I also purchased these earphones from ebay.in
My Review:-
This is just crap, waste of money...
Dont ever buy these earphones from ebay.in...
It doesnt last for even a month, wires are loosely manufactured... got it in two pieces after 10 days of use.
Definitely these are chinese cheap earphones, copy of original htc headsets, if you wanna purchase better earphones then go for other brands also like SoundMagic, SkullCandy, Creative... I prefer these 3 brands.
If you still want to buy these earphones, then purchase Genuine htc headset from HTC Store.

U right man.. but the original one is some what good... But now a I hate eBay...they allow lot of fake products... Don't buy any OEM product from eBay...

You have to be careful on eBay as half the things are non functional or fake but the other half are cheaper from the market also original

Boxwave Keyboard Buddy Case for HTC DESIRE HD

Hello everyone,
I am doing a research on the boxwave Keyboard Buddy Case for our HTC DESIRE HD. Would you like to have one for our phones, your input will be very highly appreciated, as it will enable me to make an order above 150 units and also boost confidence among DESIRE HD users to have an attachable keyboard for the phone.
I am once again asking everyone to vote in the polls and do it very sincerely as it will help me decide to contact the company and order 100-150 units so that they can possibly build one for our HTC DESIRE HD. Also please comment why you would like to have one, how much would you like to have one for.
Here is one of the picture of Boxwave Handy Case for iPhone 4 :

You can also post your request on their website for one for our phones:
http://www.boxwave.com/community/request/index.htm
I know there are bluetooth keyboard devices available for the phone, but this one is special, you can attach it with your phone and it has a very sleek and thin design making it hide under the phone and become just invisible.
I just contacted Boxwave and here is what they said.
Surely you should just get the desire z if you want a slide out keyboard??

I would definitely like to get one but you are quoting a price of about 100$, and IMHO its too much to ask for. If its somewhat cheaper then many of us DHD userss will buy it.
Though I appreciate the effort and hope that the deals goes through.!

Same here...I would definitely be interested, although the price would have to be right too.
That is only a tentative price, the original price would be 2folds cheaper.
I think this is a brilliant idea, I have some regrets as to not getting a desire Z and this case would complete my DHD and make it the most perfect phone
Hi, more than interested, but...... are you sure that the keyboard connects to the DHD?
(I have currently a silicon keyboard which I cannot use with my DHD - simply doesn't connect; paired yes but tt's it....)
Rerding the rate, it is marked from 69.95usd, so I imagine that this would be easible as well for us?
Count me in... if it works properly
I've just requested as per first post!
Awesome. Lets get this thing working.

Yeah, I don't regret not getting the z because the screen size is so much smaller, but coming from nokia n900 I really do miss my keyboard.
Do you guys think it will kill the battery life with BT turned on 24/7?
I am expecting in-house keyboard. That will utilize our desire hd's micro USB. How about a keyboard with a battery at the bottom of it. Wow that is too much asking hahaha.

The case is nice until you drop your phone.
The protection is "barely there".
Its fine for protecting the phone when you put it down on surfaces though.

Highly recomend Sol Republic Ambs!

These are great for the price!! I got it fir $76 with tax and warranty. Bass bumps! Very clear sounD. Even better than beats tour.

You talking bout the regular Sol Republic Amps right? Not the Amp HD? I think the HD has the ability to answer calls and is like 99 bux USD retail.
EDIT: They both have the buttons. but I don't think they work with calls on android. Can the OP confirm if they work for calls?
Umm you can talk and hear. But idk if u can answer calls with it. Haven't tried it yet

Only difference I see between them is that the HD's are a bit better driver wise and the cords are the flat kind. Eh..I'll see how they fare against my Rezound ibeats lol...
Why were you thinking of returning the normal amps?
So I can get myself the hd ones. U know if the klipsch are better?

SOL Republic AMPS HD
Ok got them in. The build is nice, very comparable to the iBeats that I have that are taken from a HTC Rezound. The isolation is on par with the beats and the SOL Republic Amps HD has 4 different ear buds to try out. More choices for a better fit.
With my excitement, I plugged these badboys in and opened up google music run a few tracks off of it and to my chagrin, the left ear was distorted! I was like all heck..now I gotta do a warranty return. I called Sol Republic up and told them my situation. They sent me an email on warranty return details. I then took a step back and try to plug the SOL AMPS HD back in and the left side had no issues anymore. Did it need to warm up? Who knows, the driver works.
Next, the fitment, with the supplied earbuds, it's really hard not to find a fit. And if you register with Sol Republic they will supply you with free earbuds for life. Cool thing to know... Also the pouch is neat too, kinda like a deflated thin kickball but the case works and has a cool to link to stuff like bags or a belt loop lol...
Ok, now down to the nitty gritty...the sound. How do these sound? GREAT. They are not for the BASS heads but more like the rounded sounds like Vmoda. They handle bass well, but that is not what the SOL Amps HDs are meant for. They are meant for pretty much a clear reproduction and are forgiving whereas you have to keep in mind you are listening to mp3. But comparing it to my Rezound iBeats, which are indeed top heavy on the bass compared to the SOL Amps HD that are not. But don't get me wrong, you max out the volume and you can still hear the tracks pretty damn clear.
As for the three button functionality, keep in mind the box indicates that the AMPS HD are for iphones and ipods. But in using them in calling the mic works from what I can tell when I call into tmobile to get my minutes and such. BUT only the middle button works for our phones. Pair the headphones with the jays headset app from the market (free) and you can use the middle button for other things than just call and hang up the phone. With the app, you can adust the volume and actually skip tracks as well. So the other buttons are not missed. Admittingly the center button does get kind of annoying, compared to a dedicated volume button. But I don't mind it.
Bottom line would I recommend this? Yes for an alternative to the heavy bass headphones in the market today. I have my go-to over the ear headphones, the v-moda crossfades lps and they are a dream to listen to. Clear as day and not heavy in the bass, much like these SOL Amps HDs. I have to preface the recommendation with that I did NOT pay full retail (99usd) in like best buy or the like. So if you can get it cheaper than retail, it's worth every penny.
Anyway, here are pics....questions anyone?
EDIT: Upon my initial use of the AMPS HD, I did contact Sol Republic on the issue and they had been more than accommodating in getting my issue resolved. KUDOS to them and their awesome service, email communication-wise and phone-wise. Yes I did call them .

Cool, sending in original package which made it from Greece ok so should reach you fine.
A coat of lacquer on these helps protect the design.

Sadly the case has a few cracks in it now. It fits very tightly and when removing it some cracks opened up. Also the piece just above the volume rocker broke off. The material it is made from isn't great and seems as though it will break if dropped might have to revert back to my Case Mate Barely There.
But it still looks awesome and hardly adds any weight or width to the phone. Plus it was free lol.
Sorry to hear that. Is the cracking the plastic or paint??
As soon as I got mine I lacquered it and its fine.

Brief PalBot speaker review

So, my brother got one of these for a gift and after hearing the little thing I couldn't not post a review. This thing has some MASSIVE sound for its size, crisp highs and lows with surprising base. It even has a separate bottom facing woofer, which is rare for this kind of speaker. Build quality is really quite good, and its nice and heavy. Very little interference and doesn't distort until you really crank it up. So, I know this isn't strictly related to the N4, but to any of you who want a small speaker, grab one of these.
