Well, I would make the point on the device. We have a 1 GHz Qualcomm MSM7227A processor single core and only 380 mb of Ram effective. So the device despite the excellent screen runs a little slowly. The latest operating system JB seemed a good starting point for some improvements. I tried to install the CM 10 FXP that almost works but is little tweaked and AOSP that runs even less than CM10. For me the problem with the mod roms is that I can not get the network and so I can not use the phone.
So I worked on the stock rom, for which my biggest problem is that I can not install a CWM recovery permanently ...
First step: get support init.d
Second step: V6 SuperCharger by Zep.
Third step: added a few other tweaks in init.d, including kernel and gpu tweaks.
I also added Project Butter tweak but quadrant score dropped so I removed it ...
Device has the bootloader unlocked, rooted, and Bravia Engine 2 installed via CWM.
Waiting for the JB Vengeance kernel, see what happens ...

OK:
For init.d support, download therm-init.sh v2 from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1933849
(bottom page) and run it with a script manager.
For the V6 SuperCharger:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276
(For 100% SuperCharger entries, need to patch /framework/services.jar with JellyScreamPatcherV6_0.9.0.6.7z).
For other init.d mod reference to the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1369817.
For some build prop tweaks proper for Qualcomm Snapdragon:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1578065.
Remember to thank them all and then try. Let's see your benchmarks!
And Now OC!
Got last jb Vengeance kernel and...
(first score, not yet perfectly tweaked)
See Screenshots!
Hi to all. Now stable over 2600 in Quadrant.
Added new advanced Xperia Z launcher from ra3al really nice, see thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2103403
for better sound also Awesome BEATS Enhancer.
My mod:
Xperia J, stock kernel, rooted, Bravia 2, 100% V6 SuperCharged, Project Butter in init.d.
For online backup (cause we do not have room for CWM in bootloader), installed onandroid backup, see thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1620255
All works fine, launcher, apps, games...
Remember to thank the developers,

If u all want than I can make ROM for xperia j
The ROM name is paradox see here
It is already for miro and tipo and it has removed lags in every day usage
And almost no lag in games on tipo......
Problem is that I can only make it on ICS 7.5FW though I will include all features of jellybean like Google now also xperia z theme etcetc..
And I can bet that this ROM will remove any lag
and will improve benchmark score and specially nenamark2 and nenamark1
If u want then post in the ROM thread I need at least 6 request I will start the work:laugh::good:

instruction
-1st u must use twrp recovery- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=27036612 (2.2.1-stable)
-Extract the zip and move/copy the fILE to internal or external sd that have twrp folder [sd/twrp/backup/00000000000/GJOYBREAD folder]
- to have the twrp backup folder u must do a backup for ur current rom. For new user that swich to twrp for the 1st time, backup ur current rom/data/system/boot the only u can find the backup folder on twrp folder.
- enter recovery then go to restore.choose where the location that u copy the GJOYBREAD folder
- tick restore system and boot
- after restore finish do factory reset then reboot
Note:
do not restore ur data from recovery for clean rom. Use titanium backup - abstrack ur data from nandroid or store manually.
No screenshot bcause this absolute stock samsung rom..only tweaked for sound and perfomance
To see if init.d is working go to data/local/tmp/test init.d file. If present it works. To see full log of init.d process fo to data/ user log.if u see error on my rom init.d script dont wory just leave it bcause it works even show error( test it many times).
Due bug during flashing process on some user.. i decide to use restore from twrp that suppose avoiding that problem and gave more clean rom.
if ur music have strange sound just change governor from ondemand(default) to conservative using cpu master or something similar.
Im using this rom my self and so far im not having any bug or issues.
If any user find a bug just report it here.
I will not answer for theme or oc kernel or anything..my objective was for pure stock but with perfomance. If u want thats alot of custom rom/ kernel avaiable in this forum...just search..
Below i attach antutu benchmark test of this rom.

Deodexing only decreases the boot time. Every time you reboot it will take longer than usual.
That's all. Performance won't be worse than an odexed ROM. It's just easier to edit system files, because of the missing odex.

For starters use Xboost or Termin then Install some init.d scripts like Darky Zipalign and the 99 Kickasskernelizer

@MatsPunt

Thnks for the credits
If I use the SystemUI.apk from the SS-version of this ROM in XBoosT, will the ugly yellow coloured network signal go away, and my phone will stop whining that my SIM card is SIM1?
If so,since downloading a 250 MB zip isn't exactly efficient or quick, could someone please upload the SystemUI.apk from the SS-version?(special request to @UltraGamerHD) XBoosT for single sim variants has not been released yet.
Thanks in advance,
KDB
