Liquid's computer took a dive, but as you can see he finally got back up and running and has been working hard on the D2 for the last week. This build is SOLID - he's worked extremely hard and the RIL issues are a thing of the past, hardware all works - including camera and BT - and it's smooth as silk.
So have at it! It's a beta, so there are still some features that are missing/may change, and there could be a few bugs that we would love to hear about, but we're very proud of this build. If you can, please donate to show Liquid your support. He spends just about all of his time on this!

Looks awesome! Gonna try it out later

So I take it this wasn't part of the site that got infected?

What recovery do you recommend to use? I was using cm10.1 and it was creating a ton of folders and sub folders on the sd when flashing.

Downloading as this Is being typed lol....glad to see em back

I would like to try Liquid Smooth again, but I have to know, has the problem with the battery charging light and overall notification light not working been fixed?

anyone try justin860's inverted 4.2 apps with this yet?

Is there a specific Radio we should be using for this?

I have always known radios being separate from the rom.

True but some modem/radios seem work better on some roms..Just a question..
Bleeds

okay so i previously flashed the unofficial cm 10.1 and want to delete the 0 folder but its saying its write protected... how do i remove this folder? it has literally nothing in it but other empty folders

Use something like root explorer and put it in R/W mode. That should get rid of it
Sent from one of the many Anthropomorphic Personalities on the Disc

Charging and notification lights are functional.
What are you using to delete the "0" folder? Root explorer or ES with root permissions (configured in settings) should do the trick.
Flashing from 4.1.2 to 4.2 should not result in the 0 folder being created anymore. At least not on mine. Didn't need to move or delete anything.
If for some reason you lose mobile data, just turn mobile data of and on from the settings menu and it should come back. It's only happened to me once, though. The 4.2 RIL will mature over time, and it's a hell of a lot better than it was already.

Just went through the bugs report page and didn't see anything specific to the d2vzw, what are the current bugs as small as they may be? I still love liquid smooth ROMs and plan on flashing. Thanks for the responses ahead of time.

When i have my phone connected to my PC with USB cable i can get to internal memory but no folders are shown. 0 items. if i use root explorer everything is listed under the root of the but in CWM it is all under the 0 folder??? Change it from MTP or PTP and back has no effect. i have it on MTP

GPS seems good. Low volume recording still present.
Anyone know how to get on screen keys? I tried setting dpi to 213 and 160 but they did not give me on screen keys....Maybe need to add a line in build prop?

flash and you tell us. this is brand new and so is the device tree, so the bugs will be different from 4.1.2.

We haven't built it into the rom yet, though I imagine that setting will work its way back in. There's probably a way to activate them manually I'm not aware of.

I'd also like to help but no computer, if there's anything I can do like test, let me know. I'd like to see sense on Droid. Even better when its done it gets themed. The mytouch 3g had ported over to my Eris when I had it had nice themeing.

Awesome! I was bummed that they cancelled the Zeusdroid project, especially all of the support and donations that poured in. I just wish they would release their work to benefit everyone else.
i hate that as well
hopefully this project will not be cancelled

[APP-Kernels] Kernel Manager released!

Kernel Manager released! Lite (free): http://tinyw.in/0i8, Pro (cost): Available in the Market...ENJOY!
Hey everyone! I wanted to introduce a new app with a very simple but ambitious goal: create a place where all kernel developers can submit kernels easily and reach a much wider audience with ease.
The app currently does this:
1) Downloads a kernel from our fast and stable teamwin server
2) Unzips the relevant files (modules included)
3) Flashes the kernel
4) Installs the kernel modules
5) Clears cache/dalvik-cache
6) Reboots to apply the changes.
This entire process takes less than a minute, generally, (depending on download speeds of course ), and it is extremely simple for end-users to find a kernel, filter by kernel features (BFS, CFS, HAVS, SBC, etc) download/install kernels, and submit ratings for their favorite kernels.
If you use IRC, join us in freenode in #kernel-manager!
In order for this to be a success, we need support from kernel developers like YOU! Submitting a kernel to Kernel Manager is totally free and we even provide hosting for you! Right now I'm looking for kernel developers to submit kernels to start populating the app. Submitting kernels is easy!
THE LINK IS FOR KERNEL DEVELOPERS SPECIFICALLY! Go to http://kernels.teamw.in and register for an account! Once it's approved, you can easily enter new kernels, which immediately show up in the app. The app will be released in the market, and there will be a free+ad supported version, and a for-cost version that removes the ads.
Right now, we have a specific list of supported phones, but plan to add every nand-unlocked phone as soon as possible. (There are a lot of variables to account for on multiple devices to make sure the process works )
Please feel free to provide me with any feedback you have, or feature requests in order to make this a great tool for all of android to utilize!

