i tried on cm10.1
btw it works for stock roms as well as cm roms

and it really helped in improving performance

just boot into recovery then wipe cache and dalvic cache and
reboot your system..
hope it helps!!
amd btw there are two scripts
one for stock roms and one for cm roms
so make sure you flashed cm version

problm solved thanks

Process.android.media gets force closed whenever i try to open stock file manager,any music player or gallery..any solutions?
I dont wanna uninstall this script coz my phone is really lag free now

Good try but after installing this .. performance got worst and idk the reason but the
seeder app is asking me super user permissions even though i'm using it with su
permissions from many days. wort thing is even i'm allowing it by su its saying
no su permissions so seeder is not on.

[Q] Changing Kernel

Hey can any one tell me How Can i change a custom ROM's kernel using kernel from other Custom ROM's.....

Well for that,you will have to make sure that the other kernel
Supports this Rom..
If it is okay, just unzip the Rom using 7zip and then replace the boot.img with your new boot.img..
Or just flash the kernel via fastboot and then flash the Rom (remove the boot.img from it)
From recovery..

Got FXP working With Every thing Fixed...

Can I ask if anyone tried putting a cm kernel in place of a stock kernel inside a ftf file and flash it with flashtools? And install the proper cm zip file in /system partion? I have an Xperia J with locked bootloader.
Any help would be appreciated as i googled and everyone says cm will only go on unlocked bootloader.

is the home button working???

If you want a CM kernel, first flash the stock ftf and then flash CM kernel using fastboot on UL BL.
But i dont think CM kernel is yet gsm stable for xperia J. If its stable please let me know!

Thx for replying, I seen the paranoid Rom ported for the J using cm10 my problem is that my bootloader is permanently locked so can't use fastboot I think, that's why I was thinking of merging the kernel into a ftf so can be flashed....

I flashed CM 10.1 ROM on my XJ and also it has so much free RAM but the only problem is that it doesnt support any headphone! Amd i listen to Music all the time so it it dint work for me.. Plus thr stock camera app was not working... Though i solved the no gsm problem by flashing vengance kernel.

Installation:
-Make sure your phone is 100% charged(to be safe).
-E single users: make sure you’re on the 11.3.A.2.23 firmware. If not, flash it(see: Downloads)

-Boot into your recovery. When the blue led lights up hit the volume rockers a few times.
-MAKE A NANDROID!

-After the installation is completed, immediately flash the AROMA installer. No need to wipe anything, just flash it. Choose your apps and after that reboot.
-Reboot.
-If you chose Viper4Android as soundenhancement open it, and tap Cortex A8 with Neon. Reboot.

I found a tutorial to implement the files.Not sure if it's 100% working, though... But it won't hurt. At least it's faster than stock.
Q: do you know a proper deodex way? I manage to deodex everything but when I want to baksmali the framework_ext.jar it says header verification failed. I've tried various method but it won't work!
Sorry for the delayed download. I was in a bootloop and had to revert to a previous version. My bad! You can expect it tomorrow!

I am really grateful of you to make this awesome rom. But i have one doubt. In the last line you say download gravitybox for cool statusbar mods but isn't gravitybox only for cm or aosp roms.
Just asking as it shows in the app description clearly.

1. Uhm, perhaps yes. But it does not have a recovery! I'll look into the kernel part later after I upload Termin V1. Stay tuned!
2. Speed is awesome. Compared to CM10? I dunno. But this ROM won't be filled with bugs (not blaming anyone here!)

i think a deoxed rom is all that's necessary for Gbox ....if its incompitable it wont start (no worries about any crashes)

Nope. Just root and the Xposed framework is needed! That's why I added the Xposed installer!

first attempt on deodex and it worked fine....

4. No. As I said, this is a first release. More functions/mods will be added in next updates .
There are some problems with the updater-script, but I can fix them!

Yes. But it's f****d up completely. Bootloop after bootloop. It was stupid of me to give an ETA... I have to revisit the whole thing, perhaps start a whole new build. I apologize sincerely for the inconvenience. Please keep in mind that this is the first time I build something like this.
My sincere apologies.
Today I will step for step add a mod, flash it and see what causes the bootloops(logcat doesn't help). Tomorrow I have a long schoolday, but the rest of the day I'm going to try to finish it.
This ROM will be released. That's for sure!

I have tried every available firmware and termin Rom but still my phone's ui lags a lot(even after de bloating)...
Please suggest me a good Rom that do not lag..

XboosT is pretty good - I'm using it right now. No bugs, no lags.

For starters use Xboost or Termin then Install some init.d scripts like Darky Zipalign and the 99 Kickasskernelizer
Then you could go on to Supercharging your device and installing Crossbreeder
Performance boost guaranteed

What if we add Google now to ICS?
ROM is decent,but I don't know why,the display is very very bad. I mean,suddenly everything is LQ.

supercharge or pure performance maybe
Include the app which lets you install games/gamedata in ext sd
transparent status bar...
replace album app with gallery maybe? album thumbnails data size is too much...(not sure if app problem though)
lock screens!

UltraGamerHD, NeoTrix and I are working on an ICS based ROM(revision of XboosT) with all the mods you want. We just need some time, and then you can expect the fastest ROM for the E series. All the things you have said will be included and more

Status 7 error while flashing after "finished mounting and dumping rom contents"
EDIT; same error while flashing xboost.... something wrong on my part....
MEGA EDIT:i ftf flashed again ...and everythings normal!

i ftf flashed again ...and everythings back to normal!
thanks anyways! (all my 8 thanks got over....)
EDIT;install successful but only black screen with system ui,working lockscreen....no home launcher(z1 installed)
EDIT: fixed it ...install with aroma again...z1 not working...install mini/kitkat or stock launcher
@UltraGamerHD a google search(with google now) app would be nice.....play store one is incompatible(its 4.1+)

If I use the SystemUI.apk from the SS-version of this ROM in XBoosT, will the ugly yellow coloured network signal go away, and my phone will stop whining that my SIM card is SIM1?
If so,since downloading a 250 MB zip isn't exactly efficient or quick, could someone please upload the SystemUI.apk from the SS-version?(special request to @UltraGamerHD) XBoosT for single sim variants has not been released yet.
