Cool app - iOnRoad

I read about this app at Android Central, and I wanted to give it a try. When I tried to install it from the Android Market, supposedly the app is not compatible with the Sensation. I searched a little bit more and found a direct link for "unsupported devices", I downloaded the apk and installed the app and it is working.
Here is the link: http://www.ionroad.com/download-ionroad
Enjoy
Very usefull app
wish everyone had this lol cool app thanx
great
Great app thanks for this
Site is gone when I click the link.
Just download it from the market. It is already listed as compatible with the sensation.
I can't find it in the market. Possibly removed?

Very cool app
Interesting concept.
Cool app but the thing kept making my phone reboot. LOL. I had to uninstall. Sux cuz I just racked up some points the first day lol...
This app is a good idea but seems kinda contradicting don't ya think? If you were watching the road instead of your phone you wouldn't need this app anyway lol.
I cant say much, I text and drive practically everyday..
Great app thanks for this
looks like a good idea.
i will give it a try
The phone runs really hot when this app is left running.
I clicked the market link and this app is not compatible with the Sensation.... at least that is what it is telling me....

Are you in the US? That may be the reason.
To those of you who use and like this app, what car mount are you using?
Also, does your car mount let you keep your phone in it's case?

Would anyone with a stock'ish rom mind posting this app? (use TiB i'd guess). Since going to cm9 rom i'm getting the "not compatible with your device" in the market. Seeing if sideloading it will work.
thanks
I can't get it either. According to the description its looking for a tablet to install.

Well, My first advice to you would be to never purchase from one of the Chinese tablet makers. They are cheaply made and are never what is advertised. But if you really need help, I would need to know what version of android you are running and the name of the device. Please reply to this post as fast as you can for the quickest help I can give you.
Lol, I am never going to order from anyone like that again!! I bought the 'pocket rock' running ICS 4.0.4
Thanks SO much!

May I ask how much you paid for it? And do you know how to root the tablet? Or do I need to teach you how to do that? Because I found a link to a flashable .zip of the google playstore for ICS. just tell me what you need.
I've never rooted anything before, but I am prettu good with computers. I thus, will need help to root it. I paid $62 !! Thats why I bought it, seemed like an amazing deal! And it is a 'good' tablet, nothing better than that.

Hmm, if I were you, I would have just went with the new Nexus 7. It's only $200 and is an amazing tablet. But let me see, I'm not finding much of anything on your tablet :/ could you link me to the original page where you bought the item? Thanks.
Ok, xda will not let me post a lke, so I will post half a lik, and probly get this post deleted like last time chinavasion.com/t4s0/ I was thinking about it, but I have a 10.1" tablet and I wanted one more like a phone so I don't have to carry this monster around with me. The Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 was my first pick, but its $200 as well... so I thought I'd take a chance on it. And with your help, it just might work out half as good as I hoped so, Thank you very much again!! (The bad part is I talked my brother into buying onr with me and his is the same way so, thats much worse than mine not working!!) /\ thank you SOOOO SO SO MUCH!!!

Has anyone tried Windows 8 for Android? (Launcher)

I am a user of Launcher 7, and even though it is great, it is always unstable for me - especially as you add more tiles.
I came across this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...wsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5nYWJlbGljMTIzLmRlc2t0b3A4Il0.
Reviews seems good and it looks nice, but it doesn't really go into detail on what it can and can't do.
Like:
Can you customise each tile?
Can you use your own images for a tile?
Can you add, remove and sort tiles easily?
Is it stable?
Is it fast?
etc etc
I know it's only £1.26, but if it isn't worth it, then it isn't worth it, you know.
i haven't used it, but it looks like it was made from a cheap, fail dev.
Dont buy.

Read the thread.
Thanks.
Once again, XDA proving to be as helpful and friendly as ever.
Keep it up. :good:
I'd really like to know whats wrong with it as well, in a polite and explanatory way if possible. Is it just a skin or is it actually managing to boot windows 8?
Reading some reviews, it seems like it is just a launcher

I don't see why people who can purchase apps just don't purchase them. There is a 15 minute return Window for a reason.

Says, "Using memes to get more thanks is useless for ya." then uses a meme to justify their attitude. lol

OP wanted to know about the app before purchasing it. There's nothing wrong with that.

[Question] ROM(s) with 4.2-like notification/quick-settings dual pulldown

Does anyone know if there are any ROMs out there with something similar to the notification/quick-settings that will (possibly) be on 4.2, dual pulldown?? I thought I saw one, but can't remember which one, or where I saw it.

Why would you think any rom has this feature? It was just shown off today.

MIUI has it. Here's a shot of the 2.3 version... 4.1 looks very similar.

That is something ENTIRELY different.
I understand that it was just shown off today as a part of 4.2...... I also know that there has been some videos floating around that showed off an early build of this feature, and we have some amazing devs here, just thought someone might have cooked something similar into their ROM.....and yes, I did see one that did, just don't remember which one!!
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
When the 4.2 source drops, then we'll start to see it integrated into AOSP roms. Until then... probably not going to happen.
