Hey, i was searching for the answer for 5 days, i'm desperate now. Maybe anyone can help me. So the problem is that I didnt installed CWM after I instaled new rom, It's xperia ultimate HD 2.0.2 the problem coused poweramp now when i power it on it says optimising apps and takes forever, I'm kind a new in these things. Is there any way to instal cwm from computer? without recovery it's imposible to install new rom yes? help me please what should i do?

i just cant get into the recovery menu. what am i doing wrong?
I just bought my x10i firmware 2.1-update1
2.0.A.0.504.
i Rooted my phone using the new superoneclick.
installed busybox succesfully
installed xrecovery succesfully.
tried 100 times pressinf the back button 3 times on the SE LOGO.
But it freezes on the logo screen or it just boots up the phone.
I even tried the method to install the 3 files into the bin file.
But after this its the same,

The 1 u posted is X10 mini. I din c before i run it. Now my hp cant boot up anymore.

Now we know for sure, that xRecovery is dangerous if we don't know how to handle it
i havent met any problem entering the xrecovery menu even when i first installed it even though i was a complete noob on android (now i am just noob)
only thing i was doing is that i never pressed the back button only 3 times, i always keep pressing it until i get the xrecovery menu
Yes, keep pressing the back button until you enter the XRecovery menu.
If it still fails then I would revert my phone to the STOCK SE ROM (basically means repairing your phone using Sony Ericsson's PC Companion or Update Service utility), and then use FlashTool to root the device and install Busy Box and XRecovery.
FlashTool is basically an all in one solution and is less painful to use for beginners. Just do a search for it in the XDA forums.

Hey guys i had my phone rooted and with xRecovery and all of the good stuff and with like wolfpacks old Rom, I wanted to reformat my phone and make it clean again with at&t 2.1 firmware after i tried doing it on PC companion... it keep rebooting and rebooting and at first i though it was just installing the update, but now it is just rebooting when the logo pops up it restarts again need help! any ideas?
i think u can go for flashtool easy to find in this forum .daownload it together with the rom + baseband if needed.intruction is all in this forum

I have a SK17i, Xperia Mini Pro. The device has been rooted and recoverymod installed manualy (not installed by clockwork mod as it wasnt possible :s) I flashed a new ROM and now its stuck on Sony Ericsson white logo. Cant even get into recovery menu :s. I know the recovery mod is deffintely installed as I used it to install the new ROM. Please help as this isnt my phone but my mums.

Tried to reboot my phone and only I've got now is the beginning of the boot animation showing Sony Ericsson and after that no response..
I've waited for 30 minutes even to see what happen but no luck.. Tried also to access to CWM one more time but also failed..

Got little stressed but I was able to wipe my device back to stock ROM.

Did you try to follow the installation instructions carefully? and did you make a nandroid backup before you flash the rom so whenever you experience that kind of problem you can restore what you've been backup.
Hello geeks, please help me out wai, I was updating my xperia arc s via OTA and dumsor happened all I could do is watch my run out of battery and go off, when the light was in, I powered my phone on just to see it stuck in a boot loop with xperia on the screen that's all. I flashed it with xpreia flash tool using ICS 4.0.4 since that's the FW version it had before but still it remained in boot loop just as it was before, I then downgraded to gingerbread and still stick in boot loop.Hmmm am worried indeed can someone please help me out? maybe recommend a different software for the flashing cos I Google and all they recommend is the flashtool I had used before. Plsssss Help
