Heroes of order and chaos questions - Xperia Play Themes and Apps

hi all, just downloaded this game and it seems pretty solid. However i want to know how i can "disable" the rest of the phone while playing, so it doesnt get minimized when i get a call/msg and instead the call/msg just gets ignored so i can see later as missed call, once u reopen the game u have to start it all over again.
Also, how can i set the xplay resources so they are all directed to the game, most times i have to reboot the phone just to play, and if it starts laggin at some point it crashes.
TY

Airplane mode with wifi on.
Sent from my GT-P7510 using xda premium

as i mentioned before i do want to get the calls, just dont want to get tabbed while playing.
As also mentioned before my problem with game crashes is not because of network signal quality, but just cellphone resources. Im actually playing offline.

[Q] Anyone with lost sound problems?

Hi guys,
I have this great phone for 3 days now and I have a big broblem. It's losing it's sound after some playing with apps and movies shot by camera. Movies would not play, just stay in black screen. At first I thought Talking Tom is causing this, because it was happening whenever i run it. Only full reboot was fixing the problem.Yesterday I did full factory reset with SD erase and set up my phone again with all e-mail accounts and apps, but NO TALKING TOM!
Today the problem appeared again after I was playing with camera and "Connected Media". No sound, movies do not play. On top of this I got a sudden phone restart !
I called HTC support, and after an hour explaining what my problem is they advised me to do a full reset again and NOT to install any apps from the market. I will use the phone for a day or two and see if it's app related issue....
Anyone having similar issues?
My HTC serial starts with HT15EV....
same problem
I'm having the same problem with my friend. bottom of the screen gets very hot. After 3 minutes the phone turns off the sound while playing the Tom Cat. turns off the phone during a conversation.
exactly! It's maybe app related...I'll report in a few days of testing...
After I've installed talking tomcat ( free version ) my sounds where gone.
After doing a factory reset everything went back to normal.
This has happened three times to me ..
Lost sound .. had to do a reset to fix the first and second time.
the third time .. i was able to fix it opening and closing / playing
with the sound Stuff..
Also Noticed the phone became un-responsive was very laggy.
This is a real problem ..
If it happens and you have all your stuff installed..
I am having the same problem with audio, sometimes I get it after playing angry birds, other times watching a video online. It has also made me late for work one day because I didn't realize the sound went out and never heard the alarm. I wonder if its a LOT of phones that have this problem.
The audio problems started happening to me too! The soound would cut out in the middle of watching a movie. Quite annoying,
So far I've only had audio problems whenever I launched the Talking Tom Cat, other apps I'm using aren't problematic.
I had sound go off during just normal use and very slow gps locks (10 minutes)
lost connection as well.
I don't have Tom cat installed but i put 4 films on my sensation and the sound will be ok for 1 and a half minutes but then it goes off u can skip to further in the film and it will work again for another minute and a half then go off again My alam has let me down a few times aswell . Not very happy
i am using TOM CAT on my sensation, but never faced such probl.
Serial starts wid - HT15ZV

well the problem pertains to app related issue but there is work around install app name volume ace.. when ur fone sound dips down.... fire volume ace and look for sound bar...usually u'll fine system volume gone below 3. increase it via this app jst by simple slider and u r bk..... had this prob with desire hd and this app still works n holds gud...
I have same problem, It happens when I use talking tom for the second time without restarting. Then I have to restart my phone. I am using stock ROM !!
I dont think it is related but all of a sudden my alarms on my phone (alarm clock) dont make any sound I just get the vibration..... yes the ring volume is all the way up, yes it is checked to make alarm sounds while in silent mode, yes I have tried diffrent ringers.... the only thing I didnt try was rebooting the phone.
no sound
i have no sound in any rom.. it's been this way for a while.. i can hear through the ear piece but thats it.. i can't hear with headphones either...

Can't preview music in new Android market

I received the update last night, but when I click on a song to preview it the music does not play. The play button does a little spinning loading animation, then it turns in to a pause button but nothing comes out.
At first I thought my volume was low, so I pressed volume up, but it just turned up my ringer volume. It just doesn't register that there is media playing.
I can download songs and listen to them using the music app just fine, I just cannot preview them before I purchase them.
Is anybody else having this problem?
I have a rooted G2X running the stock room.
p.s. I tried it on my rooted Xoom and it works just fine.
Edit: I should have mentioned that I have rebooted my phone, cleared the market data and uninstalled market updates, but that didn't work.

