Clear market data
Remove old market
Install this with root explorer and set perms to rwrr
Then, change your LCD density in build.prop
Reboot
Go into market
Accept new terms.

240 Dpi for Stock ICS (LQ3)

Hello, anyone know if there is a possibility to apply the 240 DPI resolution on a Stock ICS LQ3 for my Note?
I've tried yet Apk as LCD Resolution or DPI Changer but no one of these works properly after reboot (i also had boot-loop)

Try to write 2 lcddestiny values with Root Explorer at /system/build.prop
This is 100% safe and working method.

It's not dpi its ppi

I did it with ROM Toolbox, worked flawlessly on Stock ICS LPY.

Rom toolbox lite worked on LQ3 on Cassies Xtra lite rom v. 4

At 240 dpi TouchWiz Home get FC

I had the same issue until I used Rom Toolbox. That worked. I assume you have root as you need it to change the build.prop file.

lol in my case it's the shutdown animation that doean't work , how do you turn off your device ? with button off or through the ShutDownAnimation app ? (this app doesn't appear in my launcher nor in link2sd !!) i attached a modified version for those who doesn't have working bootanimation (optimized size)
EDIT : another version with loop and fade added ! attention this one is not a flashable zip , just rename to bootanimation.zip and place in /system/media/ then set correct permissions

Instructions: open LGSystemUI.apk in .zip archive. the path res / drawable-xxhdpi throw picture 1440 x 2560 with name fon_bg.png, Not rename from .jpg to .png!! The picture altered in photo editor from .jpg to .png!!
close the archive.
Now LGSystemUI.apk move in /system, rw-r-r, and move in system/priv-app. Delete LGSystemUI.odex, reboot
