I was having problems getting USB tethering working with Win 7.
I downloaded the connect_android.zip and input the password to extract all the files (as shown in first post).
When I plugged the phone into the Win 7 USB port then turned on tethering on the phone Win 7 showed it as a broken USB storage device. You need to right-click on the "USB storage device" and select "update driver' then select "browse" to locate the driver.
You must select the "connect_android" folder, not any of the sub folders for the ndis driver to install. After this tethering worked fine.

Sorry I can't able to download pls upload other link

Windows 7 is auto installing and connect USB tethering.
I use Windows 7 ultimate and Windows 8. They auto install USB driver and connect when i turn on USB tethering.

** NO MORE USB Tethering with new motorola update without HOTSPOT subscription **
Be Aware that if you are currently enjoying tethering on your Droid 4 to a USB device (laptop, etc.,) you will no longer be able to do so if you install the new Droid update from Motorola if you are on Verizon and do not already subscribe to HOTSPOT. This update DISABLES that feature UNLESS you are a Mobile Hotspot subscriber... Additional $$$$ per month of course if you want it enable on your Motorola device back to the once enabled featured (one I have been using for over a year).. In the past you could check the entitlement for USB tethering and it worked... now you get the error message... "User has no Subscription" ie., no Hotspot subscription (they have tied the 2 together)
I am not sure if there are 3rd party work around or a way to get back to the working environment I once enjoyed but I was recommended to ask here because there are some savvy folks who know how these things work.. It is really frustrating to have an update REDUCE services w/o any notice and then want to charge me extra for the same service... one Rep actually told me I had been getting it for free and thats why they changed it... I asked her if it was free what was the $200 a month bill I had been paying was about... she had no answer.
Any suggestions, recommendations, fixes, etc., out there?
Thanks much for your time!
/Bob

Reverse usb tethering(sharing internet connection on ur pc to i9003) beta 3

I found this helpful information to share with you
This guide will only work if you have rooted your device and with a Windows PC. We will not be liable for any damages arising from your use of this guide. Use the presented information at your own risk.
Remember that the tool is still beta software, so expect a lot of kinks and bugs. You can surf using Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Dolphin Browser,GOOGLE PLAY MARKET although Google Chrome complains of not having an Internet connection even though it works. Ping and low-level ICMP packets don’t seem to work either.
Requirements
A rooted Android phone
Desktop or laptop computer running Windows
Working broadband Internet connection on the desktop or laptop
Android Software Development Kit (SDK) installed on the desktop or laptop (optional but recommended)
Instructions
1) Download the reverse tethering tools from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=829285&d=1324833033 and save the file to your computer. The ZIP file contains AndroidTool.exe (Android USB Tunnel tool for your Windows machine), ADB, and the Android APK (Beta Android USB Tunnel tool for your Android phone).
2) Extract the ZIP file to a folder on your computer.
Enable USB debugging on your phone by going to Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging.
3) Go to the folder where you extracted the ZIP file’s contents.
Run AndroidTool.exe.
Connect your phone to your PC using a USB cable.
In the Android USB Tunnel window, click on the Refresh Devices button.
From the list on the right of the detected devices, select a Domain Name Server (DNS) to use.
4) Click the Show Android Interface button. This will install the app and other needed binaries to your phone.
If the Superuser app on your phone asks whether to allow “USB Tunnel,” choose to allow the app. If the process crashes after receiving Superuser rights, close the Android USB Tunnel Windows application and repeat the procedure from the start.
5) Click on the Connect button on the Android USB Tunnel window on your computer.
6) Again, if the Superuser app on your phone asks, choose to allow “USB Tunnel.”
Congratulations! You have successfully reverse-tethered your Android phone to your PC.
Damn man this is cool.
Yeah ... it's cool ... but why I can't download files? I fail download file apk from market and other site. Bug?

yes, its clear from its description. but how can i do that?
i have windows 8.1 so how to use this option , can you tell me procedure?
i have installed universal ADB android drivers using PDAnet.
when i connect my phone with pc using this option (USB Debugging on) it shows a new network connection named "Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device".
i have some question regarding the procedure.
1) Installed drivers are ok or not?
2) Is PC studio required for this process?
3) How to share my dialup connection.
4) what should be firewall status for this method?
5) will i need to configure mobile network or browser for this?
Hope for some positive response..
I have just gotten an ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 which has the same option under settings. I am using Windows 7, but also unable to figure out how to share my internet connection via USB cable. Any help would be welcomed.

Connect your Android device with a USB-Cable to your PC
In the Wireless & networks section (you might need to click on "More..." on some android devices), Try to activate the USB Internet. Now choose the os .(doesn't really matter)
Now there should be check mark on USB internet.(if you're doing this for the first time. You may be prompted and that's ok)
Now on the Windows network connection tab on PC right click the the network you want to share->properties>sharing tab and check mark for allow other users to connect.
