What was the reason CyanogenMod failed to install? perhaps you tried to flash a bad download.
Power off the device, hold vol-up and insert the USB cable. The top LED should turn blue. If it does, you should be able to recover.
Redownload CWM and CM10, and put the CM10 zip on an SDcard. If the download is good and you follow the instructions you should be fine.
Ummm that thing with the blue led.... When i hold the vol up button and plug the cable sony logo goes on... Only thing i can do is go in flashmode and try to flash, which actually doesn't work ;(
Even if i can get to recovery i don't think i have and image to recover i will be glad if you have any idea what to do. Thanks in advance
I don't know about your phone but for tipo we needed a specific loader.sin file which was required along with the ftf file to flash with flashtool.
Also if you can get into recovery, download cm10 once again and try to flash that.
Hit Thanks if I helped you!

By following this guide i managed to root and install CWM. That file "loader.sin" i already have it and its in place, otherwise I couldn't flash CWM. Any other ideas ?

Let me guess. You downloaded cm10 by fxp and flashed with cwm? That's not how this is done. Fxp has its own recovery and requires its own fxp kernel. The cwm you installed from that link only highjacks the offline charging method to boot into cwm. This version of cwm is in system directory itself.
Have you unlocked bootloader? If so then enter fastboot and fastboot boot.img found in the cm10 zip file. You will automatically have cwm + fxp kernel. Then go into cwm and flash .zip
Do every thing in this thread

I also experienced this before. You need to make sure your usb cable is connected directly to your usb port. Dont connect it through cooling fan. Some cooling fan have usb port too. And go to control panel, Device Manager. Go to Universal Serial Buss Contoller, and open it all. On the Power Management tab, dont check "Allow the computer to turn off this device ....". And make sure you have installing flashmode and fastboot mode drivers, Those can be found on the Drivers folder. CMIIW

Same problem with me. When i am trying to flash my phone it keeps prompting me to connect the device. In my case Sony logo appears and the green led is there when i flash. But during the flashmode process the phone turns itself on and gets stuck in the sony logo. And the flashtool promts to connect the device.

Hi
I tried install XPERIENCE™ Tipo Beta 2 ROM but I forgot one step (format system). After installation i rebooted phone but stuck at black screen of course. So I pulled out battery and go to CWM again and I did everything, format data, system, cache, dalvik cache, battery stats and tried install ROM again. But CWM can't read from internal memory so i decided to reboot phone and go to CWM again but now I can't go to CWM and phone stuck at SONY logo. So I tried flash firmware by flashtool but of course there were error.
Installation process starts normal but after few steps phone disconected itself and tried to boot.

Like I said, I followed this tutorial (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2333078) and they ask to flash the recovery.tft file at step6.
And the flash does not complete. It stays so and my phone freezes until I disconnect it that aborts the flash but I waited 30 minutes before I disconnect it.
And my phone is not broken after this fail. I reboot it and it simply starts again without problem...

What do you mean, recover your phone? Enter in recover mode?
And what can I do with the update service? I already launch it but my phone already has the last update.

so are you telling me, your phone boot & working normally ? then you don't need re-flash 2nd ftf file ( "JB31.ftf" ) or SUS.
then try again with tutorial. ( flash tool not properly working with windows 8 )
I'm on windows 7.
And yes, my phone works totally fine. BUT I do want to boot into CWM ^^ and that doesn't work. I'm doing again and again this tutorial : install.bat works great but then I need to flash this recovery.tft because the CWM is not definitive as I understood. So I turn off my phone and connect it with vol- pressed, flash begins then stops... Weird.
I can unlock my bootloader but I would not want to. If nothings works, I'll do it...
Actually I identify the problem: flashtool do not recognize the recovery.ftf ! I tried to flashed the kernel ICS...
How can I solve this problem? It seems that a lot of people having this issue to : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49167339&postcount=76 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49746942&postcount=81
And here the solution : I just had to remove the external sd card before flashing....
To any1 else having this problem, I would suggest unlocking bl cuz it opens up so much.

Have you ever unlocked your bootloader??
Connect your phone in flashmode to the pc without opening flashtool and wait for few seconds. The drivers will get installed
Then Try the whole procedure again.
