You get another 2gb or so on internal storage.. the rest is elusive haha

Just under 10 GB is normal. There is 16 GB of total storage, but only a part of it is user accessible storage (media etc.). 2.3 GB is internal storage (app data) and the rest is for the OS.
Alright just wanting to make sure its not a SD card issue. Thanks

Ok so I took a break from trying to theme Sense and gave cm10 a shot. This is just practice for me but if enough people like it and would wanna use it I'll post the files (I have to learn how to create a flashable zip first). Anyway, here's what I have so far:

But apk provided by me can be installed on SD even if your phone is not rooted. Anyways thanks for that great app "link2SD"
I am trying to determine if any of the current ROM choices for our phone have fixed the ext SD card read/write issue. I would like to be able to have apps with access to this for obvious reasons.
Skyfall has full read write if that's what you mean by fixed,
Bonestock as well. Can fix it on stock rom with root, insecure kernel and sd fix app.

Thank you all!
Or you can download the app from the store and do the same thing.

I have about 8gb of internal storage unaccounted for and I'm trying to figure out what is using it. I didn't notice what it read before I rooted yesterday but this does not seem right. If we're given 23gb after the system takes up 9 from the 32, what is the roughly 8 gb you see in the screen capture? I just got this warranty exchange yesterday and immediately rooted it. I don't recall losing 8gb on the other phone. Any help?

I wiped data and reset the phone up. Now I have 15.9 gb free with the exact same setup and amount of apps. This is more like it. I can't figure out what happened before but there was almost 6gb of space unaccounted for

I've been running out of storage on my rooted OnePlus 6 because of System has been using 36 GB out of 64 GB. I don't remember when it started to happen but its been a while now.
Is there any way to reduce the size of the System?

Try formatting your storage and reinstall OOS mate. It's because the System partition isn't resized properly.