You guys are awesome on xda. App works perfectly.
Started a kernel flash - during the download, I switched from 3G to WiFi. It didn't like that! Download froze. Phone locked. Just had to push power button until screen off, then power button on to get phone back. From Manage Applications, did a a clear data, clear cache, force close. Tried to run it again (saw that download count was up by one) and it immediately went into unzip. That ran a bit with nothing happening, so I killed it again. Looked on my sd card and found the kernel zip; it was only a couple of hundred kb. in size. Deleted it, ran it again; everything ran smooth (and download count went up by another one.)

Yeah sorry about that - I am going to fix the downloader so it doesn't flip out and break if/when you lose your data connection.

Minor issue: KM Lite won't register my vote. I'm trying to rate x99's AOSP kernel a 5 but it takes the vote but the counter won't go up. Still shows only one person has voted.

It actually does - if you exit the app and re-start it, it will have the correct info (including your vote).
I will fix this in the next release, but it was a minor display bug.

FYI: It's still showing just 1 vote for x99's CM7 kernel. I've exited the app plenty of times, rebooted, etc. I've even bought the Pro KM and it still just shows the 1 vote.

BBQLog is the best official CyanogenMod Log around! Browse the changes online at http://changelog.bbqdroid.org/ or right from this app!
Get the changes for all CyanogenMod-enabled devices, and check all the latest nightlies available!
All devices with official nightlies are supported.
This changelog is better than the older ones because this uses the github api to get changes rather than gerrit. Gerrit does not include upstream merges in the log so you could miss very important features (such as themes engine, 4.0.4, kernel changes, that have all been upstream merges).
The source is available at https://github.com/BBQDroid/BBQLog
BTW, there is an easter egg
Features :
- List nightlies for all devices
- List all CyanogenMod changes
- List devices' next nightlies changes
- List devices' specific nightly changes
- Tablet and phone UI!
Latest Version: 1.1.2
IMPORTANT : If you are having issues with the app in certain devices, please upload the LogCat as dev would like to review and update with the fixes. Thank you

Nice, but it crashed when i selected LGE "optimus 2x" / P990.
Report sended after crashed ;-)
Keep up the good work !
Hi,
Great app, thanks guys!!
Would like to request a feature though please. Can you set it up so clicking on a change takes you to the relevany page on Github, like the web version of BBQ Log does.
Question: Take the HTC Desire (bravo GSM), this has no CM9 nightly build.
The latest edition to Desire is cm-7-20120617-NIGHTLY-bravo.zip and not the changes that is listed in changelog.bbqdroid.org/#bravo/cm9/next
Perhaps there should be a way to specify this?
First impressions;
I agree with the post above that tapping a change should take us to github
Also I've notice, using the website if there have been no changes since the last nightly when viewing "next nightly" the site will say so. The app on the other hand shows a loading spinner and sits there looking like its eventually going to do something.
And last, I'm not a huge fan of the current device selection method. Tiny bar up top to scroll between manufacturers is a bit ungraceful. I know its a common theme for apps to have this type of look, but its associated with "tabs" in a program not to narrow results from a list.
I'm glad to see this app and I love the website keep up the good work.
Edit
Also download links would be cool (or just some way to go to the download page from the app)
Sent from my SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2
ty so much!! looking for easter egg as we speak...
We'll be cleaning up and enhancing the app starting next week. Hopefully we will sort out the remaining bugs and crashes (that seems to be happening only on Gingerbread!).
We might also drop CM7 support completely.
We'll be adding also:
- GitHub links
- Direct download of a nightly (and eventually automatic flashing through CWM)
- New nightly notification
And a few various features.
Last, we're thinking about distributing a paid version with other features and no ads.
Oh, and there is no easter egg in this current version... But who knows about the future?

Logcat, logcat, logcat. We can't fix it if you just tell "it crashes!"
We have tested them on a few devices ranging from Asus tablets to various Samsung phones and we can't reproduce those crashes.
So in order to fix it, please give us the error message in logcat when it crashes, thanks
Seems some members are having issues with crashes. Can you please upload the logcat here, would really appreciate it. Thank you!
We found the bug and the fix just got pushed on the Play Store. Please allow a few hours until it appears on your device.

