My Nexus 4 is already starting to chip around the outside so I ask you this:
What is the best case? What are your experiences so far?
(I was tempted by the bumper case but it seems very expensive.)
no such thing as a best case, that is subjective and depends on the person and what you're looking for.
are you looking for a bulky case? are you looking for a very slim and low profile case with minimal protection? what are you looking for?

Best TPU case is diztronic matte black (comes in other colors)
Not many other options outside of cheap ones on ebay...

Best anything is just down to each individual's taste so you'll just get lots of opinions saying different things. My opinion on a case is completely different to most others I've found. For that reason I'm closing this thread and that there's so many posts about cases in this section.

I have been looking for a case for my HTC Sensation 4G.
The main purpose is to save a phone in case of an accidental drop.

Looks like you already have done some research on this. But based on what you want....meaning in case of an accidental drop I think out of the ones you posted, the trident one is the one I think would be the best overall case. I personally use the seidio active case with kickstand with holster and it looks great and I feel safe in not having any exposed corners to chip or bump into.

Sorry I was incorrect in mentioning the trident case, it was the case mate that I was referring to as per video in that thread.
I'm using the Seido case right now. I love it. I've had it for about 2 months now. Glad I got this one. I like the fact that when you put it in the holster the screen faces in.
I use the Otterbox commuter series, but I think I'm going to switch to the Seidio Active. I don't like the fit of the Otterbox.
I posted a video review of these cases. It compares the Trident, Seidio, and CaseMate. It's in this forum somewhere.

I LOVE this case. The only thing that bugs me is that oils from hands stays on the case, and feels a little disgusting. The other bad thing is that the opening for the micro-USB port is a little smaller than it should be.
Other than that, it's an amazing case. Very protective, sleek, doesn't collect dust, and looks good!
I'm thinking about buying the Body Glove custom fit case, which is a hard-shell case covered in soft-touch coating. At Wal-Mart for $16. Just to try it out.

Didn't see much good reviews on the body glove case.
Free case is good, but more than that I'm willing to pay of a case that will protect my $500 phone
My brother uses a Casemate Tough Case. As a rough-and-tumble kind of guy, he didn't even want to get a case for his phone until I made him, lol. So far he's dropped his phone numerous times with the case on and, I quote him, "It just bounces!. It's a pretty bulky case but if you're looking for protection, I'd recommend it.

I own CM Tough and I'm very satisfied with it,although i don't use it all the time..Dropped the phone 2 times with it on pavement(clumsy me:/) and nothing happened,even the case didn't get any scratches.Also i find it very easy wearing it in pocket,even though it is kinda robust.Compared it to some other case(dont know the brand) and i like CMT more..My vote goes to it.
I'm very satisfied with CM Tough too. It may seem a bit bulky but it still feels pretty good in my hands. It offers excellent protection and looks good too IMHO.

Personally - I prefer this case! I realize it probably doesn't suit your needs, however it suits mine and I figured I'd share what I use.

Holy crap tyrol, Im all for great pics but those are some big ass pics lol. Either host them somewhere or upload a smaller pic bro. I had to scroll to the right to view the pics bigtime. Some of us view these forums on our phone/netbooks/tablets!

I just got one, its very lightweight and thin, it's quite flexible and as such comes off quite easily. I don't think I will be using it for much longer.
Think they need to make a bumper like the neo hybrid or similar..

I have all three of these stupid cases. The Spigen, the Nilikin and the Rearth. The best is the Rearth, Spigen second and Nilikin is the worst.
Just got the official google bumper and am wondering why I wasted my money anywhere else.

Its very slim , but it delivers protection.
I dropped my phone. The case did what it's designed for.

I tried searching for some cases on this thread but I couldn't find any... so sorry if this is a repost
Anyway, being a guy, I feel like the folio wallet cases aren't exactly well suited for guys. At least for me, I prefer the cases like the iLuv Modena or the Speck Smartflex Card cases. Do you guys know of any other cases like this? Please post what you're using and why you prefer it!
Personally, I'm thinking of getting the Modena, but I've heard reviews of people saying its cheap quality and the leather doesnt line up with the phone

Piel Frama
Piel Frama is the OG of premium leather cases. I had one back in the day for my original Compaq iPaq. I still remember the scent when I opened the box. I'm tempted to order one just for the nostalgia! I remembered them the other day when I was pondering S4 cases, and I googled them to see if they are still around. Sure enough they are and make a huge lineup for the S4 and every other popular device.
Apparently you DID NOT search because this has been discussed at length, with many recommendations.
Found this awesome case for a expensive price... Does anyone saw some similar cases cheaper? For me the best about this case is the very slim design.

I do not know of any with similar design, but I can vouch for the seidio, I bought the active model, with the silicon and abs layers (on the phone right now) and it was well worth the money, I have dropped it on concrete and tarmac from shoulder height and while moving and the phone is still pristine. It is the slimmest rugged case out there. So if that is anything to go by then this case should be good and worth the money also

I bought one of these for my M8 & the quality & fit are excellent. Waiting for these to come into stock & then getting one as I prefer leather pouches as opposed to cases.
