Hey guys,
got the phone unbricked through lg service centre and i am facing display off problem
. The screen does not wake up but the lights goes on and everything else works. I am using
cm 7.2 on it....its a very irritating as i have to restart phone by taking out the battery...
.please guys help......needed help so badly. DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO...
maybe you should try another rom

Yesterday, I got weird problem (in one hand). Phone screen on touch becomes blurry, like it's liquified... This never happened before and I believe it's hardware problem. Here's YT video which shows whats happening:

Anyone had this kind of problem? Maybe some advice?

There is something pushing on the screen from behind. Push hard on a laptop screen or anything LCD and it will do that. It's to do with how LCD works.
I know, but how come it happened out of nothing? Phone has not been opened...

i got this issue when am using motorok e8
it has fine lcd.... but the main drawback is lcd issue
well in the on topic., as hillbeast said... the gap btw the lcd screen and the screen case gets shortened... so when u put ur finger..it hitting the screen case/something below..
SUGGESTION:
ur lcd got damaged... use till it lost completely.. meanwhile buy one lcd or report to
this to the nearby samsung service centre

Friend of mine who works in T-mobile told me the same thing. He said I should wait for it to stop working and bring it to service as I still have warranty.

Hmm, my cousin had the same in SG3, but it dissapeared. He doesn't do anything about it, just it was gone after some time...

my lgp500 has automatically got sharp black lines on upper half of screen..
it is increasing day by day and getting new lines...
i hv installed fresh rom even not solving problem.
touch is working fine..
anybody can help wats wrong with it
Maybe the screen's digitiser has gone bad. The service center for you I guess.

I'd been using XOLO Q1000 for almost a year now. Recently a month back I gave the phone for a service, since the screen's kinda not working properly (Touch phase). Lately a day back I received the mobile as it was said that the problem, which I'd been faced has been repaired by the service center people. Everything was under control and was doing okay until I tried to install MIUI v5 on my phone on the day I got it back from the service center (Douche move, I know!). So yeah, I've rooted and installed the MIUI OS and there come the boot-loop. I've faced with a several automatic restarts and it never crossed the XOLO LOGO boot animation. After 12 hours, I've tried to flash my device with SP Flash tool. And boom, display's dead. but not completely. I can feel that the touch phase is working but it doesn't show anything rather than a distorted black&white effect. Is there any fix for this? Am I facing a hardware issue or a software one?

when i was using my device its shutdown immediately sometime its shutdown with lines on screen and stuck and restart i was think this is battery issue i bought a new battery from market but it doesn't match on my board i replace 2, 3 batteries still sometime boot properly and sometime mobile shutdown and bootloop so i refund my battery
im using flumics 7.6 and also fulmics 8.0 i have tried different rom like ressurection remix rom 7.1.2 im very upset with my device i cant trust any hardware repair because i m financially weak so i don't want to waste money any cheap repairing shop
please any expert help i can show u how its shutdown because if screen fading and flickering but phone wont turn off

Did you try using 100% stock firmware? And not a custom rom? If you tried stock and it still does it hardware failure.