Same here. Also Im not seeing the Tmobile Free songs, but my roommate on his Mytouch 4G is. Not sure how to fix either of these issues, Ive tried the whole resetting the market thing, but no luck.
I can see the free Tmobile songs just fine, I just can't preview them

Update: Turns out I was being impatient. The songs do play, but it takes like 20-30 seconds per song preview to start. My brother and sister both have the same phones as me, and theirs do the same thing. My dad on the other hand has a mytouch 3g and his music previews start up instantly.
I just don't get it. Now the question is how do I speed up the connection between my phone and the Market Google Music servers. I really don't think its my internet, because it does the same thing on wifi, and I have a pretty fast internet connection.
Your right! I tested today on my phone and its the same, 20-30 sec wait before it plays the previews. I also was able to get my free Tmobile music to show up. I wonder why it takes so long to start up, I wonder if it is also linked to our 15-30 market loading start up too.
Ok, after messing with it for a bit more, I think I'm on to something. I was trying it on my mobile data plan, and I noticed that as soon as I press play the data arrows light up, so it's definitely doing something. Now as soon as the data arrows turn off, the music preview starts. Now I don't know why, but what if it's downloading the entire preview before it actually starts, but even on 4g, 15 seconds for a 90 second clip is pretty slow.

[Q] Is my phone being remotely accessed?

I have no idea what's going on here... a few days back I noticed when I put my phone down, and picked it back up maybe less than a minute later, Google contacts would be open that I hadn't opened (specifically often to one person -- who I know is totally computer illiterate), or Google Search app was open... a few times if I'd left my web bowers open when I'd unlock my phone weird Google searches would be new tabs on my phone. I forgot about it for a few days because nothing strange happened.
To night took the cake... I put my phone down and a few minutes later heard a noise from it. I don't know what the weird noise was, but I checked my phone (it had been on silent!). I looked at it and about 5 tabs were open on my phone. One for Xbox 720 (I think this has been the random search result on more than on occasion), one for some actress I'd never heard of, some random other stuff... all on my Dolphin HD web browser listed on as a search on Google (no websites actually opened) ... a few of them when I pressed the back button actually had a page or two previous of weird searches. ALL OF THEM, the first Google page lead back to was a search for remote desktop protocol. Which... really, why would someone be searching that on Google if that's what they're doing on my phone (and on every tab they've opened)? This is really weird.
Another thing I notice is when I check the marketplace after this, the Go keyboards voice program is the last thing viewed (not installed). I've never viewed this on my own.
Currently, I've turned off my 3G... and actually, it still seemed to be working even unchecked, so I went in airplane mode. Ok, and even IN airplane mode, I just opened my phone and Dolphin web browser has like 10 web pages open but not loaded, and my Google Search was also open... and in its history has type Xbox 720. Uh... I've never used Google Search app before. Also my emoji side of the keyboard was activated.
I'm using LG G2X, rooted, flashed Weapon. Never any problems like this until very recently. The only recent apps I've downloaded (only about 3 in the last month) are all highly reviewed with thousands of downloads... I don't download random stuff onto my phone either.
Everything seems related to Google Search app, emoji, or the Go keyboard, along with trying to automatically search the same Google-related stuff on my web browsers. I don't get it.
How do I STOP this (hopefully without resetting the phone)? It's really unsettling.
remove dolphin hd ....
its probably a bug since remote handling a phone requires atleast a net connection

