Works Really well. Nice find bookmarking your page!

Been waiting for this! Excited to check it out this evening
Gotta get some Earthbound action on the Surface!

yay... MS approves a game emulator, prepare to see more game emulator on stores.

Now this is a must have!

Installed this last night and was very pleased. It could use a few more settings (such as being able to adjust filters for the video) but it's a great step forward since it's designed for touchscreen use!

thx

But, no support of the gamepad input ?
I tryed with my saitek gamepad (drivers are ok) but nothing append

Does this include wireless controllers?

I've just done a video on this which might answer some questions and at least illustrate it to you.

Awesome app. Seems kinda lagggy sometimes. Although I'm not sure that's the best word to describe it. The sound is weird sometimes too...but awesome app nonetheless

thk you !

Any Wii wireless classic controller work?

I know the Datel Retro Wireless controller works, it's been verified, but i believe from what i see at Amazon and Best Buy, it's sold out or discontinued.
I'd like to get something similar for a trip i'm taking, so my question is will any wireless Wii classic controller work for the Xoom? Or should it?
e.g. Amazon.com: Thrustmaster T-Wireless Gamepad for Nintendo Wii: Video Games

I am still waiting on my Xoom to arrive but on my Evo I use the official classic controller with analog sticks with the wiimote app and it works great. The only downside is that it has to be plugged into the wii remote as it isn't a stand-alone controller. This is why I am looking forward using my Xbox controllers now.
Isaac in Best Buy the other day and saw a wireless gamecube controller in the wii accessories section. Not sure if it would work, but worth checking into. I use the Datel controller, if you Google it you can still find it.
wireless gamecube controller dont work because they arent bluetooth. they have an adaptor that plugs into a gamecube port. Try to find the datel retro wireless, it's the best options. You can get them on datel.com. I bought mine from another xda'er.

That's the one. If you get it I would recommend going over to the "Xoom Accessories" forum and looking up the thread on the Datel controller. They discuss a must have mod for the controller to really work well.
Edit: Here is the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13018984&postcount=28 I did the mod myself, it was easy to do and made a noticable difference.

Play games on ur x10 using Dualshock 3 (playstaion 3 controller)

Guys the app by which you can play games using PLAYSTATION 3 controller is out.
Compadable with x10
http://www.dancingpixelstudios.com/sixaxiscontroller/about.html
The site is the official app site and they say:
Due to the non-standard protocol that the controllers use to communicate with the host, this application requires root access. Additionally, it is incompatible with most HTC devices and some newer Samsung devices. This is due to the required bluetooth protocol not being implemented on these devices. We are actively looking into a work around, but currently the only solution is to install a custom firmware, such as Cyanogenmod, that supports the required protocols.
At the time only emuator games can be played.
U must find a bt certificate for x10 , then it will work. I dont know that this cert is

this is awesome
now i need a ps3 controller
This was a long time coming, great news.
The Wiimote has been compatable for over a year, and I've used it prior to DualTouch for some SNES gaming, but the DualShock gamepad has a much nicer feel.
Cool!
Awn man, it should be a xbox controller, I have 2 of those!
you know what would be awesome? if the x10 had TV output, combined with this sixaxis app it would transform it into a little console.
I've tryed the compatibility app and it worked, i'll save this for a future reference, my next purchase will probably be a phone with HDMI out.

it only works with the current emulators eg psx4droid etc... not working for gameloftgames and the likes. i tried coz im having tons of frustration with backstab they have freaking levels that require you to jump but u just can't -.- with x10s crappy dual touch... feel kinda let down that it only works with emu tho...
Niice! Will try it out ASAP!

Using controller for emulators

Hi guys, I'm really interested in getting an emulator such as FPse, but I'm wondering if my xbox 360 will work with it. If not, will a bluetooth game controller do the job? Thanks for the help!
i never tried a xbox 360 controller but my ps3 controller works perfect with sixaxis controller
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
A wired Xbox 360 controller works pretty well with SuperGNES emulator, haven't tried it with FPSe yet.
I'm not sure if a wireless one would work though
If you're using the PS3 controller there's a new site that users can share and upload profiles for the best Android games. It's called Sixaxisofpower lol
http://phandroid.com/2012/09/27/new...on-maps-for-paired-playstation-3-controllers/
I use usb joystick center. Works with most usb controllers, I use wii mote tho in wireless. It also has a touch to joystick addon that allows you to map button pushes to specific touch points on the screen. Its really phenomenal software. I play Max Payne and GTA3 with a wii classic controller pro plugged into a wii mote[gives you more buttons to map than Ps3 and XBOX controllers]. It does take some patience to learn the app, its customizable every way you can think of.

Game controller Gamepad for Nexus Player

Not sure if anyone else went this route, but I decided to pickup the Gamepad for Nexus Player TV video game controller https://play.google.com/store/devices/details/Gamepad_for_Nexus_Player?id=nexus_player_gamepad&hl=en and can confirm it works very well with android games with controller support on the Nexus 9. Its made by ASUS and seems to be a very nice quality controller. I have yet to try it with any emulators yet though.

Yes, I too picked up an Nexus Player Gamepad. My initial thought was hey, it's Bluetooth so it should work! And it did, now I don't need to fuss around with my PS3 controller Though I'm a little disappointed it cant pair with my Nexus 5.
With ppsspp it works great, all the buttons auto map to the emulator.
Great to hear
I ordered one speclatively, but it's great to know it wil work so well
Cheers

reenrolled the controller with the 9's ID and play!
im thinking of buying the gamepad for nexus player .. is it easy to pair??
Will the Shield Gamepad work too?
So I bought a cheapo and I've managed to break it and it would not hook up to the pc before it died.
So in all I'm looking for more of a full proof package. Shield or Nexus Player gamepad. I'd like it too to work with my pc, this doesnt have to be wireless... Thanks for any replies.
Has nayone tested this with any emulators yet, does it work well?

Has someone managed to make a Xbox One gamepad work on Nexus 9 ? I don't know how to do, it works on my Xperia Z2 with KK but on Lollipop it seems it doesn't.
I have the Nyko Play Pad Pro. I bought it for the Nexus Player, but it works with everything. Last I saw they are like $13 at Gamestop.

I just bought this a few minutes ago. Really looking forward to getting this controller! Looks to be a great investment.
Does this pad work on any android phones or Nexus only?
And can it be used on any games/emus?
Works on emus also?

[Q] Game Controllers?

Anyone have advice on using a game controller with the phone? I'd really like to find something that has a clip to hold the phone while playing, too. Is bluetooth the way to go? Or just plugging in a USB controller?
If you have a PS3 controller laying around SixAxisPairTool is a great app. I've used it with my S3 & S5 to connect wired and wirelessly to my android phone. Not sure if its compatible with the S6 though. Other than that I dont have any knowledge of available gaming controllers.
You should be able to connect a ps4 controller without the need of the sixaxis pair app and all the buttons will be mapped. I'll try tonight when I get home.
What if I'm an Xbox person rather than a Playstation person?

Nice.
I had the MOGA and absolutely hated it. I forgot the exact reason, I wanna say it was something with the bluetooth pairing and lack of support, but it was a year or two ago. All I know is I won't give it another try any time soon.
Good to know. Thanks for the feedback. None of these things seem to have great reviews.
The PS3 controller worked best for me, considering I already had one laying around, it cost me exactly $0.

I only did a quick skim of the reviews because I'm not going to buy one, but it looks like all of the negative reviews are on apple devices.
