Hi All,
I thought it would be a great idea if there was a thread dedicated in finding a great pouch for those of us, who have [or have plans to] bought a case for their phone. [ Have ordered a bumper + 4 cases, so far ]
There are a lot of pouches available for Nexus 4, but very little information available about which pouches will fit a nexus 4 with a bumper or case.
The approximate dimensions of the Nexus 4 with a bumper case
Height - 140mm Width - 75mm Depth - 11mm
I have already ordered a couple of pouches and have contacted multiple ebay sellers to see which pouches would fit N4 with a bumper. Others who already have a phone and cases, please pitch in with the pouches which work for you, along with the case you are using and how tight a fit it is, so that it is helpful to all
Here are some potential candidates:
1. Mofi Pouch
Price : 5 USD
Fit : It seems the 5XL version would definitely fit. [ thanks to intekmdmda, who has ordered it and has taken a few pics as well- Nexus 4 with S-line TPU ].
Update: The Mofi 3XL Electronic version [not the phone version] also seems to work. Reportedly available in local stores for around 10 USD.
Apart from this, moxon34 has posted that MP4 version XXXL No. will possibly work with N4 with a case and maybe even with a bumper.
Update 2 :
I got the black version and as mentioned by others , it is a lint magnet. I would suggest buying non-black colours such as grey.
These cases are available from buychina.com.

The 3$ Flanelette Bag Case from ebay works. The seller replied back saying that the case will perfectly fine with a N4 with a bumper, yet to try though.
Mofi Kangaroo Pouch [5XL version] should also fit. It comes with an additional sleeve which can accomodate your credit card or earphone set and costs ~6 $ from buychina.com

2. PU Leather Pouch for Note 2
Price - ~ 4 USD
Fit - Fits the Nexus 4 with bumper with very little space to spare. [ as depthwise, there is not much leeway , so a very thick case might be a tight fit]. Overall, highly recommended.

3. Neoprene sleeve for Note 2

4. Soft velvet case pouch for Note 2
Price - 1.34 USD , 3.49 USD [for Expedited shipping]
Fit - Not yet tried, have ordered one from each. But should provide similar fit as neoprene sleeve.
Update : Seller has responded that it will work with the N4 phone with bumper . [had given him the dimensions info]

UPDATE:
Though inexpensive, the pouch is not a good fit for the N4 with bumper. Leave alone other cases. Please check my post for pics and more information.
5. Galaxy S3 Leather Pouch
Price - 3.29 USD
Fit - Very tight. Would be very difficult to fit a diztronic TPU case [so no bumper for sure] , but maybe a thinner Diztronic hard shell case or Nillkin might be possible?

6. Oakley Sunglass Bag
Price - 6 USD
Availability - At the local Oakley store
Fit - SurferNerd6987 has posted that it fits well.
Pics [via SurferNerd6987] -
Additional Option -
Get a custom one made from ETSY, with the dimensions of the bumper given. [ taking into consideration the volume and power buttons, the width should be increased another 3 mm max. so 145x80x12 mm internal dimensions should fit the phone with bumper w/o any issues, by my estimates. ]
NOTE:
In general, Note/Note 2 pouches should fit the device with bumper, but would be much longer and wider. [but very cheap ones available]
We should ideally be having a sleeve that is a closer fit. Nokia Lumia 920's doesn't seem to work. Droid DNA's cases have a good chance of fitting, but haven't got responses from the sellers yet. The dimensions of Droid DNA are 141 x 70.5 x 9.7 mm.
Reserved for future use .
Ah well, I have another candidate for you aside from the sexy Mofi pouch. Let me take another picture...
This is a very "Cheap" pouch but I like it better than the mofi because I can actually push the phone out using the sides, rather than flip the entire thing upside down to get the phone out.
I had the pouch for about 1.5 years. and you can see the wear and tear. This pouch handled very well. I was in a vehicle accident (A car ran me over while on my bicycle and I landed on the phone ~140lb of fat.) The pouch took the damage, only leaving a small nick on the corner of the phone.
Click here to Ebay - $3 to your door.
edit: they also come in a variety of colors on ebay. e.g. red.
Also for the neoprene sleeve you listed for the note 2. I had that on my other phone (2 phones ago). I loved the feel on it. The only problem is that, over time I would get these "knots" on them. I guess the threads would come loose and create a knot. Kind of like when you wash clothes that leave those lint looking things and you need to "cut" them away from the clothes.

