I wanted to create a partition and as i have a 32gb card i did one with 4 gb but aperantly a etx4 partition is not supported can u tell me how can i create one with 4gb, supported by this device?

but it says that the device doesn't support, and btw i have cmw

You have to make a partion on your SD card before you use it
Go to CWM menu and create partition (take appropriate size Eg 512 mb if using 1 gb card)

Have you tried making an ext-4 partition on your card? If the ROM supports it it will install apps in there automatically

APP2SD doesn't move some apps to sdcard.
That's because some apps aren't movable. These include Widgets, system apps and apps that developers have blocked from being moved

Before some day I see magic ....
I partition my 8 Gb memory card.& Make 500MB partition using CWM recovery 5.0.0 ext4.
then use app S2E [email protected] app to move all data.
Just check all option including Application ,Application data & caches.
& reboot phone.....
& the magic ....
All apps moves in extended sd card 500mb partition .
Inaternal storage just 5.95mb.
By doing this now i able to use lots of App.Just see Attchment.
I think devs must add this so called "magic" in their posts

Bro! Don't u know internal storage refers to ROM i.e. Read Only Memory & RAM is Random Access Memory (~280MB).

Ive root my galaxy grand last week. I flash genxt rom to my android. There is an apps called External to internal. I still dont know how to use it. I tried google it but useless.
I hope u guys can advice me.

The app moves other apps from external memory to internal memory of phone...
System tuner is a better one for this job..

yes sure... the phone has 2 memories for storage... one is the Internal (like ur pc's hard disk)
one is external(like a permanent pen drive)
the extenal memory is the sd card u have put in your phone...
the hard disk of ur phone is called the Internal SD Card....

My internal SD 4GB. External SD64GB. I wish to to swap the storage using External to Internal SD. After launch the apps, my android shows that internal 64GB & External also 64GB. It must be something wrong with the setting.

hmmm... I see that its a bug... Or u r doing a mistake... I would rather suggest you to contact the devs of the app by the email they provide on play store... This would most probably be the best solution as u should not risk ur phone....

can any body please help me,
I am not able to instal any sense rom in my explorer,
or any rom which requires sd-ext partition,
i have successfully created ext3 partition(1 GB), swap size : 0
wipe data/factory reset,
flash rom.
but it didnt work for me yet,
m using ClockWorkmod Recovery 5.0.2.8
i have also tried to reset my phone many time after flashing rom,but same thing happens,
phone stuck at htc beatsaudio screen.
also,
i have wiped dalvic cache,wipe cache partion,everything did what i can do,but nothing work for me,
roms which do not need a partition working perfectly,
i am using minitool to create partition,
plz help.......

thanks buddy,i tried using different recovery,and now its working,and now reading your reply,you are absolutely correct, philz worked,
but only feature is not there to create a partition philz,means philz cant create a partition like CWM 5,
but its working,,,
