sounds like a rogue app causing a bad drain which is causing both the show charge and fast drain. So like I said get better battery stat and let's see what the app is.

This seems to be a common problem. I think the consensus is a corrupt file in your SD card. So you need to backup your external SD card and format it.

Quite possibly a bad battery. Your battery shouldn't drain when the phone is off.

Does it drain when the battery is removed from the phone?
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA App
you should download a cm7 nightly my battery lasted from 10pm - 9am with 30% than i put it to charge
You can either do a factory reset or NVFlash CWM and flash a ROM to see if that fixes things. If not, then defective battery.
What these guys are saying is most likely, especially with that kind of drain. But also make sure you don't have any crummy apps, it apps that run when your phones off. Ex. Some weather apps run in the background and draindrain

You guys. He said that his phone was OFF while the battery lost its juice. It has NOTHING to do with what ROM, KERNEL etc etc he is using. Now for the op; simply just get a new battery and check if the problem persists.

Try the same test with the battery completely removed.
If it doesn't drain that fast - Then the phone is not shutting down properly, and most likely is the result of a nasty app.
If it does still drain that fast - Then the battery is probably faulty.

In your original post when you said you turn the phone off at night, you do mean actually turning it off right? Like shutting it down and not just turning the screen off, right? Just making sure we're all on the same page. If the phone is powered down then it can't be an app because apps can only run when you're booted into Android.

Then its the battery. I had the problem with my g1. I would load the maps and use gps. It would say my battery is around 70% then after like 5mins the phone would get hot and then it would say i was at 30% or lower. Swap out for a new battery and it didnt do that anymore.
My g2x is kinda doing the same thing. But its a little slower. I turn the phone on in the morning 100% battery. Then use it for about an hr. (95-80%battery) put it in my pocket. Then about 2hrs later it at 40-35%. And the phone feels warm.
Also check your battery to see if it had a lump on it. If so then its a bad battery and needs to be replaced asap.
I ordered a replacement on ebay should be here by next weekend. Only $4

I had a problem like this and still do at times. Part of it was the stock kernel I was running and the other part was the fact that the phone was not fully going into the low power state it was supposed to. I now only loose about 5 to 7% in the worst cases. That is better than the 20 to 30% I was loosing before.
My phone's battery indicator always remain at 100% regardless of rom. I flashed rooted stock froyo, gingerbread, cm7, cm10.1, weapong2x, mokeos, unrooted stock, literarily everything yet the battery stays at 100%. I tried wiping battery stats in cwm, using battery calibration app, everything! Please help! :banghead:

What do you need help with? I solved this by reflashing but also by flashing other roms and tried which worked. Only temasek's rom and cm7 worked for me
I'll make it the short version:
Decided to test some of the nice Rom's on this forum a couple a weeks ago.
Spend several hour's reading different threads and Felt ready to go on.
After trying out some rom's (and some bricks ) I noticed that the battery won't charge and that's my problem now.
I've tried all I can come up to. Going back to stock GB via Xbsall's Resurrection Guide. Flash a dozen of other
roms. Changed the bootloaders, you name it.
Is there any help out there???

Yes i've tried that. No change.
I have also tried with 2 different batteries but the same.
When I'm on GB the phone loads up to 4% but no more. On ICS the battery never goes up to more than 1%.
I have figured out than when I enter the hidden menu (3845#*920#) and port setting, choose CP USB the battery indicates 100% constantly and operating normally (camera works ex.) until the phone dies.

Yeah calibrate the battery and see what happens. There's an app in the play store for it but I think you may need root. If that doesn't work than you need to replace the battery.

Try different charger eg connect micro usb on laptop and leave it charge. From time to time it's good you leave battery to "sinchronize" and leave it charging for 7-8 hours.
Maybe it's rom dependent to. Check which apps are running in background, close unneeded, disable wifi, BT and so on. Which ROM do you use?
If you have root access then try greenify. First see what exactly is consuming you battery unnecessarily and then greenify those apps.
You can also try one power guard. It actually saves battery in my opinion.

Then you can try snapdragon batteryguru. I used to use this app before I rooted my one s. I don't think it has much effect but no harm in trying. It basically reduces the app refresh time based on your usage so that much battery is saved. It will learn your usage habits for 2 days.
You may also consider rooting your device.

What do you think about this maximus hd rom ??
Sent from my HTC One S using xda app-developers app
I suggest switching to an AOSP ROM, preferably CyanogenMod 11 since it's pretty stable. I was extremely unimpressed with the battery life on the stock ROM and decided to try a custom ROM. I'd never go back now. The battery life alone has proved to me that AOSP is better than Sense. Sense is bloated.
If you didn't try yet then try to empty the battery 3 times fully and always full recharge (make sure that the phone dies by itself).
For it was happening that the the battery was emptying down to few percent very fast (e.g. normal use 16hours) but when it was at 1 percent I could watch YouTube for 20min before the phone died.

also you can try BetterBatteryStats and you can see which app is draining your battery.
Catch it before it runs away from home!!
Just a joke. On a serious note..consider replacing battery
install an app called Wakelock Detector.
it's possible that you have an app installed that keeps waking up the device when not in use.
Wakelock Detector will tell you what app is doing that.