You got run over!! Hope you were fine and didn't sustain any lasting damage.
Wow, those look nice, despite the damage. However, the ebay link you provided is for the blue one. Do let me know if you find one selling the same color as yours? [not able to find while searching ]. By the way, what would be approx. dimensions of the S-line TPU? I am thinking this case should fit the N4 with the bumper as well.
EDIT : This is what I could find - a similar black one
If this works, I guess the flannelette one also should work. However, the seller hasn't responded.

Oh, I see. I think ideally a high-quality leather case would be the best [or maybe mofi ?] , but not willing to experiment and spend 10$+ on a single one, without knowing whether it would fit well. Hope the sellers reply back soon. Some already have with negative responses so far

Quite expensive. I hope it works. Have subscribed to the thread, anyway
Is it safe to say that the generic, universal leather case/holsters that are for the Note 2 can be used with a N4 with bumper?
Anyone out there find one yet?
Will this fit?

Sorry about the low lighting picture. The one I have is blue.
I'm not sure if these will work, the one I originally purchased was for the motorola triumph. I compared the triumph to the samsung galaxy S1 and they are the same size, so these pouches should fit. snug with a case.

I have the leather slipcase for the gs3, and it's a tight fit with my ringke slim casein it. It will fit if u stretch it out, but the issue is the interior isn't the greatest. Im trying to find a better quality leather case that will fit with the ringke slim case on it.

Today I received the 4XL version of the Mofi pouch and there's no way the phone would fit with the bumper in there (the phone itself barely fits). I have the 5XL coming in from China in a few days - I'll update with how that goes. I also e-mailed Waterfield (SFbags) about their sleeve and phone with bumper dimensions. They told me that the Nexus 4 would not fit with the bumper into their sleeve and that according to the dimensions provided from this thread the closest would be their Samsung Galaxy Note sleeve (5.78" x 3.26" x 0.38" in).
I had the Waterfield sleeve for the Nexus S. While it was pretty basic, I had no complaints, since that was what I wanted. However, now I'm wondering if there would be too much space left in going with a size not quite made for the Nexus 4 specifically.
No need to buy another generic case. I have am using the holster case that I have used with my Sensation when that first came out years ago. Great news is that the Diztronic was able to stretch the leather and now the bumper fits! I'll post pics (yay!)
Best 10 bux I ever spent! LOL :good:
Anyway, here is the generic vertical leather belt holster. JUST big enough to house the N4 with bumper.

The OP in SFbags thread has ordered Galaxy S3 sized one to fit his diztronics tpu case. You can check whether the fit is too tight once he receives it, and based on that , make a decision.

That's great news for those of us, looking for a holster case. But, wouldn't meet some of other's requirements, as it would be quite bulky plus thick. [relatively speaking of course]

According to the size chart on their website - I don't believe that sleeve would even be long enough? It says 5.35" meanwhile the Nexus 4 would be about 5.47. The other dimensions I guess can stretch?

Well the actual dimensions of S3 are "5.38 x 2.78 x 0.34 in". Hence, I feel that the dimensions mentioned are not accurate. Plus the dimensions we are having are approximations. I hope someone who has N4 with bumper can accurately measure and give the dimensions , so that we can have a much better idea. Let's wait and see.

Thanks for checking in with us. You'd probably have to go with a bigger size because our #76 size is meant to be a snug fit the Nexus 4 naked, i.e. without case. So anything bigger would be too tight or not fit at all.
You're on the right track to give me the new measurements of your phone with case on. Based on those specs, it looks like the closest fit would be our #84 size which was made for the Samsung Galaxy Note (5.78" x 3.26" x 0.38" in).

