Polaris Office for Kindle Fire

Hello guys!
I hope this thread would not be considered as "warez". Polaris Office is currently only distributed as a pre-loaded app, for Android devices, by different HW vendors. And there is no way, that I am aware of, to be able to buy the app if you like it or need it.
I've copied the binaries needed, from my smartphone, to test the app on my KF. And so far it is working ok. No crashes.
I am attaching the files needed to install the app, if you want to give it a try.
PS: There is an "Update" option available on the Settings menu. This is not working and will cause the app to crash. Do not use it.
Install instructions:
1- Copy the PolarisOffice.apk file to /system/app. Change the permission to rw-r--r--
2. Extract the lib.zip file. And copy the content (libpolarisoffice.so and libpolarisoffice_Clipboard.so) to /system/lib. Change the permission of both .so files to rw-r--r--

I am sorry to hear that. Just to clarify, did you followed the install procedure (copying the files to /system/app and /system/lib)?
I will try to test the app using this rom on my device.

I put the files in the appropriate folder and believe i granted them access...i was a little unclear on the RW-R-R part of your description...but the files are definitely in the right spots.

@akxt1022 i saw your main thread and after a update you made it stop working, is there a way to put the old version of the theme engine (that it seems to work) and make it work on this device? or what could cause this issue?

Can u make a capps flashable zip without audio FX ...
The rest apps I would like to have...
I m on mokee rom... 5.1 history zip..
Coz mokee has inbuilt vp4andriod ...

[Q] Zygote spams logs (Triada?)

Device:
SM-G900F (Galaxy S5)
Lollipop 5.0
Stock ROM
ROOT (SuperSu)
Xposed framework (v85.0 non-requestConcurrentGC-type)
TWRP installed

I am not really skilled, I am just a common user.
I have had root for two years and xposed for 5 months.
2 days ago, after rebooting, for the first time zygote asked me for root permission. After refusing it, zygote started to spam logs with denied requests. Then WhatsApp (playstore version) asked for root permission too (I denied).
I checked xposed logs too and I noticed some 'com.android.os.ZygoteInit[...]' (I do not know if it is normal or not).
I looked for a solution here and on the net, but I found nothing, except for the new trojan called Triada that uses zygote to obtain root access (that's what I understood).
I read that the only way to remove this virus is by removing files through a root browser or by reflashing firmware.

I'm on a fresh install and this zygote su request wasn't appearing until I reinstalled all my apps.
Another forum states that zygote is run at such a raw level that it simply would never request root.
I am for now denying su requests with little to no adverse effects.
Can anyone confirm for certain that zygote should never need to request root? Is there anyway to dig out the rogue source/apk when av apps are showing nill?
As I have nothing Whatsapp on my phone, thinking it may be an xposed mod. Might be a good idea for us to list are xposed mods so we can cross reference. Not sure?

Solved, it was just the xposed installer that modified the zygote init for a particular module.

Houdini ARM-x86: Library cannot started by Houdini

Hello,
i searching and trying now since 2months to get my library to run. Im using the free emulator NOX, MEMU, LD to test it.
Current emulator (MEMU) starting the app (ARM) now alot of other libraries (x86 and also ARM) getting loaded, but as soon the library i use mylib.so (ARM) gets loaded by the x86 process
houdini is not catching it (yes it has the correct elf magic code in it so which is used for identifying the elf and everything should go over houdini) but instead i get e_machine 40 error for
not supporting ARM on x86. Houdini is ignoring my lib.
Is it not possible to start an ARM library from a x86 process by using houdini? is it not the purpose of it, to make it work?
i placed the mylib.so in [ /system/lib/ ] is it maybe the case i need to put it in [ /system/lib/arm ] ?
What i am doing wrong.

AFAIK MEMU can run in 64-bit mode ( means run a 64-bit Android image ).

thank you for answering but what would be different it is still the same architecture (x86 system) and ARM lib and also Android64bit is using houdini.
maybe a few more words about your thoughts would help me to understand.

LIBHOUDINI.SO ( the Intel-ARM translator what isn't freely available , means it isn't open source ) only is used on x86/x86_64 emulators like MEMU, and only if "native-bridge" is enabled in Android's build.prop file, AFAIK.

Yes, and its also working for other ARM libs but simply not for mine, and i would just like to understand. Why houdini is not starting my mylib.so from a x86 compiled process.
the normal output from houdini is:
