WIll Incipio Feather for LG Optimus G fit Nexus 4 - Nexus 4 Accessories

Will this case fit the Nexus 4?
http://www.incipio.com/cases/smartphone-cases/lg-smartphone-cases/lg-optimus-g-cases/lg-optimus-g-feather-case.html
I had an Incipio on my Galaxy Nexus for almost a year and it protected it quite well...
Unsure whether I should have posted on the Q&A forum but since it is an accessory issue...

No. Although the two have very similar internals, the Optimus G and the Nexus 4 have very different shapes and such form fitting case will definitely not fit the Nexus 4.

Remember the Mofi Pouch

Once again, I just want to remind everyone of the Mofi pouch.
You can see Matias Duarte taking the Nexus 4 out of a Mofi pouch here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=66-4uMQqerA#t=36s
I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this since I've used this pouch ever since I bought my Galaxy Nexus. Bought it twice and will probably buy one more when I order the Nexus 4.
I'm not luckyexpress168, just of fan of the high quality product. Here's his/her store link:

Nice. Been using on my gnex a pouch similar to the original Nexus one pouch but this seems better

I bought that as well when I got my Galaxy Nexus but yes, this is thicker and because N4 is 5mm shorter in length, it should fit better than even the Galaxy Nexus.
Which item are you guys purchasing? I don't see Nexus 4 anywhere.
awesome! I was wondering what case Matias was using! Just ordered the "Kangaroo" version (not because I'm Aussie ) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/36046530...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_3419wt_1397 (This should fit the Nexus 4, Nexus 4 is smaller than the SGS3 except for the thickness)

Are these MoFi pouches totally soft or do they have material that provide firmness? If I am not mistaken, the MoFi pouch seems to be just soft fabric.
(I've been using a leather pouch for the Galaxy Nexus, which provides good protection against edge drops.)

Yes they are completely soft, but from my experience with my HOX they are plenty thick enough to protect the screen when I dropped it. Kind of like a synthetic felt kind of fabric which cleans the screen every time you push/pull your phone from the pouch; quite a tight fit though... headphones never really fit in too well. Still, best pouch I ever owned and much better than a bully case. Had a bright orange one myself, sucker for bright colours hope that helps.
I really, really want a Mofi pouch, but I'm not sure which one I should order! What device is closest to the Nexus 4 in terms of dimensions?
To those that keep their phones in pouches, too you guys put the phone and pidgin your pocket or do you keep both in a bag? Random and weird question, I know. I wear Levis 511 and am curious how you guys carry them

I think a Galaxy Nexus pouch would fit the N4.
The tmobile t989-galaxy s2 case is like 4 mm off height wise, but almost spot on everywhere else.
Specs via phonearena.com
Nexus 4- 133.9 x 68.7 x 9.1 mm
T989- 130 x 69 x 9 mm

I would agree with that statement. If you watch theVerge video where they are talking to Matias, he pulls the Nexus 4 out of the Mofi Pouch. Since i don't think anyone at Google told Mofi about the specific dimensions, and it's not likely that he has a GS3 since he works at Google, my bet is that he used the Mofi Pouch with his Galaxy Nexus and it fit great via the video.

Neoprene sleeve for N4?

Does anyone know of any neoprene sleeves (or it could be neoprone sleeves, idk) for the N4 kinda like the Nexus One came with?? That was by far one of the best accessories and doesn't take away from the sexiness of the phone while still protecting on the go!

Is that what you're looking for? The HTC One X and the Nexus 4 are almost identical in dimensions, so this should fit perfectly.
nice ill check it out! thanks
edit: just bought it, should come with perfect timing to the phone's release! cant wait!
the only thing i worry about is the material, if it will scratch the glass on the phone! i hope not...
The whole point of that case is to protect the screen, I doubt it will scratch the glass unless you have sand inside it

I feel you. lol I get paranoid with my devices.
hey thanks! i've just ordered 2 of these neoprene sleeves.
i also remembered the neoprene sleeve from the N1 and really liked it, hope this will be the same again .
i'll post a quick answer when i got the sleeve and the phone to tell you if they fit it.
I don't like the neoprene sleeves. I have one for my GNex, and it slides in and out way too easily. I much prefer the LEATHER sleeves that came with the G1's.
Also, they have neoprene sleeve for sale one eBay that are advertised for the N4. Not sure if that makes a difference.
Well I think I'll have to run my nexus 4 without protector for a few.days till I can decide on one.