I wanted to take a moment to give review of the Poetic Slimbook Case for the Nexus 4. Their is already a general discussion thread concerning this case located: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2006671. In contrast to the general discussion thread, I wanted to compare the Poetic case to the other possible flip cover option made by Nillkin.
General Description:
The Poetic Slimbook has a smooth textured leather type exterior that feels good to the touch. It is black in color with white stitching. The case has a solid feel and the clasp uses a magnet to keep the case closed. The front cover can hold three credit cards as well as an opening for cash or larger items. Additionally the front cover is reinforced to ensure it retains its shape even when stuffed full. The phone is held in place using a plastic molded holder. This holder has no padding, but does do the job of retaining your phone. The holder is adhered to another reinforced leather type back. The back has cut outs for camera as well as speaker. You have access to your phone's power button when the case is closed. To ensure access to the volume buttons with the case closed Poetic replaced leather on the interior edge with a felt type material.
Price: Currently $10.95 at http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Slimbo...55313&sr=8-1&keywords=poetic+slimbook+nexus+4
The Nillkin case is a stark contrast to the Poetic Slimbook. Nillkin designed this case to be slim and premium. First off it should be noted that this case comes with a front and rear screen protector. I would compare the quality to my Clarivue clear screen protector that I already reviewed on XDA. The case is amazingly thin. Seriously it is as thin as my s-line tpu case. The feel in the hand is very solid and it has a ton of grip. The phone also snaps into a plastic molded holster. The difference is that the plastic holster is a little thicker and has the textured leather backing applied directly to it. The flip cover has a smooth textured felt lining and sits completely flat along the front. It does not have a tendency to flop open when not intended. The front has a cut out for the front speaker. The back has cut outs for the camera as well as rear speaker.
Price: $16.99 (US Seller) at http://www.ebay.com/itm/370717427970?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649.
Comparison:
First I will tell you I did take the time to use both of these cases for a few days before I posted this review. From initial impressions I thought the Nillkin case was a clear winner. It is amazingly thin and feels better than any other case I have ever owned. I love that it has a cut out for the front speaker and I can confirm that it works well closed while on phone calls. Another great feature about the Nillkin case is that it does work with my Energizer Qi charger. The Poetic does not. I can say is that I was shocked how much I liked the Poetic case once I tried is out as my daily. It is extremely convenient to have my cash, credit cards, ID card and drivers license all in one thin location. Fully loaded the Poetic case felt firm, well built and fantastic! I carried mine with 5 bills folded in half. I placed my drivers license in the back large pocket with the cash. I then used 2 credit card slots. It was about an inch thick. I found that if you place 3 cards in the front the case bulges substantially. I would expect this to improve as the case breaks in. I did not have a problem with the magnet keeping the case closed. I would recommend having a front screen protector on when using this case. The credit cards sit directly on the screen.
One thing I found interesting was that I was not able to actually change my volume with the Poetic case closed. It was a combination of not being able to find the buttons, and also the material being to stiff. In contrast I was able to press the volume buttons with the Nillkin case closed. This is not an advertised feature, but it worked well. Another design feature I found to be particularly helpful was the clasp on the Poetic case. When I set the case on a flat surface with the face up the clasp actually leaves enough of a gap underneath to prevent the muffling of the speaker. I know this was not by design, but I did find it helpful.
Which to choose?
When I bought my Poetic case it was $4.95. At that price I would say to without a doubt get both cases. When I am wearing my work uniform I like the Poetic. With jeans on I like the Nillkin. Now that the price is over $10.00 for the Poetic, it is much harder to justify. I paid a little more for the Nillkin case because I wanted it before I left for vacation. I still think it is worth the $16.99 price. Over the next few weeks as more sellers start to sell the Nillkin case I would actually recommend buying the $19.99 actual leather (smooth textured) Nillkin case. It would have the same design with a little higher material choice for a minimal price increase. If you wear loose clothes and can manage the size of the Poetic case it is extremely convenient (or use a back pocket if your ego can handle it). I would just wait for a price drop. If you like minimal bulk and want the screen protected the Nillkin is a great choice.
Please let me now if you would like any different pictures. Hit the thanks if this helped.
*Update* I wanted to give a quick update on the poetic case. I just finished using this case during a 10 day vacation in Hawaii. The poetic case was my daily. It went with me to every corner of Oahu from hikes to dinners to boat cruises, this case was it. I wanted to test the durability of the case as far as wear and break in as well as the strength of the plastic holder. I took the phone out at lease 2 times a day in my condo.
This case is amazing. While the nillkin case is starting to show wear and dirt the poetic case can hold more, and lies even more flat. I carried: 5-6 bills folded, 4 ID's, 1-2 credit cards at all times. This case always remained closed and lied as flat as it did with much less during my initial review. It folds back on itself very well for phone calls and the plastic phone holder is showing no sign of wear. I will post more details when I get back from the airport.
This looks awesome. Thank you for the link. Looking forward to your impressions on the case.

