Hello, can u guys suggest a very stable video chat/call like Skype. I uninstalled Skype for it always signs me out randomly when video calling (not just mine but others too) ive tried older versions too because the one in the market, the camera is upside down. Its always inverted (again not just mine lol). What other IM apps can my gf and i use?
google talk with video (search xda for this apk) ... Ammar's JellyBread theme does include it
OR yahoo messenger with video plugin

Yeah I know it! I miss it too. I was running gingerbread and flashed backto froyo cause of the battery issue. I went to the market to get it back and it wasn't there.
I liked it too and when i got my new phone it was gone. I found mp3 downloader Pro v1.3. it has lyrics, album search, more mp3s, and all that kind of stuff. Its the one with a blue icon and a smiley with headphones.

Here's a definition of warez.
Go to the market and download gtunes music lite. I did that the other day and after it installed it asked if I wanted to download the non market version so I could download music. I said ok and installed it. It works great!

Well, in the first (older) build I had removed a command which may be needed.
May have caused froyo showing video-call options, while they're not supported on it!
Can't confirm this, as I'm not running froyo.
just curious: how did you do this? you can't get source from compiled binary files.. does this program reads these informations from a file in the apk which is separately editable like az xml or something?

You can decompile an APK and get some byte-code though, then recompile it.

I have a strange issue - the video from front facing camera is strange, check the attached image. It is from PC Skype but in the preview in Skype Android it is the same..... It seems that preview is like being drunk ))))) you see multiplied....
The other camera works perfect... Setting? Rom? Darky ROM10.1 with GB

on sgs 2 works with both cameras...

I guess my issue is and I should've have been more clear is how to chat with my gtalk contacts...all these other sites require my contacts to have the app to and they don't. Un less one of those apps connects using gtalk??

You don't chat using Google Talk, just your Google login. Also the app is constantly running, no matter what, draining the battery, & the dev has yet to answer the few emails I've sent asking about it.
Can you please post the modified skype apk please?

Well you're right, that actually might be a better apk. The one I had was constantly running the background and this one isn't. Kudos.

It should always be running in the background. Sign out of the service & yet it still has a cached process.

Yes, today is an important day for me and for you. Tango new release (1.6.16292), fix all issues (freezing, audio, zoom, and rotation) and videocalling works perfect on ours i9003.
After waiting a long time, we finally get it!
Also has added a new feature to be able to send video messages.

Johnny88 it's not true.... Booth cameras works on skype, but exists rotation issue. You send the image rotated. And if the other person have an i9003 you will receive the image upside down.
With Tango all work perfect. No issues.

we dont need gtalk if we get video support on google +
I heard that they need the drivers from lg for it but I was wondering if there was a way around not using the stock video camera. I love my rooted phone 99%. My only issue is the video camera. If anyone has any info on it I would be thankful.

Well of course there are other video apps out there but the only reason why its not working on ICS is because ICS lacks Video drivers which is needed for the processing of the video. Currently no one can get it as far I know but since a leaked ICS from LG was just found on the O2X it might be possible to get a fully working ICS ported over with the working video drivers. Hope this helps.
