Extra menu in Jelly Bean - HTC One S

Hi All,
So I've got Paranoid Android JB on my HOS and have a question. Usually, or at least on ICS, in the Google Play store there were 3 dots that when click listed something like "My Apps" or gave you some more options. Similarly in the Contacts App, there was an extra menu button that allowed you to edit and delete etc.
Well, I don't seem to have that option. How on earth do I edit a contact or view my installed Apps via the Play Store?

Not 100% but if it got some kind of toolboox in the settings menu then its in there somewhere under Hardware Keys.

If your ROM has AOKP "ROM Control" under Settings, then its under Rom Control, General UI, and all the way at the bottom w "Show Menu UI Overflow"
It has to be somewhere in your settings though.

go to the play store app, hit menu > settings > 4th box down is Auto-add Widgets. uncheck that box and return to the main menu. now you should be all set
^As said above.
I have GB market however, and to me it says "Auto add shortcuts". It depends if you're on ICS or GB to know which option you'll get.

[Q] How is something defined as an Audio Application in the Notification Bar?

I recently found a cool feature. Settings -> Accessory -> Audio applications. Once this is checked whenever your headphones are plugged in you get a list of "Audio Applications" in the notification bar.
This is really cool, but doesn't include the apps I actually use. Just looks to be all the pre-installed stuff.
Anyone know how to add apps there? How is something defined as an "Audio Application" I would like to include iheartradio, since I use that pretty much everyday while at work.
Thanks!
If you are rooted there is an app included in some roms (Beans for example) that allows you to edit the apps in that list. It shows up as "headset shortcut settings" I think.

I am rooted but on stock jelly bean. I tried searching for the said app but.no luck. Any idea if there is an apk out there for it? Or if its in the play store? Or if theres a manual route?

My Apps choice does not appear in Google Play

The menu choice "My Apps" does not appear at all in Google play on my Galaxy Tab 2.0 7". On my phone its the top item in the menu when I hit Menu button in Google Play. When I start Google Play on tablet and hit its menu button at top of screen, there is no My Apps choice.
Anyone else have this or know how to fix it.
I am rooted with 4.1.2 ROM based on the stock ROM provided in the rooting instructions for the device in the forums here.

Manage Notifications of System Apps on Rooted OP7

How do you guys manage notifications of System apps when their settings are not available under Settings / Apps and Notifications / See All Apps?
I see that the Play Store has something called NotificationsOff for rooted device. Do you use that, or something else?

Actually your answer is fantastic. For some reason I didn't receive the notification (or deleted it by mistake) and hadn't seen it until now. But yes, your answer is perfect. Thank you very much!!!
Summarizing for the purpose of this thread:
- System
- Apps & notifications
- See all 123 apps (or however many you have installed)
- Tap on three dots at the top right, select "Show system"
System apps now appear and their notifications can be managed.

Android: Chrome latest update - Recent searches building up under search bar. How to remove?

I find this so annoying. And it just started about a week ago on all my Android devices after updating Chrome.
I want to stop Recent Searches (those little magnifying glasses) from appearing under the search bar in Chrome. Or turn off search history altogether. Turning off web activity doesn't work with Chrome. I can't find anything to stop this.
Thanks in advance
To stop Recent Searches from appearing under the search bar in Google Chrome, you can follow these steps:
Open Google Chrome and click on the three dots in the top-right corner of the browser window to open the menu.
In the menu, click on "Settings" to open the Settings page.
In the Settings page, click on the "Search engine" section on the left side of the page.
In the "Search engine" section, you will see an option called "Manage search engines." Click on this option to open a list of all the search engines that you have added to Chrome.
In the list of search engines, find the one that you use as your default search engine, and click on the three dots next to it to open the context menu.
In the context menu, click on "Edit" to open the edit window for that search engine.
In the edit window, you will see a checkbox next to the option called "Show search suggestions as you type." Uncheck this box to disable the Recent Searches feature.
Click on "Save" to save your changes and close the edit window.
After following these steps, Recent Searches should no longer appear under the search bar in Google Chrome. If you want to enable the feature again in the future, you can follow the same steps and check the "Show search suggestions as you type" box again.

Just realized I didn't specify Android. Going to edit my post but thank you. Unfortunately this doesn't work in Chrome for Android. No option to manage search engines
This is driving me nuts, too. There's gotta be a flag.
I just uninstalled latest update and this problem solved.
Has anyone found a flag in Chrome to address this?
same here, it's quite annoying
That's the flag you need to disable guys

Oh my God, thanks so much it was super annoying
type "chrome://flags/#organic-repeatable-queries" in chrome and go.
then select "Organic repeatable queries in Most Visited tiles"
after that from drop down menu select disable and save.
Hey guys,
I hope you can help me with this additional query/issue:
I using Chrome on Android. Under the search bar are always some icons of recently visited websites/searches which are changing every day. I really don't need this icons and found this annoying like the other issue you reported above.
Is there any possibility to disable this icons in Chrome on Android as well? To disable the mentioned flag doesn't help with this issue, the icons with recent searches still exist.
Thanks in advance.

I'd actually dumped chrome because of this annoyance, so I'm glad to see this fix.
#internetsuperhero award for you.
Unfortunately it doesn't help me to disable this flag. I see still in Chrome the recent searches very often and also the above mentioned icons/shortcuts...
I registered here just to share that this has got to be the most idiotic feature ever. Who th would want search result queries on their home screen. Enabling this by default and not making it accessible through settings was just a terrible idea altogether

Thank you, good sir! It helped.
This was so annoying seeing search queries on my homepage. Who needs to query the same thing more than once anyway?