Ooooh, a comparison
If I had cash to blow I'd just buy this on top of my usual TPU case. Sorta want the hard leather one too cause it seems more protective. If anyone gets either cases please do a short review on the defensive capabilities of those cases. Interested in these cause it gives a little defense for the screen too.

Man I love how all these new accessories are so cheap right now. Buying a bunch to increase resale value for when the new nexus comes out

I ordered both of these! I also ordered the Poetic bumper for the N4. They have it on Amazon for $6, but it won't be in stock until Dec. 30th. Still, $6 over $20 + shipping on the Play Store is a great deal. I'll just wait it out.
Received my case 2 days ago. I will post a review this evening.

I have been using Sena cases for a couple of years now and was looking for a nice case for my new Nexus 4. I spoke with Sena on Monday to find out when the Nexus 4 case would be available to buy, and was told sometime in January. I already have a Galaxy Nexus Sena Ultra Slim Leather Case, but it would not fit well. So, if there is anyone like myself who can not wait, I compared the dimensions of the Nexus 4 to the phones that Sena has cases already available for, and decided to purchased the HTC One X case and it fits wonderfully. It is a little longer than the Nexus 4, but that will give it better protection when dropping it. My Galaxy Nexus case I bought from Sena didn't even fit as well as this does. If you don't like it, Sena gives you a 2 week full return and refund. Both pictures have the Nexus 4 inside the case.

Very nice! Thanks for the photos.
Easy to get the N4 in and out using the One X case?

Yes, and even easier than the Galaxy Nexus was with the case made for it after 6 month of usage.
After I broke my Galaxy Nexus, my Sena Slim case is lying around. I was hoping it might fit the Nexus 4, but it doesn't as you mention. Can you post some pictures so I could see how bad the fit is?
Thanks.
Do you use the phone in the leather case in your pockets? I love the look of that one and I hate the idea of covering up the beautiful N4 design with a TPU case. But i'm still trying to figure out how I use the leather case in day-to-day use.

Sorry, I sold my Galaxy Nexus last night with the case.

I only use the case for carrying. When in my home and office, I place my phone on a Clingo universal dock.
I guess I'm asking if the leather case is slim enough to get in and out of jeans pockets.

Yes, very easily. They are very thin, but very durable.
It's not a case, just a pouch.
Personally I don't get why people get riled up about pouches. This one seems rather elegant so it seems like something I would use.
But the Mofi pouch... it's just an overpriced bag... You can get the materials for less than a dollar and it would only take an hour to cut and sew the punch yourself. The same can't be said for bumpers or TPU cases, or this leather pouch.
So what do you pouch users do with the pouch when you're using the phone? Slip it in your pocket? Hold it behind the phone? That's one of the reasons I bought a case, the Poetic Slimbook. It's leather and protects all parts of the phone, and in use the flap just has to be folded back behind the phone.

I paid $4.24 for mine, shipping included.
One hour of my time is worth more than $3.24. And that's if I could even do a proper job sewing.

