I was wondering if there was something to get the volume rocker to change depending on whether the screen is in portrait or landscape? I hate that when I am using my GNote in portrait mode that volume up is down on the volume rocker. Thanks.

Would it be possible through an app/ROM change to change the behavior of the volume buttons when the phone is locked?
I'd prefer they not adjust playback volume while the phone is locked, unless both buttons were pressed for a second or so first.
Every time I touch the Volume Button on the side of the case (even accidentally) the ringer volume goes down incrementally. Can this button be locked or deactivated? Can the volume be locked in some other way? Does the vibration setting have anything to do with this issue?
Volume Control + will lock your volume for you.

Is there a way to switch the volume buttons in portrait mode? When I turn it around, I turn it to the right so the power button is top right. But in the position, the top rocker turns the volume down instead of up and gets kind of annoying. Is there a way to switch the buttons based on the orientation?

That's actually something that's bothering me as well. I sometimes find myself having the tablet turned the other way and then the volume buttons are 'wrong' (up = softer and down = louder sound). So any idea's are welcome
i would like to know if there was a simple silent app that flipped the volume control in landscape
in potrait volume up is volume up
but in landscape volume up (right) is volume down it's confuzing
i don't know if this is a question or not move it if it is
There is Xposed module called "Swap Volume Keys when not in default orientation mode".
I wanna know if there's any way to lower the duration that the volume menu shows when you use the physical buttons to change the volume.
