How to install spigen screen protector? - Nexus 4 Accessories

Does the side labeled "back" go into the screen? Or does the side labeled "front" go onto the screen?

The side labeled "back" goes on the screen, the side labeled "front" is the one you will be touching when it is installed.

Don't worry, I found the "front" and "back" labels confusing as well. I suppose a tag that says "this side towards screen" would make it too easy for the customer.

touchpad/buttons below screen lose?

Today i have noticed that there is now some play in the buttons below the keyboard, that makes it feel like the touch sensitive area is becomming loose. If the lightly press on the down button or surrounding area below the centre 'ok' button , i feel and hear a click. Pressing harder then obviously activates the tactile button. It feels as if the plastic sensitive panel has become unstuck......????
Also there is slight movement top to bottom - ie i can slightly move the pad up towards the screen.
Anyone else have this?
I'm having the same 'problem'. I can move the bottom panel a small bit

I guess that must be normal, but do you have the first issue described in the first post?

No I don't have that problem. It feels solid.

Removing case mate barely there?

I just got the barely there case and put it on. How do I get it off? I tried grabbing one side with my nails but can already see it digging into the plastic. How does everyone else take it off?

use 2 hands, one hand on the left, one hand on the right, then use your nails to pull both tops sides off..
Haha now that someone else has posted something about this, I'm not as embarassed to admit that I can't get my barely-there off.
Maybe you can try prying it open a hair with your nail and then wedging a credit card in the gap. Then just run it up the side to dislodge the entire thing.
got it off with no problem

Would you mind sharing as to how you did it?

To get the case off, I start by working on the bottom right portion of the case. I hold it in a landscape orientation with the front facing camera on the left. Left hand holds the top left and my right hand sort of cradles the right side of the phone. (Top left/right side via your own point of view, aka left hand holds top right of actual phone while right hand holds bottom of the phone)
From that position, I slowly nudge the edge of the case off the top right with my two thumbs and using my middle and fourth fingers to push off the phone's speakers through the holes as leverage.
Once you've gotten that corner edge off, it's a simple matter of pushing along the edge until the whole side is off and the phone is free.
Hope that helps!

start from the top, pull both side outwards, so both top sides are off, then put a finger between the case so it doesnt snap back on then work on a bottom side, then walla
hold it facing out camera at the top facing you. grip it pressing the middle with your thumb while pulling back on the ends. you should be able to pop it off then

Scrren deflect at the corner.

Can you check one thing in your phone?
Whether a screen is deflect more under pressure at the right down corner (search) than left (home)?
Thx.
My screen doesn't give to pressure but I noticed the back case creaks more on the lower right than lower left.

[q] is there a way to put the buttons on the left side of the screen?

I am right handed, however if I could just have the buttons on the left side of the phone when rotating I would be so happy... Any idea if this is possible?

Anyone else having issues using buttons (icons) on the edges?

As the subject title shows, the main one I have an issue with is the Play Store's burger menu on the top left, it's hit and miss, even more so with a TG screen protector applied.

Might be the protector as well as you tapping too far on the edge.
it is in fact not responsive on the very edge but 100% working on the flat surface before the edge.