When in travel, I will put the case in one of my jacket pockets or in one of my back pockets. This is so I can hold and feel the phone, not the case.
BTW, how does the Poetic Slimbook case hold the phone? In the pictures on Amazon, I can't tell how it is attached to the case? Are there straps?

Do you have a
Mofi pouch? I didn't really delve too much into that thread, but the OP had it quoted at $12. Way more than you'd pay for even a nice leather case. But at less than $5, thats not bad. Although I wouldn't consider it a value for the Mofi. The leather pouch in this thread seems quite nice and would be a steal at $5.

I think it's held in place by a hard plastic case. Search YouTube for "Poetic Slimbook iPhone 5" and you'll get a better idea of how it looks and functions. I posted the video review I found in one of the Poetic threads. Should be in my post history.

I'm a long term user of Sena cases, and I love them.
The first one I got was for my beloved iPhone 2G, may it RIP. The Sena slim pouch is a really well made quality product that I can warmly recommend to anyone.
I'm struggling with only a screen protector right now, so let's hope It'll be released for the nexus soon.

Just received this same case (HTC One X) for my Nexus 4 and the case is very tight causing the power button to push on as I slide the phone into the case. I almost feel it is unusable unless it stretches some....
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
It'll stretch out. I also bought the HTC One X ultra slim and after about a day my power and volume buttons were not being depressed as often. By the second or third day, it fit perfectly snug without depressing the power button.
I found the best way to remove the phone from the pouch is to hold the front and back of the phone about halfway down and push the bottom the the phone up. Push until enough of the top is exposed where you can grip the top sides and pull out of the pouch.

Just ordered this case. It was between this and the Waterfield Suede Jacket (cheaper, not made of real leather if you care about that). Thanks to the OP for the photos and the tip. For anyone else interested there's a 20% coupon code for Sena that worked for me: PCWIPNK11. Just found it by searching online.
I'm having second thoughts about this case. Got it in the mail today. It is very tight. I had a hard time getting the phone out, after the first time I used it. I mean, a really hard time.
I know there's a break in period. However, because the leather is not very soft or pliable the pieces of leather that are folded in, at the edges of the case on the inside, where the case is sown together, rub pretty hard against the sides of the phone as you slide it in and out. (They held down my power key effectively enough to turn the phone off.)
I'm concerned over time these rough tabs of leather will scuff up the rubbery material on the sides of the Nexus 4. Even putting the phone in the case once and pulling it out, seemed to make some very minor (hard to see) scuffs. I don't want the break in period itself to damage the edges of the phone. And even after that, given the rough feel of these tabs of leather, I wonder if they'll scratch the edges of the phone.
I'm not expecting the phone to stay perfect forever, but I don't think a case acquired to protect the case should potentially be scuffing it up instead. I can see how it wouldn't be a problem with a phone that had sides made of smoother plastic or metal material. But I'm not sure the rubbery material on the Nexus 4 is going to hold up to abrasion very well.
I see now why many of the other higher quality leather cases fold the sewn together edges outward, away from the inner pocket for the phone.
The EVO 3d I'm using as a temp while I wait for my 4 is small enough to comfortably put in my pocket. My Note 2 was not. and the 4 is bigger...
I have been a fan of the Seido Surface cases in the past but the one weak point is the belt clip.
I've broken so many of them that it's ridiculous. I went through 4 holsters in 2 years on my Note 2 alone.
And I do not even want to add up the holsters on prior phones..
I need something metal that can take a small bump. I'd like a semi thin case like the surface but the holster has to be strong.
Can anyone recommend a sturdy clip on holster case?
Have you thought of moving to a leather holster case? I was in the same boat until I went to a leather combo with a metal clip.

I have tried some holster cases but they were either to clumsy to retrieve and store from quickly , or the clips were terrible like the rest.
Since I have never owned an Otter box I cant speak factually, but they have always seemed so bulky and the poly clip looks the same as the rest. Are the clips actually more durable compared to say the Seido clips?
There pretty much the same I've broke a few Otterbox's also….. Check out Turtleback Holster Leather Case fits Samsung Galaxy Note 3 without a Protective Case, interior fits 5 7/8" X 3 1/4" X 3/4" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I9LM2VW/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_zlcnub0RDDPV2
Although they're not yet released Seidio has several models available w/ holster.

