:crying:
Does Note 10.1 support 64GB MicroSD? or just only 32GB?:crying:
Mine uses SanDisk Mobile Ultra MicroSDXC 64GB just fine.
The release of ICS supported 64gb sd card BUT it needed to be formatted FAT32 to work. After the 1st ICS update it supported exFAT.
JB supports exFAT natively...

Hi all:
Hopefully you can assist me I currently have a 32 gig card in the 8013 with lnk2sd running fine I got my hands a new 64 gig card but when I run mini partition my W& machine doesn't see the card for anything beyond 32 gig the 8013 sees it as a 64 though how can I partition it to be able toy use link2sd any clue?
Check the SD card properties in Windoze and see how it's formatted. I think FAT32 has a 32 GB limit. If it is FAT32 reformat it in ExFAT
Did you partition it already... Also what ROM are u running and how did u get link2sd working... I can't get it to work

No rom just straight root
I formated my 64GB in fat32 on my PC. Everything is now o.k.
If you use files more than 4 GB it is better to format in exfat.

I'd say Durango01 has used a 3rd party app to format FAT32. I have used Easius partition manager to do this but as JB supports exFAT, why would you?
CMR doesn't support exfat so if you are planning to use your SD card for backups as well as appdata it wont work. Best way would be to partition and have one partition exfat and another as exfat for larger files.
Sd card Help
Guess I'll just stick with 32g. This is all confusing to me. Thanks.
i bought 64gb sd class 10 and followed zedomax mode and converted my sd to my internal memory no need to partation
My S3 is running 6.0.3.0 CWM and it won't read my Sandisk Ultra micro SD XC class 10 card. I read that if I format it from exFat to Fat32 it should solve the problem. If I do that will it only give me 32 GB of usable storage? Can it corrupt the card? What can I do to make my 64 gb work in CWM?

Format it as FAT32 with Ease US... The downside is not being able to store 4+ GB files...
I recently purchased the SanDisk Ultra 64 GB MicroSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card for my Verizon Galaxy S3. When I put it into my phone (I am running CM 10.1), it automatically formatted the card to FAT32. Then I wanted to put movies on my card, but I couldn't put files over 4gb on the phone because it was FAT32. So then I formatted the card to exFAT because you could put big files on the card with that format, but my phone said "SD card is black or has unsupported filesystem." I thought that the GS3 supported exFAT? Is it that CM 10.1 doesn't support exFat? I was wondering how to fix this or how I could put these big movie files on my phone.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

This is exactly your problem, don't use AOSP so I can't verify this working, but this should do it.

Hi to all, i want to buy this tablet so i want to know if is possible use a 64GB MicroSD card in NTFS or ExFAT filesystem!
Thanks
I'm using a 128gb microsd card in my shield tablet.
Ntfs or exfat?
Exfat
I'm using ntfs
NTFS 128 GB for my primary. There is a test somewhere on here where NTFS for the Shield was shown to write twice as fast as exFAT.

I have formatted in NTFS but my MicroSD (Samsung EVO+ U1 class 10) read at 55Mb/s circa and write at 23Mb/s circa.

Thats great. My 128GB Lexar 633x only reads at 41.82 MB/s and writes at 12.86 MB/s (internal shield tablet 16gb storage reads at 78.81 MB/s and writes at 36.66 MB/s)
