Hi!! I have install CW 11 rom in my device xperia J. Now, at the end of the guide, It says that you have to flash the baseband of the ICS. My problem is this: I tried install it, but I do not know when it's installed (after or before installing rom). wonder if someone could kindly tell me the procedure (with attached files needed) to complete the process. Thank you very much!
I tried to install CM12 in my Xperia M2
But it is unsuccessful
I am not sure that my phone is D2305 or D2303
But D2303 was written on the package box
I was following the method and steps in this video
with cm-12-20150126-UNOFFICIAL-eagle and boot-recovery.img from galaxyfreak
One more thing is
After I installed the rom and select reboot system now
It respond that the root access possibly lost and ask me fix it or not...
Than black screen and tremble are present and I can feel the heat of the phone
I am very unhappy with the result and feel hopeless
U must follow instructions in rom threat... some roms needs to be installed over specific rom. Like here. U need flash via flashtool official 4.3 , flash kernel with cust. recovery and then flash CM. Follow instructions
thank you so much

Hi guys,
I found the kingroot app somewhere in xda and successfully root my lollipop z3, but I didn't directly flashed nuts recovery, (my fault)
I deinstalled the kingroot app and rebooted and my root permissions was gone, although when I install it again it shows me I'm rooted,
Also root checker shows, I have the şu binaries installed but don't have root permissions,
I don't have a recovery
I have the su binaries
But I don't have root permissions
Also tried supersu but don't work
Pls help me :/ I'm not a noob but this is really hard to figure it out
I appreciate any help
Thanks
What firmware version are you on? Flash back to the shipped firmware FTF for your region and use giefroot instead.
I'm on 690 German ftf
to be honest you would be better off downgrading to a .77 KK rom and then using giefroot to root it and then install nuts dual recovery and installing a pre-rooted LP rom
hi pls help me i need to root my z3 but i don't know how so help me pls
z3 D6603
VERSION android : 5.1.1
néméro de build 23.4.A.1.264
i can't use ( power )+ (volume + ) so help me to installe it
i diden't found my firmware
u cant use power+volume up since u dont have dual recovery
the best way is to download superus in external SD and put device in recover and install supersu
how to put device in recovery without root ?
u can do that using the method in cyangenmod wiki page - google : install cyangenmod on sony z3
but u need to install adb and sdk to ur PC
if you find it hard the u may downgrade ur phone , root it then upgrade using pre rooted ROM

I just rooted my Z3. its fairly simple. Follow the Guide here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/general/guide-rootrecovery-how-to-root-install-t3017056
to summarize, what you need to do is as follows:
1. Downgrade to Android 4.4.4
2. Root the phone
3. Update back to Android 5.1.1 using pre-rooted roms
All tools, detail step by step is at the link i shared above. worked for me.
First of all thank you all very much for your kind effort to bring Xperia C back to work. nice job!:good::good:
I tried to follow your instructions to install custom roms on my Xperia C, but at the second steps I've been stopped! CWM cannot be installed cause my device is on S1 Boot Version 2.14.J.0.68 and "wmshua" is not working anymore (some say it needs connection with its website and the site is down for a while!)
so I need your help to know if any other program can install FTF files (and CWM afterwards) on my device? any other way is possible?!
Thank you again
