Looks like Free Music MP3 Downloader v2 has been removed from android market. I like that app ...Where can i get it?

Yeah I know it! I miss it too. I was running gingerbread and flashed backto froyo cause of the battery issue. I went to the market to get it back and it wasn't there.
I liked it too and when i got my new phone it was gone. I found mp3 downloader Pro v1.3. it has lyrics, album search, more mp3s, and all that kind of stuff. Its the one with a blue icon and a smiley with headphones.

Here's a definition of warez.
Go to the market and download gtunes music lite. I did that the other day and after it installed it asked if I wanted to download the non market version so I could download music. I said ok and installed it. It works great!

Nope. I have to hit menu and select high quality then wait for rebuffer I'm always in a good 3G area. Wish there was a setting to watch high quality when available by default.
The Youtube app in my Liquid under 2.1 have an option to play always videos on High Quality, didn't test though since I don't have an unlimited data plan and I use Wifi.

We don't have root yet so system files cannot be rewritten.
Here it is (install as an update to the current app. No root is needed.

Tha kinda worked but now the widget just says 'loading' It links to YouTube though so I guess thats good enough for now.
I had the loading issue also...remove the widget... Go to app management and clear cache uninstall updates... Then reinstall the update and restart... Works fine now with the most viewed videos...

Tried to download on my Incredible but it wouldn't even download in the browser. says the file type cannot be supported on my phone. I have Astro, but its not even downloading the file in the browser.
I'm using Dolphin HD, does that matter? How are u guys getting this YouTube app on your phones?

Very nice app so far.
Minor annoyance is that there doesn't appear to be a way to default it to HQ. The video has to buffer, then start, then you click HQ, then buffer a little more, then plays.
Maybe they do that so that people who don't know any better just play the video without HQ and they save on the bandwidth?
Can someone post the .apk? I am in the US, but since I am using a Brasil Milestone2 I do not see this application in the market. If this is a paid app then nevermind. I am not trying to pirate anything, just would like to try this out.

This app didn't work well for me at all. It likes to force close, alot. Like someone already said if you wunna watch in hd you hafta wait for it to buffer and then hit the "hd" button and then wait for it to restart buffering and then you can watch. But even once the hd video was loaded I wasint impressed, it still didn't look very good on my phone. I'm using a droid X 2.2.1

It actually worked really well for me..on vibrant with nero v4.1 and out loaded videos perfectly and fast..only tested under wifi though

I got that comment too
I downloaded a few, they are quite nice.
I had to dl them on my pc though and then copy to the phone. The phone won't dl them, says the media type is not supported, which I find quite odd, since the stock video player plays the files just fine.
Mine wont open them. Do i need some plugin or something?

They look great on my infuse but one of them had a virus that had me working to fix my laptop for abot 3 hours. Be careful, I think it was the china experience.

WTF I even installed rockplayer and that wont even see the divx file. I'm stock rooted and that's it. Are they supposed to play at all? I downloaded it thru dropbox to phone and even copied it the phone from pc. Only thing I can think of is corrupt download?

I checked and there isn't anything frozen in ttb that would effect this file type. I'm gonna try them again tonight on all 3 phones. Maybe there is something wrong with just mine.

You don't chat using Google Talk, just your Google login. Also the app is constantly running, no matter what, draining the battery, & the dev has yet to answer the few emails I've sent asking about it.

Well you're right, that actually might be a better apk. The one I had was constantly running the background and this one isn't. Kudos.

It should always be running in the background. Sign out of the service & yet it still has a cached process.

Openhome launcher - a launcher (unsure of why it was pulled...?)
These types of threads have been done before, but usually are more along the lines of "best apps to have for root users", etc... I am interested in knowing of more and will add others as I think of them. Please contribute!

REFLEXIONS, an awesome game, was pulled from my tablet's market. Though it seems to be on my EVO's market. I don't know why, but i don't play it on my evo. I need it on my tablet! ;-;

I also hate when an app isn't available for your particular device, even though you know damn well your device can run the app (having tested other ways). The whole Market thing is kinda frustrating. And now I have to have the Google Market AND the Amazon Market for my apps, and neither will just filter the FOSS apps, which is what I mostly want anyway.
I think bitblocks was the best version of tetris yet on android. It was removed. Also Snesoid, and Nesoid, though I understand the author was violating the GPL, so what can you do....