I love the Seidio case/holster combos! (Specifically the Surface with Holster) My past two phones, however, have been the slip case/holster combo sold in the Verizon store for around $24.95. The reason I went with those is two-fold: It was available right away when I purchased the phone, and it is just slim and protective enough that it doesn't make my large phone into a gargantuan phone.
My Note2 in either an otterbox defender or trident aegis case lives in one of these. It's quite adjustable. Normally I have the retention strap removed unless I know I'm going to be in odd locations and I think it may fall out, though I'd have to be upside down for that to happen, but I've found myself in that position for work sometimes... I've broken every plastic clip from three different vendors, so this was the strongest holster I could find. Pretty sure I'll break before it does.

What is the lanyard/cord for at the top? It looks easily removable but wondering what purpose it serves.

These are actually made for two way radios like military and police carry, so the strap is to keep it in place.

That link doesn't state it's for a Note 4 but the fact that it's a preorder leads me to believe it is although when you navigate to the Note 4 page on Seidio's website almost everything states "under development".

Other thing is Best Buy sells a comparable case made for them by Seidio for $20 less but they don't have them in stock yet. BB calls it a Platinum Series.

I have no idea. Maybe someone can give them a call or shoot over a email asking about the convert cases for the note. I'm more into slim type cases because I think it just looks more clean and I don't like the extra bulk, I usually don't drop my phones.

I called them last week and they said there was no ETA for the Convert combo. I noticed the Surface has the release date on Seidio's Note 4 webpage and I look at it daily so I'm hoping the Convert combo gets a release date soon.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MP3OWVI/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3RZJ9YYQ3ASDK
If it doesn't I'm going to order the above case as it's the only one I could find with covers for the mini USB, S Pen & headphone ports with a holster but it doesn't have a kickstand. Amazon shows an ETA of 10-27 in my shopping cart so I'm holding off ordering it hoping the Seidio will become available in that time frame.
Now the other problem with the Seidio is apparently no one offers a tempered glass screen protector that covers the flat portion of the screen without the halo effect.

I was looking at the supcase also but it's the bulk that bugs me.. The note is already a big phone... I'll be using this ebay case plus clip until I get a seidio.

Not really a bad case... Just needed a belt clip for my note cuz I carry 2 phones, cigarettes, lighter, Chapstick, keys and wallet on me all the time lol. The only flaw with the ebay one is that it's not very pretty, but I'll choose that over a bulky case any day.

I've got to get something soon as I'm deathly afraid of dropping this expensive phone and damaging it. Actually I wouldn't have minded waiting another month or so to get the phone so I could have had the case beforehand but the $200 trade in deal was too good to pass up. A case with button covers is much easier for me to use too as I'm always accidentally touching the side buttons and I can grip the phone better.
What case is everyone using?
Exactly what the title asks.
This is not a thread for what you think is the best case out there. This thread is for you to post what case/s you use and your experiences with it/them.
It is also to help other users find new cases that they may like.
This thread will also be used for cleaning up the clutter of people starting new threads asking about cases they should use.
Maybe include a link if you think it's good.
Right now, I am naked and so is my phone. Only have a tempered glass protector on it.
As of now, the options will be limited, but this thread will explode as more cases become available.
No case, and no screen protector for me on any of my devices. Have never had a scratch or any other damage to any of my phones.
My Spigen Neo Hybrid Came in today - and I am very impressed with the quality of this case. I had the Spigen Neo Hybrid on my S5 and S4 and while I liked the case for those phones, the aluminum shell was kind of flimsy and while it looked good - it was not as durable as I might have liked - in fact the metal around the hole for the battery broke on one of the cases I was using.
After getting the new Neo Hybrid case, it looks and feels more like a premium case - the metal surrounding the case is very solid and has a very premium feel to it. All in all it adds a very nice level of protection without adding bulk - and it keeps that very high end feel that comes with the NOTE 4 outside of the case.
FYI - I have also installed a BODY GLOVE Screen Protector - it took a little getting used to at first - it does not cover the glass from side to side because of the curved edges - but it does cover the viewing area quite well and looks good too.