Where I ordered mine from. I used this on the S2 albeit the smaller version & it kept my screen completely scratch free. Not one scratch on the screen before I sold it last week.
So is anyone using a neoprene sleeve for their nexus 4?
Was wondering if this is a good buy. I had the original neoprene for the Nexus One and it protected my baby so well there wasn't one scratch on it.
I'd like the same one for N4

Nexus 4 tpu bumper case?

I have the nexus 4 bumper case, but has anyone had any bad experiences with the product. I have recently brought the bumper case and when I dropped it face down (luckily on carpet) the phone came out of its case and if I'm right on impact this would ruin the screen. But can anyone tell me if its positively durable or feeble.

I have the grey plastic case from google. The materials used feel nice, but I would definitely not recommend it. In fact if I hadn't immediately thrown away the packaging I would have returned it.
It's very bulky. If you lay the phone down on its back the sides of the case taper from bottom to top. its much wider towards the rear of the phone.
Also, the cutouts for the buttons are terrible. They really aren't even cutouts, no recessions for the buttons to fit inside the case for a nice clicky feel. Very mushy. Not worth it at the premium price, or even for a $6.99 temporary case from amazon.
I can't wait to throw it away.
Wow that's a kick in the ya know. I want a case that doesn't counter or has the nexus word on the back. Uggh

The OEM LG Nexus 5 cases are a total fail. We are coming from a high quality Nexus 4 bumper case that was engineered almost to perfection to this crud? What a step backwards.
What about the Nexus 5 accessories topic?

Is a case really necessary?

I've been doing a bit of googling but unable to find a accurate answer.
Is a case for the nexus 5 really necessary? Does the back panel wear off and show underneath the rubberised finish?
How scratch resistant is the body of the phone?
I like the body of the nexus 5 but I also want to keep it in good condition.
What is your thoughts on this?

IMO, buy a case and protect your investment. There are many styles to choose from.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I don't like using cases either but my common sense is bigger than personal preferences and bought not 1 but 2.
That was a wise investment since it saved my phone in 2 different accidents, both on a hard floor.
If You don't want very much to transform the phone, buy a very slim case. They are not as protective as a bumper but did the job with my phone.

I have an i-Blason Armorbox for when I go out, but at home I use the phone without a case.
Bought the Spigen Ultra Fit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9umZGXf_N4 on Amazon.de and its very good imo and doesn`t add much bulk to the phone.
Any cases that still work with the qi nexus wireless charger? It be nice to protect my phone, but I don't want to take the case off every time I charge, as I keep it on the wireless charger most the time when not in use.
Thanks.

I bought two. Ringke Fusion which i use daily and an other hard back flip cover which i use while travling! Buy a case depending on your need.
Speculate all you want.. But the bottom line is, if you're clumsy then you should get a case. If you aren't then go naked with a Glass Screen protector may be.
However, accidents do happen and your phone will survive it if you have a case on it!
Dress mine with a wallet case during the day, but then its naked at night!
I just picked up the Ballistic SG for mine. It's such a good investment for an amazing phone.

To go case-less you need to be both careful and lucky.
Personally I use a thin Quicksand case just for added grip and scratch protection. If it drops on concrete it's probably still going to break.

If you want that soft touch I recommed the Neo Hybrid. It has excellent protection (I dropped it once while running. :silly annnnd it has that soft touch too.

This is what I use for a slim feel and it's just as protective and it's a steal for that price. Case and screen protector for $8 from that company is awesome! it's $17 cheap then it is on their website.

I did also, and highly recommend this case. It attracts less smudges than the Slim Armor which would be my next recommendation if you don't mind loosing some of the sleekness of the N5. But for maximum protection, the Slim Armor or Neo Hybrids are the best bet.
Isn't it really personal preference.?(not everyone is the same) Your daily life has to be taken into account, your job(I work with tools all day so need a case). My brother has a ton of cases for work out of work at home when the kids are around.etc etc.I'm not rich so I have to protect my baby.lol
