i want to create 256mb partition in it with PC
my phone not support CMW Recovery becz its damaged by me after applying Wrong Recovery With Rom Manager
thats why i need tut on PC
what type of partition used For Android 2.2 Ext2 or Ext3 and Is Class 4 Sd Card Good for Partition?

I'm running an HTC Dream, rooted with CM 4.0.4 CM-recovery-1.4 and HardSPL. I have an 8g class 2 SD card formatted with an ext4 and a linux-swap partition.
Does CM4 automatically move apps and memory to the SD card or do I have to do more?
I have 4 gb micro sd class 6.I create 2 partition (ext3&fat32)with mini tool partition wizard for my Motorola xt720,everything work ok untill yesterday.Now my PC dont see micro sd(card reader),but the card works fine in my Motorola.Mini tool wizard see the micro sd,but only fat 32 (there is no more ext3 partition) and now the size of card is 2.7gb.My question is:
1.Why my PC cant see micro sd?
2.How can I reverse my card again to 4 gb?

You can format with phone.
I bought a new strontium 16 gb class card. the card was readable by the phone when and showed 14.92 gb free space. But the cwm recovery is not able to mount the sd card. I formatted the sd card in fat32 format using pc but of no help. I want to make an ext partition so that i can use it as secondary internal memory for my HTS desire. any suggestions..??

I am using samsung galaxy gio gt-s5660 with cm10.1 touchwiz 5 rom.
first,I insert my 64 gb sd card into my device,I have formatted the sd card to FAT32 , so there is nothing happen.
next,I wanted to create a second partition on my sd card,I've tried two methods that is cwm recovery and MIni tool partition wizard to partition it.
(cwm recovery=> I ve choose 4096m ext size and 32 swap size )
then,I went back to the link to sd app I tried using EXT2,EXT3, and EXT4 also fat 32 but couldn't get it to work

I have a mk808b device with JB 4.2.2 Official - Finless ROM 2.1 rom
I'm going to download large files (bigger than 4GB) but FAT32 only support under 4GB
I changed sd card format to EXT3 with MiniTool Partition Wizard Free but device doesn't recognize sd card
is there a way to add file bigger than 4GB to sd?

Maybe try exFAT or NTFS. Almost all devices should be able to read those file systems.