I got talked into a case at the T-Mobile store. They only had one to choose from, the Samsung S-View Flip Cover. I'm really liking it. The shell is thin and slightly hard, and I can access customized settings through the window without having to open the case.
It was $50, and at first I was going to go back and return it but after having it for a day I'm going to keep it.

I an still probably going to buy a case just to have some protection before Otterbox gets released. And If sprint store doesn't honor Samsung coupon, then when the online order shows up, I'm returning original back to sprint...
I'm waiting for Seidio to release their Dilex cases. Had one for the note 3 and I love the metal kickstand. I'm hesitant on buying the Spigen Slim/Tough armor because I'm hearing bad things about the plastic kickstand.
Received my Neo Hybrid in Satin Silver, it is really nice, just need phone to put in it
I went with the White Spigen Slim Armor case for now, and may order the Slate or Champagne Gold (or both) later.

Using a Spigen Neo Hybrid Metal Slate case on my Note 4 right now. Otterbox Commuter case is ordered and on its way. Using Ringke screen protector(from Ringke fusion).
To hold me until I find something more protective that gets substantial positive feed-back, I'm now using the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Crystal Clear that I bought during the (now dead?) Spigen early-morning sales for $3.49 + $3.00 shipping. So far so good.
I'm using Spigen Ultra Hybrid case too. But is mint on the grip with clear back.

Before 2010, i used screen protectors and cases, because old smartphones (and PDAs) would scratch easily, not the case anymore, and since 2010 my phones is naked 100%
I keep jumping back and forth between naked and the Grey S-View.
Mostly the Spigen capsule in metal slate, the first of many Spigen cases i liked. And now the Obliq rugged slim case in Grey.

I ordered that one too, waiting for it to arrive in a few days. What I am looking forward to see is a case (like on my Note2) that replaces the back cover and only has a flap that covers the screen. This type of "case" is the thinnest and for me the most interesting. they are not available yet for the Note 4 though. here is a video of what I mean
I'll get my body glove satin case in black color in early of November, but won't be able to photo it with the phone, I'm waiting for samsung in my country release it's bronze gold color. lol
That will take long time

ill have it by the 30th
Hello All
My company just got me a Note 9 and I am trying to find a belt clip leather pouch that will take it with a Otterbox Defender over it.
I purchased this one from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HLFV6JC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 …as it said it was oversized for it, but when I got it I found it to be way to tight and while perhaps it might wear in over time, given how tight it is I think it’s going to take really long time.
Amazon does list this one as working with the Otterbox: https://www.amazon.com/Galaxy-Note-...=B0798Y764V&psc=1&refRID=6CN3CSN161D3GSTS7DC9 …but even if it does this one has lots of bad reviews of the clip breaking off very soon and since I work and use this phone in a pretty physically demanding job that probably would get old soon.
At any rate, thought would post here to see if anyone had any better sources for something along the same setup.
Thanks for any help
PDAIR has three different size horizontal belt pouches. One for Note 9 in no case, one for Note 9 in slim case, and one for Note 9 in armour case. For reference, I use the official Samsung Rugged Protective case on my Note 9, and I purchased the pouch for 'slim case' - it just fits neatly after a little stretching out. I would suggest you look at the pouch for armour cases:
https://www.pdair.com/samsung-galax...holster-case---in-large-armor-protective-case
It says the maximum case size is: Compatible with Large Size Armor Protective Case Cover (Support Mix. Size - Case with Device : Approximately 168mm x 78.70 mm x 15.00mm)
If your case is within 1-2mm of that size you could probably get away with it after some time stretching the pouch out.
They also do vertical pouches for the Note 9 in three sizes for different cases.
I liked my horizontal one so much I bought a second as a spare. It's very neat, not as bulky as some other designs.
