hi. i was flashing xxkpq before and touch screen wasnt responding. today i flashed xxkpq again and it didnt respond. then i flashed vurrut kernel. it is working well. but i want to use custom rom(like cm10, remics-jb ...). Can these custom roms work with vurrut kernel ? What should i do ?

no it doesnt support any new AOSP ,, try to reinstall ur rom maybe it was jenny in your mobile !

i want to flash my phone with custom rom...
the problem is., thre are so many roms...available which one to choose...which is better...
some say after flashing
wifi not working.,
bluetooth not working..,
GPS..,
battery drain,volume problem...many problems...
i want my custom rom with ( live wallpaper facility) also provide good performance without any lags as equivalent as stock rom (froyo 2.2 with live wallpapers) presently i'm using...
which rom should i use....or..,is it better to flash or continue with the stock rom...
need screens,tutorials if possible and post videos(you tube) if u use custom rom which works well as good as stock rom....

I use Vivek's ROM V 2.0. Its very stable, fast, everything is working properly and..... since I flashed it my battery backup time increased from 12h to 72h
I got new i9003. It is in froyo i need to update to xxkpq or else mod rom
nd pls tell me which is best custom rom (like posiedon's rom)
and i am a gamer
and also a pro noob

best custom rom - every rom is good here. But poseidon is popular among member.
Dont ask for flashing guide. In general section there are sticky thread which gives good info for noobs. Also learn to read threads properly. Thanx
i found blaqkarma has done well,everything is fine with his rom,look and feel is awesome.and we are waiting more from him,i tried almost all roms,now im using posiedon's rom.
For stock roms you can try XXKPQ(more developer support) or DDKP2.
For kernels : UtterChaos Kernel or Bam Custom Kernel (my favourite) or Vurrut Kernel
For Custom Roms : Poseidon Rom, Cranium Rom, Vurrut Rom... and many more...
If the Camera is not important to you, then you can also try out CM7, MIUI, or if you are adventurous, CM9
DDKP2 is by far the most stable ROM i have used! Try DDKP2!

I have been using Cranium since the second day i bought the phone (5 days ago) and i did not try any other rom else.... so i have the same question as you.
I can say about cranium that is pretty stable and looks amazin with the ICS theme it packs: I changed the kernel to Phoenix though, because i had a couple of random reboots..... and now seems to work better even......

Being a gtp1000 gsm user i need 2 test aokp ics android rom..but mdt matter is so confusing..now i am using on it a rom based ex4 file system and probably 2.3.6 jq8 optmzd nowipe rom and redpill kernel ...but now duno whether i am on mdt or non mdt they re using so much terminologhy 2make noone understand whyyy...

Not yet and probably never have Philz cwm cuz this device have GREAT devs but not the most famous. Just my thoughts.
The better way to get cwm is flash universal cf-root in GB rom with odin then flashing CM10/10.1/10.2/11 CWM is upgraded with the rom, to get the latest version(6.0.4.7) just flash cm11.

All the CMs I tried were looking cool but none of them were bugless, and sometimes the bugs were irritating.
I tried a 2.3.6 Stock-Based ROM which was really cool for me.
