[Q] I Need help fixing my HTC Inspire

the other day I turned my HTC Inspire off to charge for the night and the next morning I turn it back on to see it stuck at the white HTC screen. The phone vibeates like 5 or 6 times while on the White HTC screen... I get it to the BOOTLOG menue to try to reset the phone and it will not do anything it says no CID and something else. Please helpif you can.. I am open to any advise.. I was told that I could download new rom on my external SD card and then upload it thru BOOGLOG but cannot find what i need to download... any help would be great !!! please advise as I anxiously await!! Robert
First thing to try when it is stuck is to pull the battery out. put it back in and restart the phone. See what happens after that and report if the phone is still stuck or if it booted.
it is still stuck wont do anything ... i have to hold the power button and the volume down button to get it in Bootloop mode and still does nothing... is there any hope on saving this phone?

Please do your research on what you are doing before you do it. Bootloop is not a mode but what your phone does when it loads the animation and then starts the animation over and over again. My advice would be to read the stickies before you do anything else.
Please for the love of all tech. Do your homework on what your doing or you will wind up with a device that wont turn on and cant be returned. Flashing things to your phone is not for people that dont want to learn.

You obviously need to read up on this device. There is bootloader or fastboot. Yes you can flash a Rom through bootloader or a signed ruu through fastboot. One can be done if you are s-off and the other if you are s-on. Read the forums to learn about this device because no one is going to be able to help you if you can't even understand what they are telling you.

I just wanted to use revolutionary to root my phone, but nothing happened. After that the phone just rebooted and then turned off. Now I can't turn it on and it even doesn't charge!
help please
Your phone is not brick, can you still boot into HBOOT? Volume down key and press hold power button.

no, it seems completely dead. Even when I connect it to the charger the charging light doesn't turn on!
did you have cwm installed on your phone already and if so what version
remove battery.. then try powering the phone.. if nothing happens.. follow this thread...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1198585
and if still nothing happens..then I would say that it's bricked...

I tried another battery but it didn't work
at least someone tell me if I can return it or report it as lost phone? I am on tmobile
"make sure" there is no way to boot on then just bring back to T-mobile to get a new one; Just say "I got no cure" "whatever they asked.

First: Wrong section!
Second: Wait until you get home and send it to repair.
Third: If you down want to wait, reboot the phone into bootloader mode and give it a factory reset.

If you can get to bootloader, it's not bricked. Leave it plugged in overnight, and reboot. Should be fine.

If it's still locked you can download the ruu for her HTC one x and just run it on the computer with obviously the phone plugged in. But you will have to find out which ruu like 2.20 or whatever it might be. (You have to be in bootloader) and hit the fastboot now plug in your phone and it should say fastboot usb now run the ruu. If you need help real bad go to onexroot.com and go to the UNbricking link see your softbrick video to go through the steps.
