So today I both flashed King Kang and tried to load a custom boot animation. I rebooted multiple times between the two, and once after I loaded the custom animation. The second time I booted with the custom animation, it gets to the animation and then just sits there with the animation.
TL;DR: Worked when I flashed the rom, and once after new boot animation, didn't work after second reboot.
EDIT: Screw it, I just factory reset.
If your hboot version is 1.14 you have to flash the boot.img from the ROM before you reboot.
Fastboot flash boot boot.img

Hello,
I have a HTC One S with twrp recovery.
I tried flashing the Pac-man rom but It kept on the loading screen. I tried different kernels, all didn't work, It kept stuck on the HTC dev screen or on the loading animation.
Now I tried putting on the Paranoid ROM, this one keeps on the loading animation to, with every ~1min. I can see the lock screen for 1-2 seconds and then It dissapears again and the loading animation comes back.
I am on Hboot 2.15, S-ON.
I hope someone can help me with this.

I just put the Paranoid android ZIP on my phone, I made a copy of the boot.img that was in the zip and put it on my computer. When I flashed the ROM and Gapps I wiped cache and Dalvik. I rebooted to bootloader and used the fastboot flash boot boot.img command. After that I rebooted my phone and it kept on the loading screen with once in while the lockscreen.

Hello
I have a nexus 5 that literally gets stuck at the google logo, then reboots itself into stock recovery. Bootloader works. I have tried flashing stock using fastboot several times. Even tried the persist partition fix. Any help?
Are you sure you did not flash the recovery image as a boot image?
Did you try fastboot flash boot boot.img (using the boot image of you particular ROM / stock ROM)?
Yep, flashed everything properly, even used the Wug toolkit to see if it was me, and I get the same problem.
I'm running the latest build and wanted to remove root and go back to stock. So after removing root I went a head and flash recovery and boot img, but it's now stuck on a boot loop. It's been almost 45 minutes and it's still stuck at loading. Any ideas?
Edit: I've managed to fix the problem by flashing system.img.
So i have a op7p with open beta 1, but when I tried to root it, I cant boot up and gets stuck at the boot animation but in 30fps instead of the intended 60, and Im stuck there and the phone wont boot.
In case that went too fast heres what happened:
I extracted boot.img from ota pack and patched it with magisk manager Canary
Then i went to twrp and flashed it, it do what its suppose to, but instead, play the boot animation incorrectly and stucks there until I force shutdown and flash the stock boot.img
Try the patched stock boot image from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...isk-patched-boot-image-oneplus-7-pro-t3964345