1Hello, the app was working fine last night but I upgraded to 1.0.5 this morning and now the app won't even open, it just crashes... I'm on an EVO 4G LTE.
On a side note, is it safe to post a logcat publicly? I it seems like there would be sensitive info in there. Or is it better to email that info?
Update: just upgraded to 1.0.6 and app still won't open.

Call for help!
I want to start an android project to support most of the old and outdated devices. But for that I'm going to need some help.
Android developers who know their code and can write up new features or fix existing bugs.
Talented themers who have an eye for the beautiful and can design some nice UIs
Kernel developers who can read and write code that is pretty much a foreign language for me.
If you think you fit into one (or more) of these categories please contact me (PM, email, twitter, snail mail, etc) and together we shall rule the android world. You will be greatly rewarded for your efforts. Anything I get from developing this thing (which is pretty much nothing) I shall share with you. Kings will envy our wealth and popularity!
But seriously now. Don't be shy and contact me. It could be a great project for some old phones.
You area a wonderful man popdog

For the launcher, you may have to pull trebuchet from cm10, or ask nova or apex if you can include their ICS launcher as a prebuilt. I'd be glad to help out, but I don't have the optimus 1, just the optimus V.

i will try today
Watch out, popdog is attracting all the talented devs to the dark side, and they will rule the android world by making people buy lower end devices that are cheap and good, up-to-date (actually, O1 is still on eMag.ro)
Watch out for the sith (lol android doesn't have this word, it autocorrects)
Don't let Galaxy S3 users find out!!!
But this is great work, thank you for continuing your work

Well so far I've moved my repos to a github organization, made an irc chatroom, google code for holding downloads and a little blog for documenting the whole process. I'll explain more about it in the weekend.
Please spread the word about this. Together we can make better roms for these devices.
In the meantime enjoy this rom. I'm using it for 2 days now and aside from the issues i've posted I can't say anything bad about it.

Well so far I've moved my repos to a github organization, made an irc chatroom, google code for holding downloads and a little blog for documenting the whole process. I'll explain more about it in the weekend.

where is this github at?
It would be great if this word gets to the top devs of other devices like Gio, Ace, Blade, Mini, X8 etc. Anybody having contacts?
Can always count on popdog123 to bring something different to the game. Will keep an eye on this one, thanks dude :good:
It will be good if the blog that podog has made will have tutorials for newbie users too. And yes...could you provide with us with a link to the blog. I could also help you with that newbie tutorials . If you can make that in time you'll have more support.
Alright... tomorrow i'll send you everyone who was interested in this project a PM on XDA.
The sources for the AOSP build are on the project Github.
Even though the developer turnout was not as great as I expected, we can still make a great project!

This build will effectively be turned from i337M to i337 once the AT&T bootloader is (publicly) unlocked. This is what we've done w/ our d2att-d2tmo build (it's for d2att, d2tmo & d2can respectively), except this time tmo gets their own build.
Also if anybody is actually running the latest CM nightly, could you confirm that reboot is indeed working under all circumstances? I'm able to reboot fine but no dice when plugged in charging.
This is awesome blk_jack!! Am going to flash soon!
Guys, I have been enjoying blk_jack's builds since my Desire Z days...without a doubt, he is one of the top dev's here. We are in for a treat with this one....
Oooo. Gonna try on my rogers i337m
Thank you!!

So far smooth as butter! Screen resolution makes everything so tiny though.

Mine just rebooted fine while plugged into the wall charger on 20130510.
And on usb into computer... worked fine too.
Not sure if usb debugging would change anything
Edit: nevermind, just tried with developer settings on and off, no difference.
All works fine here ^^
cannot wait for the bootloader to be unlocked at the end of the month! Hard to watch the days go by so slowly...slimbean is one of my favorite ROMs...
All seems to be great for beta release. Much appreciated. Keep up the great work
Great Beta Rom!!! No complaints... thanks

I've been using this all day. Battery life is fantastic. Great work!!! One minor bug, when I connect by Bluetooth to the car, no issues. However, when I receive a call and answer, I cannot hear the person calling me and they cannot hear me. When I disconnect the Bluetooth, everything is working again. Thanks.
In call bluetooth and headset were the only things I haven't been able to test myself. Will test with a bluetooth transmitter tomorrow though and report back.
Also I too have had fantastic battery life. Looks like about an hour extra screen on time over my s3.
