And how do i keep it from coming up? It shows up randomly while plugged in and it goes to it everytime i hit the home button. Ive tried resetting all defaults on any launchers and any accuweather apps. The only way i can get rid of it is to either hit the back button all the way to the home screen or reset the phone

Ics has an option under settings. Display. Weather. To enable or disable this.

I think that is your dock screen. I had that problem with a powerskin battery. The phone thought it was in a dock. I replaced the powerskin and it went away.

Hey everybody,
Just wanted to bring your attention to an awesome app for all you freshly rooted One X users.
The app is called "Live Logcat" by Chainfire and its function is extremely unique. Instead of a boring HTC splash screen and some tiny colored bubbles when you turn your phone on, you'll be greeted with a peek into the complex coding that is your boot process. Not sure what I mean? Well with this app you'll have a realtime view of what your phone is doing as you start it up.
This app is a treat! Load it up once and hit install, then reboot and watch the magic. You can also add in Chainfire's similar app "Live Dmesg" which adds the functionality of seeing what the hardware is doing at boot up too. You can configure what you want the view to look like in the app, and remove copyright information with the awesome (and cheap) pro version.
I've used this app on my previous HTC phones and I was heartbroken when it didn't work on my G2x. Now with the One X my best purchase is now useful again, and it's still got the gusto.
All rooted users can hit up this link to go to the play store. You will see the mentioned apps on this page. I am in no way affiliated or reimbursed by Chainfire, he is just an awesome dev who happens to make the most unique and useful apps.
Enjoy

That's odd, I had no problems at all. Are you on stock or a custom Rom?

I've been using this for a while on all my devices, in conjunction with live dmesg in the "split" mode
Works fine for me also btw

Rebooted to a black screen with capacitive buttons for a minute, after about 2 minutes I got the HTC splash screen and it seemed like it was bootlooping so as soon as I hit the power button to get into recovery I saw the logcat come up. So I waited for that to finish (which took forever, 2 minutes at least) when it finally booted up my phone app fc'd constantly. I'm sure it was one of many tweaks I've applied that was conflicting.
Does this shorten boot up times for you? If so I'll probably give it another go.

I just got back from my trip to Hawaii.
When I was booting my phone up on the plane people thought I was taking over flight controls xD

Doesn't seem to work on the Asus Transformer Prime (TF201). I simply don't get any output during booting... it does boot up btw, you just don't see anything (just a black screen).
Cool idea though
Since I got the one x a month ago, I've noticed that pictures posted sometimes don't show up in the xda app. You have to rotate to landscape then back for them to show up. Has this issue not come up for anyone else?

Do you have forced hardware acceleration turned on? That will screw with pictures.
Sometimes mine fail to load regardless too. I think the app is just buggy.

So I've noticed this strange bug ever since I've had the phone. Sometimes after turning the screen on, my screen won't register touch input properly - ill try to do my pattern unlock and it'll just jitter around and not work. After turning the screen off and on again its fixed. Anyone else have the same problem? It's happened on stock and every other rom I've used.

Sounds like a hardware issue.
Please post questions in the q&a section

Never had the home screen bug happen even once on my device... Its a bit irritating but not that bad. It never happens after the screen has been on, only right when you turn it on
Ah oke. We better pray for the jelly bean update then! Haha

Does this happen to anyone else? I can still exchange mine so I want to know kind this is normal.. it doesn't happen on the left side though.

Went to best buy and every note does the same thing. I'm guessing since its so thin this happens. No biggie I guess.
