I replaced framework-res.apk and ... bootloop [LG DoublePlay] - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hey guys!
I modified and replaced the original framework-res.apk on my LG DoublePlay (C729) and now it keeps bootlooping. Even the recovery mode didn't help. I have the original framework-res.apk but I'm not able to get it into my phone. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
EDIT: Recovery mode has no options, it only show an unpacking icon.

Can you connect your phone with PC over adb connection? If you can push framework apk using adb command.
Or if you can boot into recovery make a flashable zip. Add framework apk into that zip (necessary folder ) and flash it.

Use Aroma File Manager to move the apk.
Or flash stock firmware via pc

android addicts: I can connect my phone via USB. Windows connects it as "LGE Android Platform Composite USB Device" and the connection is stable. If I type "adb devices" the list is empty, am I doing something wrong?
Ganesh Arivoli: I couldn't find the stock ROM anywhere. I don't know where it can be downloaded.
android addicts & Ganesh Arivoli: The recovery mode (A, F, Vol+ with Power button or Vol- with Power button) doesn't have any options, it just starts unpacking something and after that it reboots the phone. And then it keeps looping on T-Mobile logo (after LG logo).

SuperOneClick gets stuck on "Waiting for device..."

I've tried various key combinations and I found one that shows the options in recovery. I found it only a few day ago.

First of, find a Windows XP or Windows 7 to do it
Second, use alternative method to upgrade your firmware using LG Update Tool

I already have Windows 7 64-bit, but I'm not sure what you mean by it.
LG Update Tool can't update this phone.

dont know if it helps
but heres a nandroid https://www.dropbox.com/s/v8oiuw4jc2fzn8g/lg%20doubleplay%20nandroid.zip

Thank you, but I'm not able to restore the nandroid backup - I have only the stock recovery <e3> and there's no such option as restore/backup.
BTW, is that your upload?

After the install don't let it boot to the home screen. Instead immediately boot right back into CWM and then you'll be fine.
"Q: I don’t see ClockworkMod Recovery when I enter recovery, I see stock Android recovery.
A: With newer software updates, you may be encountering this error because it will overwrite ClockworkMod Recovery upon reboot. To get around this, simply boot into ClockworkMod Recovery right after flashing in ODIN."
Actually, I found ODIN 3.0.4 was better to flash the GNote 10.1 with... In fact I had problems getting 1.85 to recognise the note was attached to the PC. Since I had 3.04 too i tried that and had no problems... I would suggest using the later version of ODIN, ODIN 3.0.4....

Hi cofface, thank you for your recovery and root.
I have a question. Your recovery make backup with strange path - /data/media/, but user-accessed area of inner-memory have path - /data/media/0. So we don't have easy access to backup via PC connection. Is this possible to change path for backup?

Help
I've seen one or two threads that were in the same vein as this, but no clear resolution. Every time I open SuperSU, I get the message, "The SU binary needs to be updated. Continue?" I select "Continue," and am given the message to install it normally or through TWRP/CWM. If I try through TWRP, the phone restarts into TWRP, but does nothing. If I select "Normal," I get the "Installation failed!" message. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling SuperSU, but that didn't do anything.
In a related problem, I only have root access pretty much immediately after I reboot. Only immediately after I restart the phone can I use apps like WiFi Tether or Titanium.
I'm on stock, rooted 4.2.2. Any help would be great, thanks! :crying:
For problem with su binary updating but end up in failure you must delete set.immutables theres a guide on xda somewhere but you need termanal emulator on your device to remove

[Q] ONE+ Chinese Import / Flash to Bacon issue ? SOS

Hi XDA.
I will try and make as much sense as i can as i am new to rooting etc. Please forgive me if i use incorrect terminology.
Ok so i purchased a Chinese One+ and tried to follow instructions on a YouTube video on how to flash it to the current Cy OS.
This didn't work as planned as my One+ said that there was an issue with "E Footer" so i then followed these instructions to install it via command prompt. (being a new user i cannot post an external link to show you the instructions i followed) However a Google search of E footer is wrong will take you straight to them.
This went well and the install was complete however i was unable to get any signal with my phone network EE. The sim works in my nexus 4 so that isn't an issue.
So i now want to re flash the device using the one plus toolkit but i have hit upon a few snags.
1. I have followed the USB driver guide but cannot find the Samsung drivers on the system to show up to allow me to complete the link between the phone and my win 7 machine.
So currently my One+ shows in device manager as A0001 and not a Samsung android device as the guide illustrates.
2. Do i need o unlock bootloader to flash?
3. The download CM115 link when pressed gives a 403 error so i have downloaded CM11s via an external download but am unsure what one file in the package i need to select to start the flash.
This is all academic however until i manage to get the phone to show as a Samsung Android.
Any help would be appreciated as i am stuck.
Thanks J

Not a problem, anything for a fellow xda user. So fastboot works? Make sure you have the fastboot folder for CM11s on the new PC. Here is the flashall.bat: https://mega.co.nz/#!9UAQRKJS!Kuau0ulgCrxrvE5wBH5Ib54Bv6E64U1RkXje_ONMxUc download it and put it in the folder with the rest of the files and double click it.
