If you got it for development then you are gonna be sadly disappointed. Mostly do to not having an official android version and no source code for the device.

I have originally bought vodafone's sensation off ebay and almost couple of weeks later my local version came out and i bought that.
recently the local version got my language support natively cross apps OTA

You could alternatively go search for engadget android market or search for new android market

But those apps are not very stable and keep crashing

If you are rooted just flash an ICS rom, there are plenty out there for the Sensation. Most stable I've used is the Darkforest one, didn't require any fiddling, just flashed and worked without a problem. If you need to have your phone repaired then you can always return it back to it's original kernel/radio/rom, I remember seeing a thread on here somewhere for it.
I rooted my phone from revolutaniry site .... Please help me more

You have 2 options:
1. Flash custom ics rom as per above suggestion. Read and use sticky thread in development forum.
2. Restore phone to official rom via RUU, then wait for the official ota update
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1074559
In my opinion 1 is the only sensible choice. More features, earlier releases, better support via xda and from specific forums.
Totally agree, custom roms add many more features and are updated every few weeks where needed. Can't say the same for HTC
R u mean that when I root my phone the offical ROM will be changed
..... Sport but I don't understand u
May be I am not experience licked you ...

No you can root and leave official rom unchanged.
All the custom roms are pre-rooted.

What things would be considered or not as android dev?

ROM compiling/making, is that one?

Yes, and no.

I think so, anyone that makes/develops an Android rom should be considered an Android developer.
I wouldn't say just compiling the rom would make them an Android developer because building it really only requires you to type a few commands into the command line.
i'm torn on that one too does it matter how you're called?

Windows for Sensation?

Hi guys,
I was wondering if it is possible to port windows to our sensation.? Since both lumia and sensation use snapdragon processors.
Im a noob, don't know much about development. Just struck me so I thought i should ask.