The Dolphin browser hasn't been updated pretty much... ever. So I don't understand how it would be the problem, it's the same as ever. I don't have apps automatically update. Do you really think it's the web browser? Isn't it odd that it was fine as my main browser for like a year and then went crazy? Plus it was fine for about 24 hours and then went all weird for like 30 minutes straight.
The weird noise I mentioned that got me to look at the phone was really freaky too, it sounded like a high pitched child's laugh, only lasting about a second...
I use AVG. I scanned my phone after this... it mentioned malware in an app I've had forever (some word search game) so I deleted it. That was it.
Also, while maybe unrelated as I don't always go into my settings, I felt some things were checked/unchecked that I wouldn't have had... like "view keys" when typing out passwords and I had "use wireless" and "use GSP satellites" (battery drainer unless needed, right?)...
Anyway, I've just used AVG and deleted just about every app I don't use.
But I can't delete Google Search, and it seems to be the weird one. When I press back after all this weird stuff, it often leads to Google Search, and it has its drop box open, and the only two things searched for are Xbox 720 and n. Just the letter n. I've never ever searched for either of these things.
I'd suggest you disable Go keyboard (preferably remove it for now). See if there is any issues from that point onwards.
It sounds like your phone might be possessed. You might take it to your local church.
All kidding aside, why not format /scard and restore from backup or flash a new ROM?
Sent from my SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
I have just disabled the keyboard... but while checking running services on the AVG and closing what I didn't want, I also checked in settings under running applications... I noticed I had two Android systems running... which, I'm pretty sure shouldn't be happening?
One of them had been up for 30-something hours, the other only 6. About the time everything happened, I'd say. It says it was started by VpnServiceBinder (no idea what or where that is) and that the process is called com.android.server.vpn:remote
Two Google Maps were also running for the same lengths of time.
I ended to process on both of the 6 hour ones, without any any system failures...
So... yes... help?
I don't want to restore the phone, seems like a LOT of work... I'm not that tech savvy, either.
Okay. You should do this: root your phone, install App Quarantine and give it SU permissions. Then freeze all apps that are not system apps, Install an antivirus (I like Avast), then start enabling them one by one as you give them some time in between to check for one when enabled causes the 'seizures' and off course you have your culprit.
Otherwise, flash your phone with a custom ROM. There are many detailed guides here on XDA. Good luck with that.

The happens sometimes, it's a really random and rare bug. After a reboot there should be only one process. But the vpn remote is not a good sign. The best would be to start with a clean system, but if it's a lot of work for you, you could backup your stuff (only what's really needed) reflash the rom and back up the essential parts and hope.

Well, I'm back to say it's still going on. Usually, only at night, like 1-2 AM. Not every night, but sometimes back to back nights. The things it does don't seem like what an actual person might do.
Three nights ago I turned my phone on and instead of getting the lock screen I got the app that plays songs and it was blaring a song in my face. The next night, the same song just started playing, super loud despite silence being on, all by itself a few minutes after I put the phone down. Did I mention the freaky things usually start pretty soon after I put the phone down at night? Last night I heard the sound of a button on my phone dial being pressed (but there was no number actually pressed). When I long pressed my phone after this to see what's running I've got (none of this I opened):Google Search (always without fail this is open; it no longer has typed anything into the search though, it's just open), Phone (pretty much always open too), Apps 2 SD (this isn't normally open), Android keyboard settings (nothing looks different), Settings, Bag It (that stupid little game), and Dolphin web browser (last night it had a new tab open and nothing typed in it, the night before it had randomly looked up an acronym and I'm not sure what it stood for.
To answer a few of the previous questions:
I don't have a voice system opening, and when this stuff happens it's dead quiet... and I don't have wifi on because it drains the battery.
I suppose I may have to reflash my phone or something, which to me is almost more trouble than it's worth especially since I don't know if it'll help... as far as I know I've removed pretty much everything now, and anything left I've had for ages without issue until rather suddenly a few months back... and still am having problems, but it doesn't seem like anyone here really knows what's going on. I've never heard anyone mention things like this online.
Am I the only one ever with a "possessed" phone?
I think I'm just going to turn my phone off at night. What a hassle.

Try to get an adb bugcheck, then analyse it with the Sony automatic analyser that pal szasz made.
I agree with the guys who says its haunted.
Get a priest to perform a exorcism on it! Kind of freaky, but i would perform a clean rom install also.
I would negotiate with it. If that dosent work then search the filesystem for freaky stuff. If that dosent work then do a factory reset. If that dosent work then flash a new ROM. If that dosent work then get a new phone and get rid of the old one for good!
And if your new phone does the same thing, or, your old one comes back to haunt you then you have three options:
1) Deal with it. You're efforts are without meaning. Someone or something is terribly wrong, and it is way beyond your reach.
2) If you try to show someone (who you dont really know, and it wont act up when they are around) then go see a doctor, or phycologist. Someone might still be messing with you though (problably a good hacker, or person you spend alot of time with, most likley smart too).
3) If people know it, and, you are %100 sure nobody is trying to screw with your head then you, or, your phone is cursed. Go see a prophet, pastor, bishop, etc. Just not anyone who is anti-relegious, becuse they will just make it worse :/
Please thank if this helped you, or, found it comical in any way.
I'd just re flash stock. Will take only a few minutes - hardly any trouble. Even backing things up you're looking at less than an hour. No reason not to.

