The AOKP ROM on root wiki is a preview build that probably isn't daily driver material just yet. Here's a link to the thread: http://rootzwiki.com/topic/31679-official-aokp-d2vzw-421-preview-builds/

Well I wouldn't say everything. I still get random screen flickers that might freak out non geeks.
OP: From verizon? Who knows..the international version hasn't even gotten it. No phone has gotten it besides the Nexus.

In the development section, Liquid has 4.2 betas available and many people are already using them as their daily drivers.

cm10 nightlies

Hello all. This is compiled from cm10 sources. I will be posting new builds as I feel. My captivate's micro usb port does not work and my battery charger stopped working. So I won't be working on this at all, just gonna be compiling straight from cyanogenmods sources. If I can get another captivate or another battery charger. I will be working on this more. But for now just nightllies.

The date in the build is incorrect. It should be 20120718
Great. I know it would be much stable as soon as Nexus S OTA released tomorrow, and I hope you keep updating this thread. Thanks for supporting cappy community.

I am currently running unofficial cm10 v3 and I didn't know this existed. Does this have data/data partition and what kernel are you using?

Clean ROM.

I guess it depends on what your definition of "stock" is. If you prefer the so called "pure android experience" then I suggest trying CM10.

I agree, CM is squeaky clean!

If want TouchWiz stock either Scott's Cleanrom or Beans totally stock deodexed. While waiting on Synergy I'm currently running Beans w/Kindacrap mods and Ziggy's latest kernel @1.72/384. Smooth stable and everything works. With all the inverted apps and Moto's International theme it looks good and Quads @ 6500.
Yeah I was liking for a pure experience like on my nexus 7.

Go for it. You get same experience with better hardware. Can you tell the difference. Only you can tell.
I agree. I am running a nightly of cm 10.1 and everything seems to be Woking fine that I have noticed.

That is why we have hundreds of borked CM10.1 phones in the Q&A that belong in the CM10.1 rom thread.

Anyone have a cm9 rom?

i never tried out cm9 and i was wondering does anyone have a cm9 rom i can download? I'm quite aware that it's no where near as fast as 4.2.2 roms but i used it alot in my inc2 days and wanna go back to it for a little bit
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
pretty certain cm9 never came to the S3. at least on this forum. there might be other builds elsewhere though.
I thought it did because I saw a thing on droid-life about it awhile back
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
Why do you want to try cm9. I used it on a nook tablet and droid incredible and hated it. Always seemed like a huge battery drain. I honestly don't remember seeing a cm9 build for the Verizon s3.

Uses the kexec method that we were using before the unlocked bootloader. Most peripherals probably do not work. Flash at your own risk.

Don't know what everyone else is talking about but I ran CM9 fine, specifically AOKP based on it.

[ROM] Slimbean 4.3 stable?

I'm running SlimBean 4.3 20130905, and I have to say it is absolutely amazing. Aside from the camera crashing I haven't a single issue with this build. It is PERFECT. I couldn't ask for better performance in a ROM.
With that being said, has anyone any information on a stable or current build release date, or is there one floating around the internet somewhere?
Possibly even a camera fix that I've missed?
I have scoured XDA, tore Google a new one and navigated the entire Slimbean website and Nada...
The galaxy blaze isn't listed under their supported devices so I'm left to assume it's a port.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!!

Does speaker calling work on the slim bean rom you're running? I'm using liquid smooth 4.3 and besides the other obvious problems like camera, I lose the Mic when I put a call on speaker. Or is this just a 4.3 wide problem?

I actually found some current slimbean 4.3 builds last night in the off topic thread if you wanna search through it. They are for the i577 exhilierate though so you gotta do some tweaks to make it work properly.

this is NOT and i repeat NOT an alpha or beta of pa in any way!!!! he just tried to do an unofficial build and was pleased from the pa devs to should it down and remove the post from xda!! the post on xda is allready closed by a mod after mysterious published the pmof an pa dev.
mysterious just love pa but please keep in mind, that his build is not official or unofficial supported by the pa team.
please go to the pa g+ page and inform yourself about the current status of pa.
