I'm using cyanogen 10.2 and have been getting this insufficient storage available error message when installing an app from the play store. I've read about a folder in the phone called data /app/data/lb or something similar to that. I'm unable to find that folder and can't get rid of this message if anyone can walk me through this issue I'd appreciate it thanks Rich

Delete the Folder 'lost+found' in the system storage
I saw that there's a new camera update available, and I tried to install it from the play store, but it gives me an error saying there's something wrong with the signature and refuses to install. I found an apk elsewhere and tried to install from that, but again, it would be give the an error message saying "an existing package by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed".
I went to settings->apps->camera and cleared data, force stop, disable, etc, but nothing worked. I was using Jishnu's camera mod, but about a month ago, my camera app stopped working. I did flash it back to stock 4.4.2 found in Jishnu's thread, but still no luck. I even tried to uninstall camera using Titanium, but it couldn't find the apk.
Any ideas?
EDIT
Solved!

Thanks!
Delete the old camera app using a file explorer. It'll be in /system/app/, /data/app/ or maybe even /system/priv-app/
Google Nexus 5

I'm using ES File Explorer with root enabled, but it won't let me delete the GoogleCamera.apk. It says "Read-only file system". Permissions for the file is rw- r-- r--, and won't allow me to change anything about the file at all.
EDIT
Figured out how to delete the apk, but it still wont let me install the new camera...

I downloaded the camera apk from that thread, but still no luck. With the originall GoogleCamera.apk deleted, now I just get a non-specific error saying "Application was not installed"
How I fixed it:
Delete GoogleCamera.apk in /system/apps
Flash the 4.4.2 camera restore found in Jishnu's thread
Camera should work now
Update camera
???
Profit!
Link please
I'm having this exact same problem. I'm running Omnirom, so I thought it was related to that.
Could you please link to the thread you are referring to?

Please share! Also using ES File Explorer with root.

In ES, expand tools, turn on root explorer, and click on root explorer. Change r/w settings so you can delete files

Yeah, really weird!
I couldn't get it to work with any combination of methods. Update from store, update with apk, uninstall and reinstall from store or with apk, nothing!
And today, as i was going to demonstrate to a friend how the update fails, all of a sudden the installation went through! I had downloaded the apk from AndroidPolice and merely went to install it (which had failed about ten times before!) and it worked!
I have no idea what changed, but I'm happy now. Loving the new UI. Simpler, and the new features rock. Just waiting for all the old ones to be brought back.
Battery drain sucks, tho...
how did you fixed it plz tell me

Good work bro!
:good:
Using CM, 13.1, android 6.01.
I have a problem where I can't install apps from APKs and I can't open "permissions" tab in App info. Instead, I get the message "Unfortunately, Package installer has stopped".
I already tried to google, and toggling the unknown sources doesn't work. I try to delete cache and restored to factory setting, but the error remains.
any help is welcome
Still need help
I tried using app ops, but seems it is ****ed on M.
A different permission manager allows me to modify existing permissions but I can't add new ones. As a result I can't record voice messages on WhatsApp for example.
Any advice is welcome.

Very funny. You can see in the OP I wrote I tried to google, and some of the methods I tried to use. if you have nothing good to say, better you don't speak.
Hy guys,
as already written in the topic I have accidentally uninstalled the calender app wich comes with emui.
now when I install e.g. the google calender app and open the app it says the calender storage is deaktivated. It gives me also the posibilety to activate in the settings but when I type it it comes back again.
So is there any possibilety to bring the original calender app back so I can activate the calender storage?
So I figured out that I have to reinstall the calendar storage APK . Can maybe somebody upload this APK for emui 5 or share a link where I can download the file.
I believe you can find a generic one online, nonetheless, here it is. Hopefully it works.
thanks a lot.
It's not working. I get the message "package appears to be corrupt".
Ok got it via adb.
now its working.

@ChrisChros how doid you solve the ADB error:
Code:
Failed to install Calendar_Storage_com.android.providers.calendar.apk: Failure [INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_NO_CERTIFICATES: Failed to collect certificates from /data/app/vmdl499526276.tmp/base.apk: /data/ap
p/vmdl499526276.tmp/base.apk: File res/drawable-xhdpi-v4/app_icon.png in manifest does not exist]
Thanks for the help!
Might be a bit late, but if any others stumble upon this:
place the apk provided above in system/priv-app. Make sure it has all r/w permissions and then restart phone! Should work then.
