Hello. First message
Can anyone know how make in android 2.3 (Cyanogenmod 7, HTC HD2) volume pop-up like in Cyanogenmod 10? I mean when you press volume control buttons android show you windows with controls sounds for in-call, apps, ringtone, alarms etc.
I want have change speaker settings when ex. play games and not press home button. I dont want widget because when I play game I can't launch it. I want replace volume pop-up
Sorry for my bad english.

Hello,
I have xperia x10 mini pro (the old one) and I recently installed android 2.3 - this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=15292943 "SonyBread V8 (based on MiniCM7)" my phone says.
Now before I did that, my volume up/down buttons changed ringtone volume from nothing, trough vibrations only to vibration and some sound level.
Now I can't turn volume down to nothing. It just stops on Vibrations only and it seems like it lacks the total quiet state without vibrations.
I don't know, where are settings for that, if I can change it via setting, or app or widget or if it's somewhere deep in system but I personally hate it.
Ok, I managed to find that this isn't a bug, it's a feature of newer Android and it looks like it cannot be changed via app/widget but trough android framework... how uncool is that.
Hi, i'm using a GB custom rom and i want the aokp feature which when you press volume key, it shows an option to expand the volume settings and change the volume for other things. For example when in homescreen i press volume to change ringtone, i want to be able to change media volume from homescreen, or an office app...
Please help me make a mod that do this!! (do'nt even know where to start)
Or i could use the volume key to change only media volume instead of ringer/media.
I looked for this on internet and there's a lot of threads of people wanting this, but not even one with a solution...
It can't be made?
No one? Come on people

I want this too
Sent from my HTC Intruder using my brain.
Hello friend.
I had the same problem and today I found the solution. I use Resurrection Remix too.
I had downloaded an app called NOYZE that did the trick.
There's some details, tough. The app isn't in the play store and only expands the panel with pro version activated. So I downloaded it using Blackmart and activated pro using LuckyPatcher.
It overrides the normal volume panel and is very useful.
Check it out if you can.
How can I set Volume buttons to control ONLY "Music, video, games and other media"?
Hi, there's one thing I really hate about Smartphones, and it's the Volume button and it's function. Sometimes I accidentally press it and the phone goes from Mute to Sound, it changes the volume of the ringtone, etc.
So, If you go to Settings, Sound, Volumes, you see:
1. Music, video, games and other media
2. Ringtone
3. Notifications
4. System
I want that when I press the volume button, it only changes the volume of "Music, video, games and other media". I don't want it to change the mode of the phone, or the sound of the ringtone or whatever.
What can I do?
By the way, I have a Samsung Galaxy Core II with Android 4.4.2, though this is a generic question. THANKS!
Solved!
I did it installing Xposed framework and GravityBox, so awesome.
I know this may be trivial to some bit I rally like that key press tone, but when though I set it to max in the settings of both my phone and the app, is very silent, anyone has an idea why?
I have a phone with very customized ROM (Flyme) and I'm trying to find a way to force volume buttons to control Ringtone/Notification volume instead of Media volume.
I know there is a way to perform this, thanks to an Xposed module, but my phone can't be rooted. Can it be done without root and without one of those many volume controlling apps that show a widget or a persistent notification with different profiles? I just need to press hardware buttons to control those volumes.
[If you ask me why I need this is because ROM devs are stupid (at least Flyme devs, but I know Oreo "benefits" from this great feature) and didn't think that Media volume should change only if some Media is playing. If no Media is playing, why someone would need to change Media volume? I thought these are smartphones, not dumbphones and I was expecting to do smart things, like detecting when Media is playing and changing the volume accordingly. I guess I was wrong...]
You can get noyze volume panel that works with accessibility controls, you can fins the app on github or google noyze volume panel (no root required), it has extended panel in options which makes sense for android as even pie has the worse volume controls than kitkat.
