I dislike the new tablet ui for youtube that they have recently changed. So just wonderring if anyone has the old youtube apk
Try this link.
http://www.androiddrawer.com/7215/download-youtube-4-1-47-app-apk/
am I the only one who cant find the fullscreen button with the new youtube when the keyboard is attached? When the keyboard is out then no problems.
That's been reported for all tablets with a key-dock, unfortunately. I believe they're already aware of the issue, and I hope they'll find a solution soon...
thankyou very much, ill be using this till i think the new style is usable to my standards
Just uninstall from GooglePlay Store; it will only uninstall the updates & will keep YouTube on Your tablet

New Google Play Store 3.9.16
What's New
The most notable and immediately apparent new feature is the long overdue ability to remove apps you've previously downloaded from the All Apps list. If you like to try a lot of apps, that list is likely very cluttered. With the new Google Play, you can trim it to your heart's content.
Update #1: You can multi-select by long-pressing any app in the list and then tapping more apps, then delete them all in one go (added 2 new screenshots demonstrating it).
Update #2: The new Play Store now keeps track of your location in lists, including My Apps and All Apps, so when you click into an app and back, it drops you into the same spot. I had variable luck with this, and it didn't seem to work in All Apps at first, but I just reproduced it on both the EVO LTE and the Nexus 7. Brilliant.
Update #3: The notification icon that shows up when you have app updates has changed, and notifications are now expandable. I've added more screenshots showing the differences.
Update #4: The notification icon after installing an app now shows the app icon instead of something generic.
Awesome!

Here's a link to Play Store 3.9.17 from JB 4.2. I'm running it on PA 2.52...working perfectly.

Hi all,
I'm hoping people would share their Paranoid Android UI settings here.
Some of us (me included) are having a very hard time adjusting the UI, including the status and notification areas, correctly on our Tabs.
Thanks!!
//M
Well, I'm not sure what u mean exactly but after lots ofntweaking and testing I have settled for these:
In the launch section I'm on tablet ui(mid)
In the interface section I'm on tablet UI for all(720px - although in actuality 800px is the ideal for our tablet and u can manually modify that in the paranoid conf files if u wish, I didnt)
And for the size values in the interface section I am set to 180 for all..
Then I went to modify certain apps I wld use often: youtube, play store and my launcher
So in the apps section I chose those and adjusted their values to something that makes proper use of our wonderful screen..
Youtube size: 160, layout/ui: 800px
Play store size: 180, layout/ui: 800px
Launcher(go launcher HD) size: 180, layout/ui: 600px
But u can play around with the individual apps to test what the different settings cause, u mostly only need to change these two values..
Another question: I randomly get a screen flicker along the bottom of my screen(only on this rom though), do u get it too by any chance? just wondering..

Thanks for your stuff!
Yes I get the screen flicker, though on the side... also I've had it since sometime now, even before PA.
Not to mention, I'm a victim of SOD... any solution?

Wow, I've heard of the SOD but nvr really had the issue with any of my android devices.. are u having it only with the paranoid rom or with others too?..

Was hoping to test this 2.50 rom on my p6800..
which link is not working... ???? i just download the files from http://goo.im/rss/Androguide
got no problem...
Thanks! .. I was trying the link given from the thread instead of rss.
Download link for any1 who wants it,
There aren't any major changes. In fact, a cursory glance shows it as basically the same as the 4.2 Google apps version except that now you can delete items in your Wishist and you get a new screen when apps are installing. More than likely there are more behind-the-scenes changes as well.

Hi, I'm a noob and have searched the forum before creating this topic. Hope there are no duplicates.
So I was downloading the camera app for my nexus 7 by modaco and it appeared on my home screen. However, there was this kobo books app which appeared too. I did not download it. It just appeared. It was not listed in my apps drawer though. It just appeared on my home screen which I then removed from. When I when to settings>apps, it was not there too. Let me reiterate that I didn't download the app and it appeared on my home screen only and then disappeared after I removed it from the screen. I know this sounds ridiculous, but it seems like my uncle had this problem too. Is it part of some ads posted by other downloaded ad supported apps? Cause this is weird and I hope it isn't a virus or something. I had just uninstalled the camera app by doodle apps and installed the one by modaco. Is it because of the doodle apps camera app? Cause it floods me with lots of ads. This problem is weird I know. But answers would be most appreciated. Thanks.
Noob android fanatic.

Hey guys, thought I'd pass this along. I personally hate the touchwiz calculator on and missed the CM calc on my phone. Found this and works perfectly on our tablet. This calculator also has graphing feature which is a must have for me.
The app is also available on the play store, but is unsupported on our device, luckily the xda page also has a direct download link. Like I said, works flawlessly and is optimized for tablets once it installs.
Here is the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1808887
All credit goes to original poster, I just tested it on our tablet.
Quick instructions:
Make sure you freeze or uninstall the touchwiz calculator then just install the apk and your all set.
Pic shows in multi window
Enjoy guys