My phone is doing the same thing. The bad part is that I have the LG XStyle which hasn't been able to be rooted yet. What do you guys think my options would be being I can't root phone. I also have noticed that if I start trying to work it out if I type in certain key words it kicks me offline. If you guys got any ideas it would be appreciated.

Apps Being Unresponsive or Hanging

Hi guys. Everything is great with my v20. The problem is that there are certain apps or games which I use, although fully updated which stop responding after a few hours. There is this one game which I usually leave open to farm on its own on auto. Eventually it stops responding to touches on the screen even if the sprites on the app itself keep moving. It comes up with a notification prompt to close the app, wait for the game to respond, or send feedback I have to reboot the phone to get it to work. Anyone else experiencing this kind of behavior and how did you remedy it. I already tried turning off power saving mode and the game optimizer to no avail.

Nothing can be done, you just have to wait for the app to update, although two apps I use xe.com and tsum tsum is having problem it's still usable.
It's a android 7 thing, so it's a waiting game.:fingers-crossed:
Most likely the Android 7 being the culprit, just watch for updates it would seem that there are some changes under the hood that are causing compatibility problems.

Yep. Probably nougat issue or memory leak problem. I'm leaning towards nougat. Luckily I've rarely had the problem.
Thanks guys. I kinda figured out it was a nougat problem since it's not consistent with all apps and just 2 apps in specific.

Any solutions for Call of Duty Mobile Battle Royale freezing and crash?

I mean it's been a month now and the issue hasn't been fixed. People are still arguing about if it's a OnePlus issue or Android 10 issue. I mean whatever the issue is, it needs to be fixed. It's been too long. I don't play a lot but it's irritating when you do play, it crashes and freezes. The issue is only in the Battle Royale mode, Multiplayer works super great.
yes i posted my fix somewhere just open gamespace app thats where game mode was moved too put cod there and ckeck settings in top right of app im compton in cod been playing on 10.0.1

COD Mobile is already there. Also, what settings to check?
the settings in game space top right turn it on that should trigger game mode thats why it closes i used database editor to to put esport_mode_trigger 1 and enable it match my settings and game_mode_ad 1 then play game it worked for me

Doesn't work for me. It still freezes on BR mode.
Freezes for me during Battle Royale
I get random freezes, twice it happened as i was attacking someone. Nice thing was when i came back I was still alive and he was no where to be found lol.
Still really annoying though.
I downgraded because of this bug. PubG to but not as much a COD mobile, in BR mode. It happened 4 or 5 times, I was getting stutters and freezes.
10.01, was running the device hot even when not gaming. Shame to, everything else seemed to work, things that haven't worked ever on Android, worked on 10.0.1, except COD mobile in BR mode.
Sucks but they'll straighten it out. OnePlus seems to have a great development team, and they address most issues.
Downgrade will take you to 9.5.1, and you'll get update alert as soon as you boot up, so don't set your device up, take the update to 9.5.13. Also, I'm not getting the annoying update notifications.
I'm setting up now. Aside from those bugs, Q had my device running buttery smooth, I was about to propose to my device, til death do us.o_0

That's the weird thing, you expect to be dead but your in the same spot after you FC, and restart the app.
No freezes here. Even before it was released. ??
game space click that turn on game then fnatic mode turn that on or in developer setting turn on game driver i use 90hz auto switching resolution id try 60hz and fhd i had same problem as you till i turned on fnatic mode and ran game now its good
Important: If you try this out, disable all lock methods first.
I fat fingered the edge in DS, and changed resolution to 4800, and tried to flash Rom to reset resolution, didn't help, but I fixed it, so I had to flash TWRP, and Magisk again and for good measure I flash inactive slot, only Magisk, though. I forgot to switch back to active slot, and this caused data to unmount, and for 2 boots, sims weren't recognized, and phone settings kept crashing, so I cleared cache, and storage for phone settings, then I flashed Rom, TWRP, and uninstalled Magisk and booted to system, then recovery again to flash Magisk. I just completed 2 full matches of BR, and didn't change anything, and forced 90Mhz rr, stuck. I have a bunch of mods, so I don't know which one was causing the bug. We have a winner!
PS: It seems if you flash Magisk on inactive slot, you don't lose TWRP, after uninstall. Maybe TWRP, sees Magisk, even though it's not in the boot partition, while flashing TWRP, installs on both slots. I'm not really sure what's going on there, but I have somewhat of a understanding of Project Treble. But I will do a couple of nandroids, to be safe.
ViperMod seems to be the culprit.
